Southlands B & B exceeded our expectations. It was very clean. My husband looked forward to waking up to an full English breakfast. It’s located walking distance to Bourton on the Water. This is definitely one of the most beautiful villages in the Cotswolds. I loved getting to the downtown area before the summer crowds invaded. The owners were lovely & very accommodating to our needs. Highly recommend. 👍👍

Just an observation, maybe having guests with dogs they should have a ground floor room . As dog owners ourselves we didn't mind the noise., but others might. But a nice break.

Room had not been hoovered but when asked owner came straight away to hoover & apologised

Breakfast was adequate but not of top quality.The location of the property was excellent.

The size of the room was most disappointing and bore no relation to what was advertised.Dogs should not be allowed in the dining room.The fixtures and fittings were tired and outdated.The shower room was particularly tiny.

Everything about this stay was amazing. The hosts were so attentive, friendly and kind. breakfast was perfect! And their two dogs were lovely. We also couldn’t of asked for a better location and PARKING! would 100% recommend this b&b to anyone looking for a few nights away right in the centre of Bourton on the water. They are also dog friendly and gave our Mimi lots of fuss! not everywhere accepts dogs so it was great that we could take her on holiday with us

Nothing to dislike

Our hosts couldn’t have been nicer and the property was convenient as well as homely. There was ample and safe parking and our room was large and comfortable, with tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was freshly cooked and presented well.

The main issue for us was that many of the other guests had dogs with them, some of which barked during the night, waking us up on several occasions. So if you are a dog owner, this place would be ideal.

Nice hosts & good breakfast. Comfortable room which was refreshed daily. Only a short walk into the centre of Bourton. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

There was very little wardrobe or drawer space in the room as it was mostly being used for storage of a fold up bed & bed linen. It was quite chilly in the room at times as the heating was not always on. The hosts have two dogs which wasn't a problem as they were well behaved but you may need to be aware should you be allergic etc.

Fantastic location as it was about a 5 minute walk into the village. The B&B was great, good size bedroom and bathroom and was clean and tidy. Thank you Chris and Dave.

The location of Southlands was ideal. It was quite butconly a few hundred yards out of the village. This made the stay a relaxing one but ideal for the village
