Loved how unique and cool the decor was. Amazing views out to the ocean from the balcony. Was equipped with everything you needed.

The back deck is amazing - a picture is 1000 words (see the attached). We really liked the layout of the house too. Nice and roomy without being over the top. Location is nice and close to cafes and beaches. Parking is ample.

If it were my property, the back deck and the living room needs fans (living room DEFINITELY needs fans!). There isn't always a breeze and being up high, it can get a little stuffy on the hotter days without a breeze. The living room gets really hot when the sun is shining in the morning (not an issue if you don't plan to stay there all day). The front and side windows need to be double-glazed and not louvred to keep the noise of the buses and cars driving by out. The birds also like to make a whole heap of noise at 6:00-7:00 am so unless you are dead tired and can sleep through it, it's very annoying (great wake up call to view the awesome sunrise!). The water feature at the front could do with a timer too so that it isn't trickling all night as you can hear it clearly from the front bedroom. This all being said, don't let this take away from the property itself. This is more of a heads up than anything... I am a light sleeper and still got some sleep for the most part. The back deck and relaxing ambience definitely makes up for it.

The location was great, lovely view, loved all the birds at the feeder. Well equipped kitchen, nicely furnished and comfy lounges. The outdoor deck and hammocks were a nice touch. Having fly screens on windows was an excellent thought, as many places don't do this. It was a short walk to the beautiful Emerald Beach, and fabulous walks over the headland.

We found the bathrooms a bit basic, with the en-suite having no door. It was fine for one couple, as we could use the main bathroom for privacy. It would also work ok for families, but not for couples of our senior age.
