Everything was as expected. We loved staying in the Marina on a house boat. The views are great.

Breakfast was a tad underwhelming.

This was a really wonderful experience and I will definitely be back next year. The hostess was extremely friendly and helpful - she made me feel at home right away. The boat itself was very well-designed and decorated, with lots of thoughtful extras. The marina offers such a peaceful location. It was lovely to wake up in the morning and see the loons floating and diving into the water just outside my window, and the terrace was a perfect place to enjoy a nice cup of handpicked tea and read a book or do some work.

Many of the other guests appear to have arrived by car. There is a city bus a short walk away and it was fairly easy to call a taxi. However, during TEFAF, it might make sense to offer a shuttle or negotiate a discounted rate with a local taxi company to help guests more easily commute to the fair. The cost of a taxi ride to/from the MECC was around €13 and approximately €21 to get to the city center.
