Great little place in the centre of town to stay.Ample parking as its up behind a pub but no noise. Clean,comfortable and roomy. The pool is heated. A great choice of places to eat.

Single bed was uncomfortable.

I like that there was no easy signage so we had to drive up and down the busy main street of Hahndorf several times to find the tiny driveway.

I'm not sure the floors were ever cleaned or vacuumed. There was crumbs or fluff on the floor when we arrived, showing they hadn't bothered to vacuum since the last person. My child spilt some water and I used a towel to clean it up... the towel came back brown. There was specks of blood on two of the four pillows. I left them aside on the couch with the blood showing. The next morning when we came back to the room, all the pillows were back on the bed with the blood facing down. The floors CLEARLY had STILL not been vacuumed.

We love everything about The Lodge. Every time we go to Hahndorf we stay there. Absolutely love it. The only negative thing is that WiFi is not very good at all. I had to use my mobile data most of the time. Other than that all is good. Thank you. Catherine and Peter Robinson 💕

The WiFi needs something done about it asap !!!!!!!!!! That's the only negative thing.

Excellent location close to the main part of town, but off the street so quiet. Wonderful helpful staff - we arrived late on a cold evening and heaters were on for us.

The paved entrance into the accommodation is a little tricky to find especially when it is busy.

The location, once you find it, is right in the middle of Hahndorf....very convenient. Very comfortable and plenty of off street parking. Right across the road from the Hahndorf Inn.

Staff efficient but not overly friendly. Bit of a challenge to actually find the place. Haus has more than one accommodation locations and not clearly marked...surprisingly.

Only place I have stayed I. recent times around the world where they charge you for bottled water. also the exhausted fan in the bathroom sounded like a jet plane taking off.
