The pool was dirty and very over crowded on the weekend… didn’t like you walked through the restaurant to get to the pool… need better signs for outdoor bathrooms

The restaurant was amazing. The nicest staff in the whole place worked at the restaurant!! The pool was cute, not a problem finding seating around it. Pool was clean!

No walking trails in the area of the hotel. Needed more luggage carts! Seems like most of the HOTEL guests use them. But there surely needs more as they are always taken.

It was a great location for our adventures to the local outdoor hikes and sites

Our sliding bathroom door was broken, promised to send maintenance and after 3 reminders from 4-8pm, they never sent anyone nor acknowledged their failure, outside of a passing "sorry" at checkout. Fire pit was out of order (an amenity we planned to use) Meal in restaurant served incorrect, server disappeared and I had to find a manager to help. Advertising hype; overpromised and underdelivered.

Poor staff that wouldn’t address noise concerns until 3 am coming from unattended children every night of stay…

very clean property , close to everything , nice lake view , coming from Florida it was a nice change of scenery , room was very clean .

The lodge is my "go to" hotel in Clemson and I love the rooms, dining area and proximity to the school

On my visit this weekend, the TV internet connection did not work both days. The hotel said it was due to their provider. This would have been good to know and I could have brought my Fire stick. The family had planned time in the room to watch the Clemson basketball game and a movie -and couldn't.

I love the atmosphere as soon as you walk into the lobby. You automatically feel at home with its friendly staff there to greet you. The rooms are always clean and the views are exceptional!!!!

I can’t find anything that I don’t like about this property!

The property was beautiful and shopping was so close we walked there. The fireplace area was so charming, we sat there several times and had drinks.

Coffee bar needs to have real cream or milk. (not the prepackaged kind)

The room was really great. Everything about the hotel room was great.

The female hostess on Thursday night, Dec 8, was not friendly. She seated us in the corner of the restaurant; myself and my parents who are white, and my mixed kids. We sat waiting for someone to offer water to us and take our order. The hostess never told anyone we were there even when we asked for water after 15 minutes of waiting. After another 5 or 10 minutes of waiting and no one coming to serve us we left the restaurant because we were hungry and had traveled almost 21.5 hours to SC. The hostess remained seated at the reception area of the restaurant the entire time. I've never been treated so poorly at a restaurant. Unfortunately they lost our business during our 4 day stay at the hotel.
