Spend the first part of December 2022 in a much beloved, three-bedroom, two-bathroom house, two blocks from Walnut Square and the Gourmet Ghetto, close to the shops and restaurants of Solano Avenue, and a short drive or bike ride to UC Berkeley campus.

Located on the first crest of the Berkeley Hills, the house is nestled in the quiet, safe neighborhood of Live Oak Park, which is composed of owner-occupied single family homes. On a fogless afternoon one can see the San Francisco skyline and the Golden Gate Bridge from the living room and front deck.

The house has hardwood floors and oriental rugs throughout. As well, the house is furnished with a piano, a computer, high-speed WiFi, one smart TV (+ a small flatscreen TV), and two Sonos speakers as well as two Alexa smart speakers,

The house comfortably sleeps a couple with two children. The upstairs level bedrooms have queen-sized Oysterbeds, and the downstairs (main level) bedroom, a brand-new trundlebed. The master bedroom gives onto the quiet, east-facing back garden, and has a smart TV connected to Xfinity (Comcast cable).

The 'house computer' looks out on the rose and vegetable garden from the breakfast room. It is also the location of the WiFi-enabled color printer/scanner/flat-screen photocopier.

This house is destined for a couple or a family with one or two children (although two French families, each with three young children, have rented for 2-3 months with no problems). Tenants may invite one or two visitors, to stay for short periods.

Pets are negotiable.

NOTE: THE HOUSE IS AVAILABLE FOR UP TO 3 WEEKS THIS JULY/AUGUST, PLUS SEPTEMBER 15 THROUGH DECEMBE 15.
