The apartment fits the description- it is spectacular, location is great, very close to the beach and town centre. It is comfortable with free parking outside, it depends on the availability of course. The view is amazing and the decor is great. It is the sanctuary for the fans of golf. You can see the owner of the apartment is very proud of his achievements in golf. His passion shines through - great to see and well done!
Just a note- Some pots, plates and cups needed a good wash before using. The coffee machine hasn’t been cleaned too, I am referring to milk jug. It was difficult to work out how to use the hob, there should be clear instructions as it is not a conventional one, I found a YouTube video in the end but it was a bit frustrating. They have a book manual but they need to update the information there.
When we arrived they had a small leak next to one of the bathrooms, their housekeeping did not seem to notice this, it was mild inconvenience to have people around trying to fix it while we were staying there, but I appreciate that things happen. Also the windows could do with the cleaning before they have people in.
Apart from the above - highly recommended.

Great location, views and loved the style and decor of the property. Beds super comfortable. Kitchen very well equipped.
Needs maintenance…. Fridge/freezer flooded in the kitchen, shower cubicle flooded the bathroom, blind in one bedroom broken and not replaced, underfloor heating didn’t work in 2nd bathroom and nasty stain on the carpet. Apartment needs repainting as lots of dirty scuff marks. Windows need cleaning as lots of bird droppings.

Stunning view of West Sands. We really enjoyed the balcony.
We loved almost everything. Only, minor issues. The seagulls were a bit loud. A few kitchen bits and bobs could be added (e.g. proper cutlery and corkscrew / beer opener and more coffee pods). Maybe they were there but we didn’t find them. Overall, we LOVED the location, spaciousness and design of the place. We would love to come back next time we are in St Andrews!

the size and location is perfect - the decor is beautiful
the communal areas are a big let down. Dirty hallway with paint and cobwebs. inside the property doesn’t match the outside.

Location
The property is in need of renovation. Poor impression from external - garden is a mess and crowded with bins, entrance hall is a mess and far from luxurious. Internally the apartment, although quirky, is neither welcoming nor “spectacular. Carpets are stained, walls need painted and the old furniture needs replaced. Lights don’t work / flicker and the switches are broken. Balcony is slippy and dirty.

the location was perfection the views and facilities were top tier
the communal entrance hallway was being decorated so it was dirty with paint cans lying around and wet paint. we got this on our hands and clothes. also quite a lot of the dimmer switches were falling off and some of the lights didn’t work. there was also not poker etc to deal with the fire.

Location / quality of furnishings. Comfortable bed. Cleanliness.
Needs a label on door entry system to say it was for 3D Penthouse as wasnt clear it was the unmarked box. Visitor book including oven instructions as couldnt get it to work properly and had to make alternative meal arrangements. In one bedroom switches for towel rail and under floor heating not obvious where to switch them off.

Location
Extensive building work being carried out in the apartment below ,which was very noisy and prior to my arrival I was not made aware of this or I would have cancelled .
Wrong set of instructions in welcome pack regarding the hob so I was unable to use this

location was excellent and great views over the sea.
The front door appearance not great, needs an overhaul and painted. Apartment lovely but not spectacular - fridge was set at 1 which we discovered next day when our milk had frozen. There was another cooler unit but no idea what it really was, fridge or freezer? The cooker was very difficult to operate and we gave up and went out for breakfast instead! Whilst there is a number to call for help, didn’t like to. It was quite cool in the living room in the afternoon and without the wood burner it would have been pretty cold - perhaps you could adjust your timings or increase the heat. Check in time is 4pm, rather late and you had to pay if you wanted to arrive earlier. Check out is 10am which is very early! Again you have to pay extra for 1 hour extra, really? After paying premium rates for this apartment, you have to pay extra, I don’t think so. disappointed in that respect and would suggest a 3pm check in and 11am check out as standard. In need of new sofas.

Inside of apartment was lovely However the outside of property and entrance hall could do with a good clean. Overflowing bins in the front garden and collection of foul smelling water. Very worn stairs outside clogged with leaves which was slip hazard. No lock on main door to property

Great location, great view and spacious
Entrance was grubby, overgrown moss. Dilapidated entrance, very dirty, broken lock on glass door and glass filthy. Grubby entrance hall needing painted. Internal staircase to apartment needing painted. Light bulbs not working in bathrooms and living room. Tread missing in 2nd bedroom. Unable to open and shut blinds in main bedroom. Very dirty windows, given the cost should be much higher standard!

This property is all it’s advertised and more. Beautiful furnishings, layout, location and the best view in St. Andrews!
We liked everything about it, but be prepared, it’s on the third floor of a walk up, so make sure everyone is capable of getting up there!

Spectacular does not do this apartment justice. Every thing was perfect down to the smallest detail.
The location and the view from the balcony were wonderful.
Can't recommend highly enough.
Perhaps seating on the balcony would have been good but maybe there is a reason for this not being possible.

superb location, well decorated and clean
the entrance to the apartment could do with upgrading, the kitchen facilities were not great, Im not sure the fridges were working properly, the wine cooler did which was fine.

The entrance to the building, exterior & interior was very grubby and shabby, not a good first impression, also the windows needed a good clean inside and out and there were quite a few cobwebs and sofa was very untidy, no one had plumped up the cushions etc and at first we didn’t know if it had been cleaned until we went into the bedrooms, also we appreciate St. Andrews is the golf capital of Scotland but far too many golf bags lying about, 2/3 would have been sufficient instead of 4, not everyone’s mad on golf 😂
