The location was perfect for day trips around the algarve. Staying with Maria is like staying with your grandma. She is so sweet. She even did our laundry. Would highly recommend

My husband and I stayed for 6 nights at the end of September. Maria greeted us with her huge smile and showed us around the property. She lives in the top half and the rental is on the ground level with a delightful courtyard for dining and lounging. There is space for a small car to park in front. The property has a terrific view of the ocean from the courtyard and it's within walking distance of the main beach and town with many shops and restaurants. Even a small grocery store about a block away. The house, although simply furnished, has everything you'll need and was extremely clean. We cooked many meals there. Maria was a delight and even though she doesn't speak much English, we were able to communicate with lots of gestures. It was sunny and in the 80's every day, but cooled off at night with no need for the air conditioner. There is a washing machine, but no dryer. We did as many locals do and hung our laundry on the drying rack outside. There was only 1 roll of TP and paper towels. Everything else like plastic wrap, napkins, condiments, clothes detergent, toiletries, etc. will need to be purchased at the store. We loved our time spent there and hope to return one day. Maria , Marco & Helena we're amazing people to be with , they go over & beyond to make you feel welcome .Very much recommend to stay with them , minutes from the beach & cave tours , the village was not too busy , was fantastic !!

Absolutely wonderful location, close to beaches, restaurants and the town. Maria the host was so attentive and caring, making sure our needs were met.

Lovely, well equipped apartment, spotlessly clean and in a perfect location. Very quiet but with perfect access to town centre with the added bonus of sea views. Only negative for us was the hard bed.

Loved our stay in this beautiful spot. The house was away from the noise in the village, with views of the ocean. The host was beyond accommodating even with language differences.

We loved Maria’s apartment. The location was great and she is a wonderful host. She goes above and beyond to make the stay pleasant. The hot water heater was broken when we got there and Maria had someone come fix it immediately. Maria came in and tidied up while we out enjoying the beach each day. She even did some dishes and our laundry. My only note would be that the beds are firmer than we are used to and she prefers guests not to use the AC at night as the unit is loud. We were there during a hot stretch so it would get a little warm at night. Not a big deal. We would definitely stay with Maria again.

This apartment represented exactly what I was looking for: location, proximity to the beach and services. Maria Jose is a wonder Hostess and she kept the apartment very clean and tidy. She was always ahead of all our wishes. Thank you for a wonderful stay in your house.

This was close to the ultimate holiday experience. An excellent apartment for two, well kept and in perfect distance from the beach and stores. The host, Maria jose, did everything in her mind to help us feel comfortable and happy during our stay. Her son even picked us up and drove us to the railway station upon arrival and departure. We came in late in the evening and she had arranged for some evening meal for us since the grocery shops were closed. She even came in with some home made biscuits during our stay. Maria is a fantastic host - from the start to the finish she made us feel so welcome. Had fresh oranges on arrival from her garden and everything was spotless. The location is perfect, only a short walk to the beach and many good restaurants and shops. Will definitely be booking to stay here again.

This was a fabulous stay. We had originally booked the Trivoli 5 star resort but chose to stay here instead and are so thankful we did. Beautiful secluded and quiet beach across the road, walking distance (10 min) to main beach with shops and restaurants. Grocery store 5 minute walk up the hill. Absolutely perfect stay with ocean view from the terrace where we ate breakfast every morning. Maria is a wonderful host, and we highly recommend this property. We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay in Carvoeiro very much. Maria's apartment is perfectly located - close to town, restaurants and a grocery store. It was very clean and well equipped. We really enjoyed the patio out front when the weather cooperated. Maria was most pleasant and available if needed. Highly recommend.

The photos on VRBO don’t do this property justice - We choose it for its location as we wanted to be close to town but we were so surprised on arrival at the beautiful view of the Atlantic from our huge terrace. Inside is very charming and very well equipped. Maria is a delight and looks after you like family. A steep hill to town but worth every step!

Owner was a wonderful gramma. Did not speak English and address was hard to find but it all worked out

The house is one of the best vacation rentals we ever stayed in. The house is in a quiet street but close to the center with all the restaurants and the shops. Although the house is dated, it is very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed cooking our dinners and eating at the front yard watching the sunset. Maria, the owner, is very kind and helpful. We would be happy to come back in the future.

Property was spotless and Maria made you feel welcome on our arrival. Nothing was to much trouble for her . The apartment was located out of the center so there was no hustle and bustle, but with good restaurants nearby and a good selection in the town center which was about 10 minutes walk away. Very pleased with the accommodation as you were made to feel at home by the owners

My wife and I just loved staying at Maria’s wonderful home that was so set up to enjoy the sunny weather we experienced in Carvoeiro. We will always have great memories of enjoying lunch on the wonderful ground floor Terrace overlooking the ocean. There is everything you need -dining table with umbrella, Sun loungers. clothes rack to dry your clothes in the sun.‘s, beach towels etc.. And then there is lovely Maria who pops in from time to time to make sure you’re enjoying your stay if you’re lucky you might get some cake as we did as it was our husbands birthday. The town itself is just a short walk down the hill up the hill there is a convenient grocery store. Perfect apartment in a postcard town we enjoyed it immensely.
