Really lovely house with stunning view. The interior and outdoor space are both very stylish and cozy. Each bedroom has an AC unit which works well. Kitchen was well-equipped. The host left us some bread and wine as a welcome gift which was very nice. His mother also brought some eggs and a tasty dessert halfway through the week. The location was great in a quiet village in the middle of the island. It is well-situated to get to Pigadia, several beautiful beaches, and even remove parts of the island like Olymbos. You definitely need a car. There were also a lot of very cute cats around! Our tip: buy a bag of kibble so they don't bother you for your dinner;)

It is a bit cramped for 5 (or 6) adults because there is only one bathroom and only two lounge chairs by the pool (there are other seats so this may not be a problem if not everyone is into sunbathing). We think it would be perfect for two couples, three singles, or a family with two adults and a few kids. There are two separate bedrooms plus one loft with a double bed above the kitchen. Finding the house upon arrival was a bit challenging. There is a sign with "Villa Anastasia" at the turnoff but it is easy to miss in the dark. Once you have gone down the turnoff you park your car there and take the little footpath by the sign with Agia Sophia(?) on it. We figuered it out, but it would be helpful to give clear instructions before arrival. A final small thing: the wifi could be improved, as it was quite slow and did not reach some of the bedrooms. There is a tourist tax of €3 per person/night that you need to pay in cash.

The property has the most amazing view, from which we never got tired. Moreover the house is just excellent. Good facilities and an awesome pool! Besides the owners are very friendly and kind people!

Quiet and cosy location in the mountains. Lovely villa and outside space with marvellous views. We loved it (2 adults and 2 teenage daughters). The owners helped us renting a car to a good price - we had it delivered to the airport when we arrived and we could return in in the port when we left Karpathos with the ferry. Super flexible and easy!

Very cosy villa with everything you need, 3 bedroms with separate AC. Kitchen is full, also a dishwasher. Pool awesome with sea and mountin wiew. Washing machine is provided. The communication with the host was also great... I can recomad for everybody...

We stayed for 12 days in Villa Anastasia in May 2023. It is such a beautiful house and the view is magnificent. The house has everything you could wish for incl. the pool. The owners of the house are so friendly and always responsive and quick when you have questions. The house is in Volada, where you have a nice taverna and you can walk from there to the mountain. With the car it is close to beautiful beaches and only 15 min drive to Pigadia. We fel in love with Karpathos and villa Anastasia. We definitely come back. Thank you so much Manolis and Anna you are very special people. ❤️

A wonderful retreat with breathtaking views in the middle of the mountains of Karpathos. An almost 200 years old house, luxuriously and modernly renovated by the host. Quiet location and perfect starting point for hikes and excursions. In the neighboring village there are two small taverns and also the island capital is quickly accessible by car. The pool is fed with cold mountain spring water and allows a quick cooling even in Greek summer heat. The accommodation offers everything you need: fully equipped kitchen, coffee maker, 4 TVs, 3 air conditioners, a BBQ grill, a spacious roof terrace as well as many lovely details and places to relax. The hosts are enormously helpful and fully live up to the reputation of Greek hospitality ("Philoxenia"). Simply perfect.
