We had an amazing experience at the cabin, we drink coffee on the porch and listened to the birds in the morning. It was very peaceful, secluded and it’s a great place to really step back from everyday life and be with someone you love.

We thoroughly enjoyed our month stay in this gorgeous rental. All amenities were as described in the listing and then some. The owners are incredibly responsive. The place was clean and the views are fantastic. Wildlife, sunsets, bbq on the deck, super patio, great walks in the nearby neighborhood. We would definitely recommend this rental.

Anyone that wants to relax in total comfort and privacy....book this spot. Great location, everything you need , superb hosts. Close to the magical town of MURPHYS but far enough away for total privacy. Loved this place 4 years ago and still adore it now.

The property is amazing! You are only about a mile from town, but you feel like you are away from it all. The cottage is well equipped for cooking and designed for relaxing. The bed is super comfortable too. Read the correspondence carefully for check-in. We found it a bit confusing. But once we got past that, everything was wonderful. We hope to stay again very soon.

Never have had any issues with renting the place always very accommodating and easy to work with.

I came to Murphy's for a concert at Ironstone winery. I also needed a few days to relax and reset my inner calm. This was the perfect place. It was just a short way off the main road, but it felt miles removed from the busy world. Sitting on the back deck was so beautiful and relaxing. The birds and wildlife were fun to watch. I was delighted when I saw a grey fox. I can't wait to return.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin felt private though not far from town. We enjoyed peaceful breakfasts on the deck with the hummingbirds and acorn woodpeckers.

The cottage was nicely designed and decorated. The only complaint was that there were white stains on the couch. We cleaned them but wondered how the person that cleans didn't see them.

We thoroughly enjoyed and relaxed in this comfortable and well-equipped cottage. It is located on a secluded hillside a short drive from Murphys. Excellent coffee was provided, and the Indian Rock red wine was also great - make sure you visit the vineyard just down the road. A most relaxing time, which was needed and appreciated.

We loved the decor in this property and all the little extra touches (toiletries, coffee, extra linens etc) We did have some trouble with the internet and the owners ordered a new gateway which will hopefully fix jt. but TMobile cellular service worked well but Verizon did not. The patio was the highlight - great place to eat dinner and grill and it was safe enough for our 3 year old to be on. It's not walkable to downtown (uphill and very hot in July) but it is a short car ride away. The town of Murphy is wonderful with a lovely creek for kids to play in and super friendly town and neighbors. They even invited us to the neighborhood block party!

Loved everything about it, except when we had trouble accessing gate, and called VRBO customer service, was on hold for 22 minutes and then got disconnected. Great property, but VRBO stinks.

We love the privacy and relaxing environment of this property! It has become our go to when we stay in Murphy’s.

This little cabin was our choice for my wife and I's annual Murphys trip, and it was a great place to stay. It's nestled up on a hill, about 1/2 mile (walkable) up from Indian Rock Winery, and about 2 miles from downtown (only walkable for the brave, since Pennsylvania Gulch is narrow, windy, and hilly, with not a lot of shoulder). Cabin was nicely appointed, came with everything you would need. Bed was among the softer memory foam mattresses I've been on (most are rock hard), but still firmer than I like. I really liked the casement windows, and the overall amount of windows in the space. This place seems ideal for good weather, as the main dining table is outside (there is a small "cafe table" inside, and a fancy TV tray also), there's a cornhole set, there's lots of operable windows, there's an air mattress if you want to look at the stars, and there's a picnic table at the top of the driveway. The hosts were exceptionally nice, allowing a late checkout, and very promptly answering questions (I forgot to write down the gate code, not just the house code... FYI: there's two numbers you need!), left us a welcome note, a binder full of house notes, a bottle of wine, and restaurant recommendations. The Pros: -Incredible View -Good Size for 2 -Private -Close to town -Excellent Hosts -Operable Windows -HVAC unit worked extremely fast From the "Minor Quibbles" Desk: -Firmer Mattress -Not much tablespace if weather is bad -Water Heater (I think this was the source) was oddly loud -Birds nesting/resting in deck eaves were sometimes noisy... (might have been more irritating had we wanted to use the air mattress stargazing option). -Manual Gate at the bottom (looks like it would have been very irritating trying to operate if you were solo). -Not Walkable to Downtown All in all, the quibbles department was far outweighed by pros column, and we immensely enjoyed our time there, and would stay at this place again, especially during the summer months.

This property is so perfect in everyway. It had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our birthday weekend.

Quite place with a beautiful view!

Very tasteful and well-appointed cabin in the woods. Perfect for two people. We enjoyed grilling steaks out on the deck while sipping wine purchased after wine tasting in Murphy's. Kitchen is well equipped, king-sized bed was nice and soft. Everything clean and new.

Cottage was absolutely perfect. Serene and relaxing, close to everything we wanted to see. Owners have done a fantastic job with all the little touches. Highly recommend for any couple, we reconnected with our college student son and his GF also.

We had a great 3 night stay at this property located in a secluded spot, but near all of the things we like see and do in the area.
