«Elizabeth on Crown» est un joyau colonial et est la quintessence de Harbour Island, en plein cœur de Dunmore Town. Le cadre en bois d'origine «pin Abaco» enveloppe toujours ses murs extérieurs, un hommage à son architecture loyaliste. Le chalet a été restauré avec un luxe moderne et équipé d'un mélange éclectique de dis et dat, d'anciennes et de nouvelles œuvres d'art local, de meubles réutilisés et de lits artisanaux.
VOTRE MAISON ET VOTRE ESPACE
La cuisine a tous les appareils en acier inoxydable, avec des ustensiles de cuisine et des ustensiles de cuisine. Vous trouverez ici un ensemble complet de laveuses et sécheuses pour retirer le sable et le sel et un simple garde-manger pour ranger les marchandises. La table du dîner et le bar sec sont un peu plus.
L'espace de vie est conçu pour les jours paresseux. Asseyez-vous et lisez l'un de nos livres choisis par la bibliothèque, ou regardez vos émissions Netflix préférées sur notre téléviseur intelligent ou explorez la boutique Apple Music complète sur le haut-parleur intelligent, c'est à vous.

Il y a deux chambres en bas, partageant une salle de bain Jack and Jill. La suite principale est à l'étage juste après la chambre des enfants (pour accéder à la chambre principale, vous traverserez la chambre des enfants).

Les salutations en soirée et les dîners aux chandelles sous les étoiles, se réunissent avec la famille, les vieux amis, les nouveaux amis et allument le grill.
L'ILE
Harbour Island ne fait que 5 km de long et offre pourtant certains des meilleurs souvenirs de vacances. Vous pouvez passer des heures sur notre plage de sable rose à vous prélasser au soleil ... quand vous avez eu à peu près assez de soleil, vous pouvez prendre un verre dans l'un des bars de l'hôtel juste en haut de la dune ou transporter vos propres désaltérants avec les vins locaux et les débits de spiritueux ou le marché des aliments Pigly wigly. Une fois que vous vous êtes réhydraté, montez sur la plage au trot avec Marty. Leurs noms sont Star Boy, Tex, Briland et Princeton.
Des boutiques, des pubs originaux et amusants et des cabanes à poulet parsèment l'île. La gastronomie ici n'a pas de limite, alors créez votre liste et faites-la. Visitez le «Lone Tree» à Girls Bank et essayez une salade de conque pendant que vous y êtes. Rejoignez nos vendeurs au marché de producteurs le mercredi et assurez-vous de visiter la bibliothèque, c'est un spectacle historique… Le ‘Sir George W. K Roberts Public Library »est la deuxième bibliothèque la plus ancienne des Bahamas.
Au port, vous pouvez louer un petit bateau pour profiter de l'air salé et frais de la baie, du jet ski, du paddle board, du tuba, du bonefish ou du poisson pour les vivaneaux et les mérous en charter.

I tried to write a detailed description but apparently they limit the characters so I’ll have to Cliff’s note this one. In short…
The house looks great in pictures and it is old and cute. BUT…upon arrival I noticed the entire foundation is sagging and not level. To the point that we were joking about it. There was even one part that literally felt like you could jump right through the floor. I thought it was just because it was old but we found out on the 3rd night of our 4 night stay that it was in fact infested with termites.
After a big rain we came back from dinner and the entire second floor was flooded with thousands of termites flying and crawling on everything. We had to have our upstairs guests sleep on the couch downstairs, and even there they were coming through the ceiling light fixtures and baseboards. Gem, the property manager, gave a lackluster excuse that it’s the islands and there are bugs after rain but this wasn’t a random mosquito or two. The house is literally falling apart.
We could only use 2 out of 3 bedrooms and when I asked Gem for a partial refund she ignored my request. I contacted VRBO and they reached out and she ignored that as well. This house is literally falling apart and is infested with termites. It’s disgusting and not safe. Stay away at all costs and understand that if you do choose to stay here and there is a problem, the owner will completely ignore you and do nothing about it. SCAM!!!!!

The house is very darling and located near everything. We did hear the music from Daddy Ds but came prepared with earplugs. They had a lovely welcome basket and cold beers in the frig which was really nice. As far as the 2nd floor bathroom I was fine with it as I am not tall but my husband did bump his head throughout the week. All in all I loved how we could walk everywhere on the island and in town to yummy dinners.

Great Week in Harbour Island
Fantastic stay at Elizabeth on Crown. Very quaint cottage. Location is perfect close to grocery, liquor and shops. Few minute ride by golf cart to the beautiful beaches. Great place to rent chairs and umbrellas by the Dunmore think it’s called Ms V’s. Overall the property was as advertised. Beds were super comfortable, tons of towels for the beach and Gem welcomed us with some great starters (snacks) which we were not expecting. The bakery, Arthur’s, is right next door. We loved it. Would go back.

Family Friendly
Stayed for 5 days with my husband and 3 kids ages 3, 5, and 7. Overall a very cozy house for our family. Master bathroom situation a bit odd but I was prepared for that from reviews. Only complaints would be very low water pressure and the nightly concert that can be easily heard from Daddy Ds (especially on New Years Eve). Kids also woke up with the roosters every morning but I anticipated that! Lovely house and rental-extra bonus was the abundance of towels and well equipped kitchen/bar. Welcome note and some food items were a treat as well. Hope to return soon!

We just returned from our first trip to Harbour Island. We loved it! The house is cute, clean, and charming. The location is convenient to the Pigly Wigly for groceries. And a quick golf cart ride to the bay or the beach. The ONLY way to improve this house would be in the master bathroom. We didn’t love the lack of privacy (not having a bathroom door) or the inability to stand up straight at the sink due to the sloped roof. But both of those things were easy enough to over look when the rest of the house is clean and comfortable and the island is so wonderful.

We just returned from our first trip to Harbour Island. We loved it! The house is cute, clean, and charming. The location is convenient to the Pigly Wigly for groceries. And a quick golf cart ride to the bay or the beach. The ONLY way to improve this house would be in the master bathroom. But both of those things were easy enough to over look when the rest of the house is clean and comfortable and the island is so wonderful.

Lovely Harbour Island Cottage
Wonderful harbour island cottage with solid amenities. The cottage is well located in town, close to shopping and an easy 10 minute walk to the pink sand beach. The music is quite loud and you can feel the beat. Also, the roosters start making their noise around 4;30 am so if you are a light sleeper this could be a problem. Ear plugs were provided but didn't work for all. The upstairs bathroom has a vaulted ceiling so men cannot stand while using the toilet and there is no mirror in the bathroom. These are minor issues but you should be aware. The house is lovely and we spent a lot of time on the back deck for drinks. The flies were crazy during dinner time even with citronella so we weren't able to eat outside on the nights we grilled at home. We loved our $11 per person allowance at Cocoa for breakast, which is a short walk from the house. A great bonus! Again, Gem will help with anything!

For my group of four friends, we would not have found a cuter cottage right in the heart of town. Gem responded to questions so quickly. We will come again to this property!

The home itself is nicely decorated beautifully, and the backyard was perfect for having friends over for drinks after dinner, or reading a book in the afternoon post-beach.

Wonderful Vacation!!
We really enjoyed staying at Elizabeth on Crown. Every detail was attended to in this lovely home. It is perfectly cozy and clean. The location is great - close to everything. The addition of the complimentary breakfast was delightful!! We truly looked forward to Coco every day - sometimes went 2 times a day! Communication was on point and easy. Would love to stay here again!! Thank you for everything : )
