Sitting on the back patio was terrific. Three deer came to bisit. The stars were incredible and the hot tub a joy. Thanks for sharing your lovely home

We drove in later at night and had no problem driving right to the place with the extra directions given from owner! We enjoyed the serenity at night in the hot tub and were in awe of the sunrises from the deck. Would highly recommend this property for a fantastic little getaway

House was clean and well maintained. Amazing views and convenient to local shops.

All the linens were fresh, a/c cool, abs surface thoroughly cleaned! Communication with the owner and local manager were great and having laundry onsite was very helpful. It’s not a luxury kind of stay and guys like me at 6’5 have to duck through certain doorways, but it’s a practical, inexpensive, great views, and a convenient location kind of a stay in a quiet neighborhood. Definitely would recommend it to other travelers!

Spent a night here after camping I’m keen for a couple nights. Had such a great time, we wanted to stay longer! Will definitely be coming back.

This rental had exactly what my family needed to get away for a weekend. Kids loved playing foosball and soaking in hot tub. Deck is beautiful and spacious and so relaxing to sit and listen to creek down below. The stairs made it easy for us to reach the creek, even my special needs son with mobility issues was able to do it. Loved the seating platforms to just enjoy the beauty of the area.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The hot tub is amazing, and the stars at night were beautiful. The scenery in the surrounding little town and mountains and absolutely gorgeous!

The location was great! Close to everything! 10-15 mins from downtown Kernville, the river front and park. Less than an hour to the Land of 100 Giants. The cabin is adorable, has everything you need to have the comfort of cooking and lounging by the creek, in the hot tub or just eating a nice dinner on the back patio. (bbq as well) The views from the deck are gorgeous, tons of birds and wildlife. We even had a friendly (non- spraying lol) skunk have dinner with us! lol. Frogs and crickets sing to the evening sky, as the gorgeous stars pop up to play. Condors fly overhead in the heat of the day, as you see tons of various birds and butterflies. Poppy's and flowers in abundance in the backyard and area. Air conditioner works great! (thank you it was hot on our visit) Comfy beds, hot showers and clean. We are already looking at our calendars to book our next trip. Sharon is super great at communicating, pleasant and very helpful. Thanks for sharing your home!!

This was part one of my trip to SoCal. Start off in the relaxing mountains and then go to L.A. Wow! I was impressed at the drive in and I have traveled to Alaska and Hawaii as well as 44 other states. The property itself was easy to find and as described. Right down to the hot tub view :) The house was too much for just myself, however the location and amenities are what I was after and Tillie Creek Retreat was juuuuust right! Using this trip as a metaphorical springboard back into single life I desired to get back to my personal loves. Seeing nature in its purest, hiking, water in multiple forms, star filled night skies. This house provided not only that but a great base to start from to get into some of the rawest land still remaining in North America. The Sequioa National Forest is right there, as is Lake Isabella(you can see it from the deck). I was able to take a whole day and travel through the National Forest and still be back for dinner in the full kitchen with most items anyone would need to make a 5 course meal. I appreciated the spice rack as well lol. Clean with the extras that make a stay comfortable I recommend this place for anyone with a family or even two as there is enough space for all with two full bathrooms and washer and dryer. The deck and stairs down to the peaceful creek are in excellent shape and did I mention clean. Thanks for being on the spot with communication accessibility and the alternative access to the place ;) I already told my sister she should take the nephew and partner up there for a taste of the wild SoCal! I can only imagine the fun to be had in the warmer months.
