We’ve stayed at a lot of rental properties and this was by far the best stocked house we’ve ever been in. The supply of everyday items like toilet paper, spices and laundry detergent made our stay stress free. The location was also amazing! Getting into Chicago was quick and easy, and there were lots of great beaches near by. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

We spent a delightful 2 weeks, swimming every day and enjoying the variable weather. Never too hot. Home is well equipped, the hosts quite attentive. No problems whatsoever.

The house is a short walk to the beach. Chairs, umbrella, cart, and cooler are all provided by the host. Host was quick with responses and checked to make sure everything was in order. Outdoor sand rinsing station was quite helpful. We had a great week.

This house perfectly accommodated our family (2 adults, 5 kids). Beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay! Kids especially loved the ease of access to the beach and the outside rinse station on the side of the house was PERFECT for cleaning off sand! The owner was very responsive with any questions I had. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in the area.

This an awesome home by the lake, and Eddie is a great host that helped make our month long stay as comfortable as possible. The home is spacious and very clean, and we loved the grill and the balcony out back. We came for work and had to extend our stay a couple of times, and Eddie worked with us and made everything very convenient. We will surely rebook this home if we are ever in the area in the future.

We had 5 women for our “ladies wkd” that we’ve been doing for 20 yrs at various locations. The house was perfect and beautiful inside! Best part was the patio on the back!! And walking distance to the beach. Our main objective was to hike the dunes and it was a short 15min drive! Luvd the area and house and wld highly recommend it! This house was amazing! We loved the layout. The house is very clean and all the furniture is very comfortable. I loved the gas stove and the grill! It’s well stocked with everything you might need for your stay. It’s the most clean and comfortable place we have ever stayed in. The alarm system is a plus! The owner was very kind and gave us useful information about best days to go to the beach which is only a small walk away. There is a kayak and beach stuff that we got to use. My family loved it and we got to spend a very nice weekend with our daughter.

Our two families (4 adults + 6 kids 12 and under) had a great stay. The kitchen was well stocked, the grill was really nice! Main bedroom on the first floor, two bedrooms and family room in the fully finished basement. Was great setup for kids to play and watch movies downstairs while adults made food and played dominoes on the first floor. Very short walk to the beach. Plenty of beach stuff for kids and adults. Neighborhood was really nice adults walked in the evening. All in all perfect set up for hanging out with friends and family who like spending the day at the lake!

This unit is in a great location to enjoy Lake Michigan, the beach, and the Indiana Dunes area. We had a fun-filled week with my son's family -- the grandkids were hard to drag away from the lake each day. The house is well-maintained and stocked with just about every convenience for guests that you can imagine. The owner was great to work with every step of the way...

We love this Beach Home with all its amenities for family dinners, barbecues, and cards in the evenings. A short walk to the beach complete with swimming, walking, and watching the beautiful sunsets. The Best!

Ed has a great little property in the Miller Beach neighborhood. The parking and neighborhood space is tight, but everything else is what you would hope from a VRBO on Lake Michigan. The neighbors were friendly, and many seemed to be owners who were year-round or seasonal residents. The property itself is on the top of what what likely once a dune, as sandy soil is seen everywhere. The neighborhood itself it only 2-3 blocks from the western extent of the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. So, if you’re somehow concerned that you’re too close to industrial Gary, don’t be. Once you take roads winding down to he property, you realize you are far from anything that feels urban or industrial at all. The house had all the amenities you’d need for a week stay, including plenty of linens, paper and cleaning products, and nice laundry room. The back deck is a great feature and allows at least a dozen people to sit comfortably and enjoy the outside weather. The grill has two sides and gets plenty hot for cooking whatever you like. The weather was in the lower 90s our whole week there and the AC kept up with comfort with no issue. One of the most positives parts about our experience was that Ed provided his cell phone and we were able to quickly text about any questions or concern. He addressed one issue with the cable TV quickly, and seemed genuinely interested in us having a good stay. Ultimately, if you’re on the fence - don’t be. It was a great property with a simple 1.5 block walk to a soft sand beach where swimming and sunbathing are a snap. Enjoy!

Everything was enjoyable! Check-in and departure were easy. The home was comfy and had everything we needed plus more. Edward contacted us several times to make sure we had all we needed which we did. We enjoyed the use of lounge beach chairs available to us. With the beach just steps away we enjoyed the beautiful sunsets every night.

We rented the house because we are on a mission to see all 63 National Parks. This house is very close to Indiana Dunes National Park. . The National Park isn’t in the best location. We did feel safe at the Miller Beach rental. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The house is hooked to a security system that we used every night. We walked to the beach every day and felt safe. Beach is beautiful but is surrounded by steel plants. I It is not the typical National Park that we have been to but glad we went and could cross it off our list. Home owners are very responsive and check to make sure you have everything you need.

We had a wonderful family reunion with my brother reliving our childhood experiences as we were raised in the house right across the street everything was as written and the house is very complete with anything you could ever ask we definitely will come back

We rented this beach house for a weekend at a volleyball tournament in Merrillville. The house was cute, clean and perfect for 2 families with kids. The walk to the beach is easy and close. Would definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic week at this house for our annual trip to Miller Beach! Honestly, the photos don’t do the house justice—it is a beautiful space and perfect retreat after a long day on the beach. The rooftop on the garage was a great spot to enjoy our meals and we were grateful for the use of the garage for our bikes (and for the comfy beach chairs and toys we found in there!). The walk to the beach was easy, just a few houses away—and, of course, the beach was perfect. We were fortunate to have gorgeous weather all week and we had a blast! We had a wonderful stay in this great house. It was very clean, well stocked and had comfy beds. We really loved the large porch above the garage for eating dinner and visiting. The house is a very short walk to the beach, making its location ideal. Edward was a wonderful host. Highly recommend!

Great location just a few houses from the best kept secret of beaches-Lake Michigan in Miller Beach. Spectacular house. Hiking and bike riding through the Indiana Dunes is easy from this home. Quick drive into SW Michigan and close to Chicago either via train or highway. Nice outside deck for eating and gathering. Plenty of room for a fairly large family or group. Hope to come back.
