Snacks left in the room was a pleasant surprise.
All the mirrors were too high to look into.

Very accommodating— allowed us to check in a bit early
Wish we had a room further from the street — the trucks were noisy.

The location was great. Management was helpful and very responsive when I contacted them with special requests. Everything was clean and cared for. The support/housekeeping staff went above and beyond expectations to get our TV working so we could watch a sporting event on a rainy afternoon.
One of the 2 rooms was pretty sparse, the other was ok. They weren't nearly as nice as they looked online. We also had a hard time getting the TV in the nicer room (the one with a chair) to work, but with a lot of effort staff eventually got it going.

The convenience of having our Honeymoon in a quaint getaway in our own way. That’s what life’s all about.
Being in such a remote location where everything closes so early, the rooms surely need Microwaves. That was our one and ONLY discomfort. 🥂

the sound of the River next to it was very calming.
the room was very dark, even with the lights on.

Great little place to stay by the river and everything is within walking distance! The owner is amazing, talked to him about motorcycles for hours!

I liked being able to sit outside and view the river
Room was really small. Would have appreciated daily room cleaning. We were there three days. I emptied my own trash etc. the shower was stopped up. The shower handle is broken and fell off.

It was a beautiful spot, *right* on the Apilation trail. The town was beautiful and the people, very friendly.
Google took us on a bit of a wild goose chase trying to find it. It's actually right in the town of
Hot Springs, not across the river and two miles up the road.

Great location.
The bed was really hard and the linens could have been better quality. The pillows were as uncomfortable as the bed. The shower could have used a light. Also, we were there during a cold snow day and I could feel a draft under the door and through the window pane. Also, while the room had great TV options, I really wish the inn had wifi.

perfect location, comfortable, and loved that we could book for just 1 night without a 2 night minimum stay
would have loved Wi-Fi, but other than that it was perfect for us

The property is right in the middle of town which is great! it was clean and modern. we enjoyed the fire pit and grill that were provided.
we rented the units 1 and 5. in unit 1 the bathroom door wouldn’t shut and the curtains barely fit over the windows. someone could still easily see in if they were closed. The beds in both units were really hard. There is no Wi-Fi in the hotel it’s self. you have to walk up to the road to get connection.

Convenient location into town, cozy housing, optional air conditions (heating/cooling), spacious.
Definitely needed more outlet space near bedsides if possible.

The location of this property is great.
Don't expect charm. This place is a basic accommodation. We had no contact with the innkeeper. Only got a text telling us the code to a small lockbox, with no other instructions, so not being familiar with the lockbox, it was a challenge to get into the room. The room is small; the bed takes up most of the room.

Location was the only thing I liked
I was unable to get the TV` to work ( all I wanted to do was rest and watch TV` there). I texted the number that sent me the code to get into my room several times and waited till midnight to get a reply. They were unable to help me via text and there was no one on property to help me. There is no front desk and I felt like the texting showed lack of concern. The room is tiny. Absolutely tiny. So I just sat in the dark. I was during the off season yet paid over 150$ for that room. The bed was slouchy and you can’t see the river from the room despite how they advertise it. I felt mislead and overcharged not to mention left with amenities that didn’t even work despite me asking for help. Next day the maid tried to get it to work too. And confirmed that there was a problem. There was no reaching out from them to myself to even apologize. Nothing. They took my money and showed zero concern.

The room was clean.
The room was FREEZING. No instructions available to adjust the wall heater. No Blankets. We added the 2nd room bedspread, a car blanket and a bathrobe to the bed. Still we were too cold to sleep, especially with my husbands new knee replacement. He is extremely sensitive to cold. The floor tiles were like stepping on ice. The bathroom was way too cold to even think about a shower.
In the am we called to say we could not endure a 2 nd night. The housekeeper was sent to check out the room . She got heat to come on somehow. She said that we should have turned on the air conditioner as it has a heater. Why would we have even have thought to do that ????? Actually since it was to be a very cold night it seems like management would have already turned the heat on or at least made sure we knew how to manage the strange heat system.
Then the manager said we could not have a refund. We were booked for 2 nights.
It was a complete waste of money. We will certainly never stay there again.
Actually we won't even visit Hot Springs again. It completely soured us on the whole place.

EVERYTHING! The location was right downtown, it was on a creek, they had a little sitting area with a little fire pit and a BBQ Grill. It was clean and very simply decorated, but cute.
I didn’t meet him in person but, Jay the guy who runs the place is so Friendly, made me feel like an old friend when I talked to him.
The bed was a little too hard but the pillows were soft.

The location was great. We used it as a home base to do some hiking excursions.
Walking distance to restaurants.
We enjoyed the outside seating by the creek.
Our room lacked good lighting. Overhead light was dim and not much for natural light.
The room is a little small.
