My stay in Casa Teka was amazing and a great surprise. I begin saying that the infrastructure its something incredible, totally inspired in Tulum Vibe emanates a Holistic Retreat for your well-being through the "private" Cenote, the common areas, the rooms and the eco-trails inside the building that are an absolute inspiration to refresh your mind and spirit.
About the service and amenities nothing was forgotten, including what I thought that was not included: Free Coffee/Expresso/Tea..., Fresh Water, Bicycles, Restaurant Discount (20%), Beach Towels, Taxi (with relevant Discount), Yoga mats, personalized customer service, ... and even more, Casa Teka its located in the best location of Tulum (Zona Hotelera).
I cannot miss to mention the friendliness and kindness of the entire team. The hosts Tânia and Emanol were all the time available to help you with all your needs, they never missed with their availability and attention. Carlos and Marguerito became our buddies during our stay in Casa Teka, the 1st supporting us in the bar & restaurant and the 2nd driving us on our forays into the city, we had good moments of conversation with both without ever being intrusive, nevertheless all the staff are so friendly and helpful in a way that its very difficult to experience, I must leave a special word for the other teams members such as: Cleaning, Maintenance, Restaurant, Receptionists/Gate Keepers,... I can only say Thank You for making my stay in Casa Teka happier.
Nothing! I cannot say anything bad.

The property was extremely unique and very well taken care of. It was tucked away from the beach and we felt very safe. The private cenote was fantastic as well. Tania and her staff were amazing!
We did not have any complaints about this property whatsoever

All of the staff is sooo very pleasant, kind and helpful. The room was beautiful, confortable and clean. The location is great if you want to party at Tulum beach. The private cenote is the cherry on the top. Great value for money at an expensive place life Tulum Hotel area!

Room was nice & the bed was comfortable.
Pretty much everything. Loud music until 4/5am. Wanted to reduce our stay because we couldn’t sleep at night, manager refused to let us leave. The hotel has a connection to Bagatelle Beach Club to access the beach. This was awful, not allowed to take a bottle of water in, loud music, hounded by staff, very unpleasant. It does have the Cenote which is nice but it’s also free for the public to access. Treated like criminals every time you come in/ out the hotel. Would not recommend. Tried to escalate with booking.com who refused to help.

We were celebrating a bachelorette. The receptionist Tania did a great job to help us celebrate and make the bride feel special. She was very helpful with making reservations for us at beach clubs and restaurants. We felt safe and taken care of.

very nice layout, comfortable beds, nice cenote
the guest policy charging you for any time of visitor, the security following you around the property, and the stairs on the exterior of the property were “tricky”

location, cute tree-house like feel, Staff were awesome and helpful, especially Raul! the entry to Begatelle without cover or minimum charge was a plus.
their few rooms overlook to each other so no privacy! they didn’t have hand-held rinsing hose in the shower or restroom just waterfall showers! you can’t flush anything in the toilets! there is a bad smell in the backyard and patio probably from the sewers draining their backyard! the sewer is also likely leaking into the Cenote! I got severe GI issues after swimming in that cenote, so I advice not to. they charge for pretty much everything in the minibar.

The property was in an amazing location. And there was security guarding the entrances at all hours that monitored who came in and out of the property which made us feel extremely safe. The staff was beyond helpful especially Mishel who went above and beyond to make sure we had the most seamless, fun and easy trip we could have ever imagined. The rooms were much more spacious than expected and the common areas were so beautiful. Mishel was able to book us transportation, dinner reservations and even went out of his way to invite us to a party at night. This hotel exceeded my expectations and I will definitely come back to Casa Teka for my next stay in Tulum. There was even a private cenote in the back with a restaurant, an amazing coffee shop on site and surrounded by the most beautiful stores. I can't thank you enough Mishel, thank you thank you thank you!!
Truly nothing.

Best hidden gem in Tulum Beach. PERFECTLY located in the center of the beach strip. Huge rooms, AC works perfectly, and it’s located on a cenote!

On the day of our check-out we asked if we could take the bicycles out for a ride until 3pm. Wasn't possible. Very strict rules.

the hotel is very beautiful, the staff is so nice!
it’s located near good restaurants and beach clubs.
they don’t really have a swimming pool, you can use the one at baggatell (next side of the road), but baggatell will try always to change you.

Its typical autentic mexico style hotel. in the middle of jungle, oposit of the sea, very good location, just across the road you find everything. you have free entry to bagatelle beach club, without minimum spend, so its perfect, because its really beautiful and luxury there. staff was very friendly and they try to help with everything. room is nice for two adults, nice jungle view. relaxing terase, some discounts for breakfasts, but around we found many quality breakfast places. if you come by car you have to tell them before and they park it so better while you stay you dont use your car.
well, this hotel need only few small details and would be perfect. example cosmetics like shower gel was not good quality. we been in hotels around and their cosmetics was very food quality. so lets say for price of this hotel, sure they should think about it. other thing, we were 3 person and when they cleaned our room they didnt give new shower gel etc. also very bad. 3 people for 3 days imposible. in reception always someone was missing i mean sometimes i couldnt find anyone. coffe machine - why they have nespresso in room in they dont have nespresso caps?? this is really a shame. out of room there is one big old coffe machine which doesnt work well. so many times we wanted make coffe but we couldnt. all this small details and much more make points down and its a pitty because its not difficult to fix. other thig is - too much mosquitos everywhere. inside outside. without spray you canot exist. but this is probably in all mexico. other thing - hotel room its absolutly not for 3 person. they present it like 2 bedrooms apartment, but actually its extremly small, upstairs is just one small bed- not for 2 adults, and nothing else. downstairs is one big bed for couple. sure its not for 4 but not even for 3 adults. because that 3. person has no privacy nothing. so maximum for parrents and one child maybe ok.

The staff was super helpful and set up dinner for us, and a ride.
The cenotes right on the property was amazing and way better than being on the beach. It was super private but as soon as you walk out of the hotel there are plenty of restaurants, shops, etc so you can avoid driving if you want.

room was huge! alot of space, very comfortable, loved the cenote on the site, we went there everyday to swim and relax. Great location, walking distance from Taboo, jungle gym, close trip to the Mayan ruins.

We loved that they had a cenote on site. The bed was comfortable. The manager and security were nice. If you want to be in the centre of the action on the strip, it’s a good location. we loved the access we got to the beach club, We had a lot of fun there and the service at the beach club was impeccable. We received a small gift at checkout to thank us for our stay which was a nice touch. the coffee machine at the top common area is a cool touch.
Unfortunately I was hoping to get a room with a nice view of the tree tops, our view was not nice at all as it looked onto the walk way and common areas so we had to keep our curtains closed for the majority of the stay if we wanted any privacy.
The construction of the hotel had our room floor at a bit of an angle which was strange and our door could not close without a gap at the top. The power cut a few times during our stay. We woke up boiling in the night and it was a very uncomfortable sleep without the aircon. The shower stopped working several times in the stay as well. It was quite frustrating especially when it cut when I had shampoo in my hair. You just have to stand and wait for the pressure to start up again. When we spoke to the lady at front desk about the aircon or shower not working, she was not very kind or apologetic about it and acted like it was something normal we should accept. On checkout we told the manager and he explained all hotels on the strip run off generators. So if you stay on the strip, expect to experience power cuts and disruptions in the water pressure.
the centre which I thought was exclusive to the hotel has many people there that don’t stay at the hotel. when we went, all the beds and tables were taken by non hotel guests. i told the manager and he said you are able to reserve a bed for the following day. that’s something to keep in mind. i think it would be a lot nicer if it was just for the guests. we decided instead of reserving for the next day to rather go experience the beach club which I highly recommend.
due to this hotel being on the strip, we also experienced a lot of noise disturbance. there was noise throughout the night which made it very difficult to relax and sleep. i would not recommend this hotel for people looking for a peaceful stay or for light sleepers.
whilst this hotel had its benefits, unfortunately we won’t return. for us it was not worth the money we spent.

the property is soo cute and perfect location other then a little noisy at night.
my bed felt like i was sleeping on wood. beds not comfortable at all. but i had a bed that was in the floor and think they brought it in specially for our stay

Everything! Great location in the hotel zone, the design of the hotel gives you a real Tulum vibe, the rooms are big and well designed. There is a lovely cenote on site which is free to use, you also get free access to Bagatelle & Vagalume beach clubs which is another bonus. I also like that you have access to the bikes. There is an amazing roof top view of the Forest/jungle which is beautiful when the sun is setting. The main host/receptionist Pili is so lovely & helpful, she helped with our transfer back to Tulum and is always available via WhatsApp if you need her.
My only fault is that there is only an overhead shower and no shower caps provided, so if like me you don’t want to wash your hair every time you shower it is a bit annoying.
