Room service takes too long and sometimes does not answer.

Property is way over priced, not 5 stars level it’s like 4, disgusting Sewer smell in bathroom and hallway. They don’t clean very well just surface cleaning. Breakfast small buffet not like other hotels in Turkey. Very small gym ( even though they have plenty of empty hallways around it for nothing. The only one thing going on for them is the location.

Ho messo punteggio basso solo per un motivo- quando sono arrivata in camera dopo 2 minuti hanno bussato la porta e un addetto dell’hotel é entrato per “sistemare” il frigobar . Davanti a me ha tolto tutto dal cassetto sotto isola del te e ha nascosto tutto sotto la chiave in frigo che io poi non potevo aprire ed usare. Per me un gesto molto brutto e sgradevole. Davanti ad un cliente nascondere , mettere sotto chiave per bloccare e permettere usare ( mangiare o bere qualcosa in più ?!?!) Intanto potevo anche pagare se per caso mi servisse qualcosa- nessuno non mi ha chiesto. E comunque se mi servisse il frigo - non c’era e sono in un hotel di 5*

Everything was really excellent , the room was great very spacious , clean and new .. the bathroom was also modern and nice . We tried the Turkish it was so relaxing and refreshing !

When making the booking I already mentioned that we need to have a connected rooms as we have a special needs person among us , but unfortunately this was not addressed , was not prepared and the receptionist asked us very firmly “ did you call and confirm ?” Even though I never call any property . if I need to call then why there is a special requests field ???? .. anyways they found rooms next to each other which somehow was acceptable .Other than this issue our stay was great and perfect !

Das Frühstück war sehr gut, der Frühstücksraum hatte allerdings nur wenige Fenster zum Innenhof. Wir hätten uns einen Panoramablick über Istanbul gewünscht. Besonders gut hat uns die Happy Hour gefallen. Eine russische Pianistin hat in der Lobby im Übergang zum Restaurant ca 3 Stunden gespielt. Ganz phantastisch!!!

Ein Panoramarestaurant bzw. Ein Rooftop (es gab dort einen Nachtclub, aber das ist nicht dasselbe) gab es leider nicht. Das hätte man sich sehr fürs Frühstück oder Abendwssen gewünscht. Die Rezeption könnte etwas schöner gestaltet sein. Es könnte dort z.B. mehr Kunst hängen. Es gab vom Schwimmbad aus nur einen Blick in einen Innenhof, der wenig Pflanzen enthielt und nicht ansprechend gestaltet war. Hier würde man sich mehr Kreativität wünschen.

The location of the hotel was perfect. Everything was clean and the desigh was chic and classy. There was a turkish style restaurant with live music"No Mad" with tge bosphorus viee which is highly recommended.

Istanbul celebrating 100 years a republic a large flag was hanging from the top of hotel completely obscuring our window so no natural light For the price we should have been informed our room had no view or daylight

Gute Ausgangslage um Beyouglou kennen zu lernen und nahe vieler Sehenswürdigkeiten. Unser Zimmer hatte Bosporusblick und war herrlich ruhig. Alles hat super geklappt und das Frühstück war sehr lecker mit frischen Säften, Obst und einer sehr großen Auswahl an kalten und warmen Speisen. Schön ist der große indoor Pool und der Fitnessraum. Die Matratze vom Bett und die Bettwäsche waren sehr angenehm. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Im Frühstücksraum ist es meistens sehr laut und es gleicht einer Bahnhofshalle! On top kommt noch eine ganz grausige Musik als Hintergrundmusik die ziemlich laut ist und keine chillige Atmosphäre macht. Schade, dass der Frühstücksraum keinen Anschluss an der Terrasse hat- man ist praktisch gezwungen innen zu essen. Sehr schlecht ist ebenfalls, dass während des Essens mit Geschirrwägen sehr rücksichtslos abgeräumt wird und die Kellner mit ihren Hinterkörper fast am Tisch, indem wir sassen und gegessen haben, kleben. Wir haben das auch dort dem Management weitergegeben (Feedback) aber es hat sich nichts wirklich während unseres Aufenthaltes diesbezüglich geändert! Die Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer sollte erneuert werden!

هذه هي المرة الثالثة التي أقيم فيها في سوفتيل تقسيم هو فندقي المفضل في اسطنبول، كالعادة الفندق فاقع كافة التوقعات من حيث مساحة الجناح ونظافته واكتماله بكل ما قد أحتاجه أثناء فترة الإقامة، طاقم عمل محترف وودود للغاية، بغض النظر عن السعر فالفندق ممتاز يستحق كل ليرة خاصة لمن يبحث عن إقامة فاخرة وهو مرتاح البال ..

Location is ideal to the key sites around Taksim and the Metro nearby makes it easier to commute around the city. Sofitel also knows the meaning of luxury travel and has always maintained their property well.

Drop off point for taxis and cars is limited.

L'hospitalité. Générosité. Surclassement ( nous ont donné une suite au lieu de la chambre ). C'était l'anniversaire de mon épouse, et ils nous décorer la suite avec des pâtisseries en lui souhaitant tous un joyeux Anniversaire.

We loved Sofitel. We had a very large room with a king size bed. We did not have a view but that was no problem since we used the room only for sleeping :) The bathroom was comfortable too. The hotel is located very centrally so we could visit all the important places very easily. Instabul is such a great city. The breakfast was terrific. The hotel people were always available to help.
