Spacious room and option to have connecting room

The staff were delightful. Someone came to my room several times to help me work the air conditioning, and he came quickly and did a good job. Reception were great too.
The roof top bar was ok, but we asked for spritz, a pretty standard drink, but not on the menu and they cost euro 20 each which we weren’t told. Better places to go.

It location and close proximity to duomo and metro stations.
The roof resturant is not part of the hotel and cannot be reserved for lunch or dinner at the reception. Plus you can nearly see the duomo from it.

When you enter the hotel, you are met by a 6x4 meter screen with flashing advertisements for Bryan Adams' former designer.
Every single time you enter your room, the TV turns on and starts blasting loud commercials - again the same designer. After a few minutes of annoying music and anorectic models zooming in and out of the screen, the TV shifts to commercials *for the hotel you're already in*.
This makes no sense. It's a nice hotel. Why would they make it feel like Ryanair.

The wc as a little bit dirty, and the booking said it had a terrace but it didn’t.

The champagne bar in the lobby is just lovely - and the complimentary crisps were delicious! I love ordering a glass of champagne, and a fresh bottle being opened; it made my day :)

The hotel is near the heart of the city, the room was comfortable, clean and spacious. Especially the bathroom. Very good breakfast service

Great location, next to Duomo. Spacious room and breakfast with many choices.
Don’t even bother making a reservation at The Roof restaurant at the top floor. It has nice view (which you can find in other places too) but nothing else. We arrived at the hotel at 16:00 and we went up on The Roof to see the place and made a reservation for dinner. Around 20:00 i returned to the hotel and asked the receptionist to call The Roof and cancel the reservation because i had fever and was feeling really sick and the lady on the phone was screaming at the receptionist and then asked her to talk to me. She was extremely rude and she was telling me i cant cancel my reservation and that i had to go for dinner even though i explained many times i was feeling bad and had fever. However i have to say that the rest experience of the hotel was great and i would recommend everything apart from The Roof.

Another great stay at the Square, the staff are friendly, the rooms spacious and well maintained. We especially love the bathrooms in this hotel. The breakfast options are great too. The location is just excellent, a quiet enough area but round the corner from the duomo - great walking distance to all main attractions and the metro is just 2 mins to get anywhere else in the city. We will most likely stay here every time we come to Milan.
