This lovely home has a "cottage" feel to it with bead board throughout and lovely wood floors. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked both with pots, pans, baking dishes, lots of plates and bowls, as well as with spices, sugar, cooking oil, etc. They even provided a basket of assorted treats for us. The lower level stays a little cool so, in the winter, warm pajamas are a good idea.Be prepared, there was a dresser but no place to hang clothes in the master bedroom; a closet but no dresser in the other first floor bedroom --but we loved the house so much, we didn't really mind.

The location was perfect for us. We were attending a daughter's wedding and her home is nearby. The wedding was actually in Cedar Mt. but everything else we needed or attended was in Brevard. My husband and I only had one additional family member, an adult son who flew in from Portland. The home is well furnished, comfortable and definitely has character. It was clean, quiet, and met our needs. I love the cute and comfortable front porch.

We had a great time staying at 100 Thomas street in brevard. Jason and Lisa were extremely helpful before and during our stay. We walked to downtown brevard and had quick commutes to mountain bike trails. We look forward to staying here again next year!

It was one of the best properties we have stayed at. It had everything you could possibly need for your stay. The host was very prompt on answering our text about being able to checkin a little early. Great place and excellent location.

Communication with the host was excellent and quick (practically instant). Within walking distance from downtown. I especially appreciated the features for mountain bikers; wash station, secure storage, and even a work bench and tools if needed. Also, it was better stocked compared to most places I have stayed and provides everything you need to cook meals. Beds were also much more comfortable compared to most other places we have stayed. We will be back!

This adorable, clean cottage is conveniently located near downtown Brevard and central to outdoor activities in Pisgah, Dupont Forest, and surrounding areas. There is so much to do, we definitely want to come back!

The property was all we had hoped it would be for our mini-family reunion. It's in a lovely part of town, convenient to town central, and was just lovely. Furnishings were perfect, appliances modern, and just very homey. My sister lives in Brevard, and highly recommends the area as quiet, safe of course, and surrounded by charming Old Brevard homes. Best VRBO we've stayed in in the last decade. The hosts are responsive, cordial, full of good local suggestions.

The house had everything you could possibly need, plus extras especially in the kitchen-nothing was overlooked. It also had enough space for the five of us to hang out, but also have privacy. The location is excellent-a very short walk into town and the Brevard Music Center and w/in 30 minutes from Gorges, Pisgah and Dupont. I would recommend staying here and would come back.

We had an amazing week in Brevard, all because of our stay at this meticulously clean, pleasantly decorated and comfortable home.. As soon as we pulled into the spacious driveway, we knew we had made the right choice! The owners were very easy to communicate with before our arrival and during the week. Check in was simple, and they responded to any inquiries in a very timely manner. The cozy front porch welcomed us into a warm and well equipped home which suited our family needs. The downstairs area offered the teens their privacy as well as a fun space to play games. The kitchen was stocked with all necessities plus some! Beds were comfy and linens were plentiful! We loved all of the wild life around the home and each night was quiet and peaceful sitting on the front porch! Country feel but yet steps from downtown Brevard! The house was close to Pisgah, DuPont, The Gorges, and less than an hour to Ashville! So much to do in and around Brevard as well!! We will definitely be back to this vrbo again! Thanks Landrums!

My wife, kids and I couldn't be more pleased with the property! great little mountain house, in the perfect location to walk/ride to town, lumber district, Bracken Mtn, and even Pisgah. Great porch to sit out at night, or have a fire inside (when the weather hits!). Love this place!

My husband is an avid mountain biker, meaning Pisgah and Dupont were must hits. While he is off pedaling, the rest of us walked and wandered around the super close downtown, drove than walked to some waterfalls, plenty of good eats nearby. Kitchen is well stocked (even managed to find a mixer and cookie sheets to make cookies one day). The driveway was enough for 3+ cars off the street. With two TV areas, late night down time was easy. The owners have thought of everything---we came prepared with everything and found ample amounts of extras just in case we forgot something; even then, the grocery store is within 2 miles. I have not a single complaint about this property or the owners; everything exceeded expectations.

My family and I had a wonderful time at the house. The owners really thought of every amenity guests could need and then some. Communication with owners was smooth and timely. The decor is modern Boho with a cool vintage vibe. The kitchen was well equipped and the 7 of us slept well in the 5 beds/3 bedrooms. The neighborhood is super fun with sooo much within walking distance. We even had a white squirrel visit the yard daily. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We love Brevard

The cottage was perfect for our visit. In this case it was my husband and myself, but there was plenty of room to spread out if others had visited us (a second bedroom on the main floor. The downstairs had a really nice bedroom, bath and den area as well as couch, fireplace and TV. ) We especially liked the Master Bedroom on the main floor. The front porch is quaint and welcoming. The house is very well done with nice touches for guests. The kitchen has all one needs for cooking and a gas range. The owners have made it easy for visitors to feel welcome and have space to unpack to settle in whether for a few days or longer. We spent 10 days and thoroughly enjoyed the cottage. Plus it is convenient to town - while we didn't walk to town, it would be easy to do. We did walk to the Lumberyard for a lunch and dinner. Parking is simple with the u-shaped drive way. We were thrilled to see the white squirrels in the yard. Overall it was a terrific stay for us.

This was our first experience with Vrbo and this house far exceeded our expectations! It was so comfortable and gave the 7 of us plenty of room to spread out. The front porch was lovely for morning coffee and it was fabulous having a full kitchen and washer/dryer. It was easy to walk downtown for shopping and ice cream. We would certainly stay again!
