Confortable et spacieux avec une vue immense, Mountain Ridge Cabin est une charmante maison de 2 étages pouvant accueillir jusqu'à huit personnes. L'emplacement est essentiel lorsque vous recherchez votre lieu de vacances idéal. À Mountain Ridge, vous ne serez qu'à quelques kilomètres de l'accès à la rivière Tuckasegee, à environ 30 minutes de destinations telles que Cherokee, Bryson City et Cashiers, et à 45 minutes d'Asheville. The house was very nice and had tremendous views, plenty of space for all of us and everything we could need. The one issue we had was with the wifi/tv. The instructions on the email did not match the instructions in the house. The wifi only worked for a couple hours during the 2 days. We couldn't find the router although the instructions said (located in the second bedroom??). Directv is on the tv but not active :(

My family rented this home to attend WCU graduation. Location was perfect, very close to WCU. Home was exactly as described and had a lot of space. My family was able to spread out a bit and not be crowded. Kitchen was extremely well stocked with just about every kitchen gadget you could want. The only issue we ran into was finding it the first time. It is very much at the top of the hill on a one lane road, arrive before dark if possible. We would certainly recommend this home and would stay again if we were in the area.

The cabin was perfect for our family of 8. Lots of stuff to keep the kid occupied with the pool table and closet full of board games. The only issues we had were that the TV’s hard a hard time streaming anything (which we kind of figured might be the cases with how remote the cabin was), and the crazy steep and narrow road that led to the cabin. The road can only fit one vehicle at a time and was really twisty so if we ever came across another car going the other way (lucky this did not happen to us during our stay) there would literally be nowhere to go in some places as there were drops and rock walls on each side of the road. It was scary to drive during the day and terrifying when dark. Especially since there are not street light.

We spent a magnificent week here. We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The cabin was so clean and comfortable. The deck and the Mountain View's were beautiful. We welcomed spring with wild turkeys walking by and lots of fishing. We appreciated all the extra touches in the cabin that made our stay so nice.

We were in town for a WCU graduation and needed a place to stay. The home was very clean and well equipped. We were able to make dinner for 5 people as the kitchen had everything we needed. The huge deck had beautiful Mountain views with comfortable rocking chairs. This place would be great for a much longer stay and would certainly accommodate many more guest.

Pretty view
We enjoyed our second stay at Mountain Ridge cabin. We like the fact that the cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood that feels very remote but is near many of the things we like to do in the area, as well as restaurants, shops, and grocery stores. The cabin is
comfortable and cozy, and the views are really pretty.

My family of 6 loved this cabin! It's an older cabin but to me that makes it even better. The views were amazing, the game room was so much fun, and the seclusion was perfect! My kids even asked if we could stay here on our next visit. The drive up is not steep at all which is a plus. Only thing that may concern those with larger vehicles is the road up to the cabin is extremely narrow, one vehicle only, and no where to pull over so you have to back down that narrow winding road which can be a little nerve wracking. Completely worth it though! We will definitely be back!

The good things about the house were, the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and had a nice big table to accommodate everyone, the family room was comfortable, an the view was beautiful. The reason for our rating is that there were dead bugs all over the floors downstairs, the refrigerator leaked water inside and everything that was in the drawer was ruined, the WiFi was very spotty and it was difficult to watch TV because it kept freezing, the kitchen faucet was about fall off and the light over the stove didn't work and we were very disappointed when we tried to play pool because there was a rip in the middle of the table and the slate was broken under the lining and you couldn't play! Also the bunk is not a full on the bottom it is a twins!

You cannot beat the view. The only downside was there was only 1 TV for 3 bedrooms. The one downstairs wasn't hooked to anything. We loved having a Smart TV in the living room. It was all well stocked and the beds were comfortable. Loved the area.

The view was wonderful! The cabin was equipped with plenty of cookware, dishes and glassware which we appreciate since we eat most meals in.
The only complaint I would have is the carpet is in need of a good cleaning as is the upholstery on the sofas in the living room.

We loved our stay here. This adorable cabin has curb appeal—and then you walk down the wrap-around porch, and the view is even better than the photos! We loved spending time sitting out there. We were surprised by a porch swing and a Hobbit House, lol, too.

There were many dead millipedes in the basement, but we called, and they were taken care of immediately. Having lived on acreage ourselves, we know this sometimes happens, particularly after treating (which was the case here), so it was ok. Some more appeared the next morning, but we just vacuumed them up instead of calling. No big deal.
Besides, the basement is a great, spacious area with a pool table. Our “kids” (age 24, 21, 19, and 15) particularly enjoyed it down there.

This was our first ever experience with VRBO and we were very pleased. The cabin is very nice and just as described and pictured on the website. We had a small problem with bees (which turned out to be the non-stinging kind) around the entrance when we checked in, but we were able to use an alternate entrance, and when we called to report the issue, the issue was quickly taken care of. Everything worked great, and we very much enjoyed our stay. Note that the road up to the cabin is truly one-lane, so be prepared to back up or pull into the brush if you encounter a car going the opposite way (this happened only once in our 2-day stay). This was a small price to pay for the seclusion and excellent view, including the night sky and fireflies that I hadn't seen in years.
