Room was upgraded. Bed comfy and extra pillows and blankets provided. Also the heated bathroom aas a bonus. Suits a longer than 1 night stay. Location is great being right in the heart of Hahndorf.

Car parks close to the room were taken and there was no one on site for checking in.

Location could not have been better. Communication with owners was great. No complaints.

Bathroom abit dated. No sink in kitchen area.

Air conditioning was not hot enough, was cold in the room. It was on 30 degrees but didn't warm up the room, just warm air came out. It was too late to contact staff.

Location

Easy walking distance to a vast array of shopping and eateries in this historic German town. The rooms were well appointed and staff helpful. There was also very little street noise, which was surprising considering how close we were to the main road.

Unfortunately there was no way to fill the kettle except by glasses of water from the bathroom as the kettle did not fit under the tap. We felt that this was a bit disappointing, but also realise it is a design fault and cannot be fixed easily.

It’s a good and convenient location for where I needed to be the next day

Very impersonal - checked in by text both times I have stayed. This time I was told my room number and had to spend time looking for it in the dusk - made it difficult to find. I don’t mind being checked in by text but directions need to be more explicit. Some bizarre communication before I arrived - I requested a double bed and got a message telling me that if I wanted two beds I would face to contact them by phone and there would be a cost. I also felt it was very overpriced for facilities - I travel about 30 weeks a year and know very few places that don’t provide tissues or basic toiletries - both hotels that are much more expensive and much cheaper. Overall came across as budget at a higher price than I should have to pay for budget - and not very welcoming either.
