Wonderful location near downtown, private entry, and ample space for a small family. Please be aware that this is a basement apartment. The front door was hard to open/ close tried not to slam. PEACEFUL birds singing, chipmunks, squirls, rabbits in yard. Parking is off a sloped driveway.

The apartment was clean and well appointed and bigger than described. Terrific location with plenty of privacy while being close to most everything in Brevard. David and Ginger are excellent hosts!

The unit was very cute and I was pleasantly surprised it had an additional 1/2 bath off the living room. The kitchen could stand an upgrade in cookware and utensils. I would not have been able to actually cook a meal. Minimally, I would suggest an electric kettle, a toaster, and a microwavable measuring cup. The exterior motion sensitive lighting was triggered by small animals and the blinds on the windows were insufficient to keep the room dark. Blackout curtains in the bedroom would help. The walkway was well maintained but very slippery in the frosty mornings and would benefit from some non-slip treading. The neighborhood is both beautiful and very convenient to downtown. Quite walkable.

Great little place to spend time in Brevard! Very clean and convenient. Bed is firm if you like it. Nice to have two bathrooms to spread out. Would definitely recommend!!

Apartment was perfect for me to visit my daughter. Close to downtown and very comfortable.

We were in Brevard to visit our children, so we spent quite a bit of time out & about. But, when we were there, it was very comfortable & clean, with plenty of bedclothes & linens. They provided lots of basic things you would need, along with a couple of snacks & coffee. Check-in & check-out were a breeze & they didn't have an overly-complicated list of "do's and don'ts" like some other places we've rented, only a few basics. We did hear the occasional footsteps upstairs, but nothing that would keep us from staying again. Another review said there were no electrical outlets in the bathrooms. That is not true. There IS one in the main bathroom, but not the half- bath.

We spent a wonderful four days at this private apartment in Brevard. It was our first time, but it will not be our last. Everything is as described. The apartment is cozy, bright, well-maintained, very private, and in a really pleasant neighborhood. We made use of the well-stocked, clean kitchen and it's double oven! Every room was clean and fresh. The bed was very comfortable, and check-in and check-out was very easy. We were fortunate to meet the owners, and hope to see them again sometime in the future. P.S. We are cyclists and have been riding the area for years. It was so convenient to ride right out of the neighborhood to our favorite spots The only negative? Having to leave.

This is a very nice and convenient apartment. My only problem was in the slowness of both vrbo and my host to respond and communicate details in a timely matter. When driving 9 hours for a special event and coordinating schedules and details, a few more days notice is needed. I should not have to pull over in order to coordinate things I should have known way before. I had to choose between getting good seats at my event and getting my things dropped off. I paid in full back in the Spring, and I deserved more timely replies.

The apartment was the perfect size for my husband, son & I. The location was convenient to downtown Brevard & the college. We loved the secluded entry with peaceful woods at the door. It was very clean when we arrived. We also appreciated the complimentary coffee & cereal bars! We will stay again!

We were in town for a tournament and don't really like hotels. This space was cute with easy access and the half bath was a bonus!

We love staying in this house! It is so nice and comfortable. The owners are easy to get ahold of and give you complimentary items to use! It is also so close to downtown and a great area!

First impression when walking in was.... very nice. Very clean. Our hosts had all the special touches. Fresh ice in the full size fridge. Several waters and snacks, and plenty of coffee options. Would definitely stay again.

My friend and I went on vacation to Brevard for a relaxing week. We are teachers so school is out and we needed relaxation and we definitely relaxed. The apartment was beautiful, very clean and everything we needed. My friend stayed in the bedroom and I pulled out the couch bed. I had my own bathroom off the living room and she had hers in the bedroom and we shared the shower. It was so nice and not cramped. While we were there we went downtown Brevard and walked around to the local stores. Ate at a few restaurants, our favorites were Morning Social, Big Mikes, and The Square Root. They were so good. It rained the whole time we were there however we did get to see 3 waterfalls they were so beautiful! Be aware there is a lot of walking and hiking. We we’re going to go kayaking however the water levels were too high and we couldn’t but the best place for that was the Headwaters Outfitters their prices were very reasonable. I hope this helps for your next visit, I know we will be back and hopefully renting this apartment again!!!!

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights while travelling through the mountains starting in Asheville, then Bat Cave, Brevard, Cherokee, and finally Gatlinburg. The location was off the main shopping area by a couple miles. It was nice to step away from the tourist congestion. Check-in was very simple, although we didn't read the entire check-in procedure instructing us to use the door behind the house on the lower level. Oops. All rooms were nice and clean. My wife and I really enjoyed our time in Brevard. Thanks!

We traveled to Brevard for a short vacation. It was a perfect location to enjoy the town and the area. Lower, walkout place with private driveway and entry. Didn’t even notice the owners upstairs yet they were available if need be. We came and went as we pleased and enjoyed our evenings watching tv or simply relaxing. Modern amenities such as streaming tv services and digital thermometer. The town is close and has very nice food spots and small ‘downtown’ area. Highly recommended!

Dave and Ginger's place was perfect for our stay. Is was in a quiet neighborhood but close enough to walk to town. Plenty of space for 2 people and ample parking. There were also some games and interesting books and tourist information. It was clean and the bed was super comfortable. The extra half bath was a nice bonus. We didn't cook much but the basics were there if had wanted to. Dave and Ginger went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and we would definitely stay here again, Thanks again for being so awesome!
