beautiful hotel, great location by the lake, friendly staff

we stayed on 2nd floor and people upstairs were so noisy at night with constant heavy footsteps, suitcase wheels rolling back and forth, kids jumping up and down…hard to get a good night sleep

How busy the bar at the restaurant was they only had one bartender and she seemed overwhelmed and not pleasant. But overall I enjoyed my stay!

Location. The lakefront property is located at the Village and walking distance to the restaurants, shops, etc.

The room seems outdated. The bar staff was somehow rude and dishonest. went to the hotel bar to have some drinks and found a family friend. Even though I opened a separate account with my own credit card and picked up all my drinks at the counter/bar, the staff added my drinks to my friends account and charged them. Later the bar attendee charged me once again, and even after I said my account was already paid by my friends, they asked me to sign one drink that was missing on the already paid bill.

Location, Room balcony & View, and Holiday decor

Hotel room was very noisy. Footsteps on floor above us was very loud throughout the stay and there was a metal clanking sound throughout the night, pipes perhaps?

It was beautiful and literally everything you need under one roof. Perfect location beautiful views.

The location and the scenery. The holiday decorations were beautiful. The restaurant, fitness center and lounge area were nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Staff was very friendly, explaining everything you'd have questions about at check-in. Pool, beach, and dock was pleasant but most of the time the outdoor spaces were too family-oriented for a couple just looking to relax.

Hotel is in desperate need of a remodel and room was musty with quite a few bugs in it, including a spider on my pillow. Tons of rowdy kids around the property, which can make for very loud room neighbors.

Walls are very thin , I could hear everything next door and on hallways, restrooms in room had sliding doors that had gaps which was very uncomfortable. Tv only has a few channels.

the value. the added pet fee which was not disclosed until we checked in. 150.00 dollars is outrageous! the wait time to get our room. we arrived at 2:00 we were told our room was not ready. other guests are being checked in, including a group that showed up without reservations and were given a room right away. returned at 3:30 still told room is being worked on but is not ready yet. all other guests arriving are being given rooms. we are told at 4:00 the latest they should have the room ready. 4:10 we are again told the room is not ready but it shouldn’t be too long now. we asked what’s going on and why we are the only ones still waiting wondering if they can just assign us to a room that’s ready now. they indicate we requested a handicap room we indicate we never requested such room. there’s a back and forth between the two front desk reps but eventually we get our room. then we are told there’s a 150.00 pet fee and ask if that’s okay…, well we’ve waited enough at this point and we are already there so you don’t have much of a choice but to pay the fee. this process was frustrating, unprofessional, and expensive. one night in an average room ended up being about 500.00 dollars.

Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was not good at all and extremely pricy considering the bad quality of food. Would not eat there ever again.

The availability of spa and massage service. lake view room.

We don't have the chance to enjoy the resort service. So we basically pay 70$ for nothing. Spa close too early at 7pm. The massage service is overpriced, 50min for 150$??? My biggest complain is that the room has poor sound proof function. I woke up by the sound of heavy footstep from the upper floor and some unknown vibration. The bathroom does not have tub. The hot tub outside is small and too few of them (only 2). We kept waiting until 10:00pm, but still no vacancy. Maybe we just have too high expectation for a 4-star hotel.
