We enjoyed our stay here. There’s a great view of the ocean and they have a really nice studio with a nice backyard. The hosts were very easy to work with as well. They ask you to run the fan if using the shower and there’s a slight musty smell so I don’t think everyone has followed this. Overall I would return and would recommend to others too.

Property was really amazing. A lot of nice little touches made the stay special.

What a beautiful and charming little cottage! Views from the deck were spectacular! Bed was amazing and comfy, and all you could need for a getaway weekend. Near some amazing hikes, and coastal experiences that was so perfect weather-wise. Will definitely consider coming back! The location was perfect for a beach weekend getaway. I would stay again in a heartbeat. Host was very responsive to any questions. Great place and the bed was beyond comfortable

This studio is so cute and nice! You can tell it’s been recently renovated and all the tile and woodwork is lovely. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was nice. The view from the deck is incredible. Overall our stay was very comfortable and I would recommend this to anyone! You do need to have a car though, it’s not exactly walkable down to town. But parking was easy on the street, and it’s only 5 minutes to get down to the marina area.

There was a mistake within VRBO—not this property owners fault. We were booked for two different properties in the same town—on the same days. When we alerted this property owner that we would be staying at the other property and wanted to negotiate with him for partial refund—there was no response. We would have appreciated getting the cleaning fee back since there was nothing to clean from our non-stay. We completely understand it was not the property owners fault—but that of VRBO—but not answering our messages and not refunding the expensive cleaning fee was not right. Having said that—BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY WITH BEAUTIFUL VIEWS.

It was a very cute little place with all the amenities you could want plus a gorgeous view and a short hop to the water or hiking trails.

I had a wonderful stay and the small but nice single room rental. The view was amazing! Nice linens, Nespresso machine, mini fridge and microwave. The water was nice and hot in the shower and there was many things to watch on the television, if that is your thing. It is a tad bit damp but that is to be expected when you are fog level on a hill side. Lovely stay.

We came to Half moon bay for a week. Was a lovely little room. The amenities were fantastic (ie nesoresso coffee maker). Gorgeous vew to the bay and ocean from the bed! Hiking trails everywhere. Gorgeous outdoor space. Be mindful there are steep steps to and from the suite. Would definitely stay again

this space is nicer than pictured! High quality. Cozy bed. Beautiful views. Beautiful deck space + yard. Friendly host. The place is at the top of the hill, so definitely prepare for a steep walk up and down if you don't have transportation (would recommend Lyft as Uber was very slow/unresponsive). Definitely recommend checking out Quarry Park as there is an entry point near this home - and it's absolutely amazing!

My partner and I live in the bay and needed some time away from city life. This spot was the perfect place to relax and reset over the weekend. Lots of good food is nearby, the views are gorgeous, and we had a great Santa Cruz day trip to boot. Will definitely be coming here again if we can!!!

I was traveling on business to the area and decided to stay in a VRBO unit. The unit is as-described on the VRBO website, and it worked out well for my needs. The owners are good hosts, and I enjoyed my stay. I would stay here again if I come back to this area.

Phil has given wonderful attention to detail to make a small space really usable . Beautiful views out towards the ocean and all around his well tended garden. Nice little touches everywhere . Interesting to look around . Close to bars , restaurants , beaches . We had a wonderful stay !!

My husband and I wanted to run away for a few days, but needed to get some work done, too. The room had everything we needed and was cozy. The garden and patio were fabulous. Our work got done and we were able to explore Half Moon Bay. A genuine win, win!

It was a good place to have as a home base. The backyard was a great place to read a book. The room was a little small. It was clean and have no complaints
