We really enjoyed our stay at TimberRidge with 5 adults and 6 kids. The open layout was ideal and the large island in the kitchen was awesome. We had hot weather during our stay, but the house was very comfortable with air conditioning and fans. The sandy beach was great for the kids and the lily pad and paddle boat were favorites too. The kids also had a great time catching fish right off the dock. The large fire pit area was very nice and it was fun to make s’mores. It was fantastic that you provided firewood. The distance to the lake and steps could be difficult for some, but we did fine with them. Thank you for letting us stay at your cabin! We hope to come again!

We loved the location of the cabin. It was about 3 blocks from the Paul Bunyan Trail. There's a nice little coffee shop and some restaurants in downtown Pequot as well. We end up cooking most of our own meals due to my niece being Celiac so the double oven was great. The kitchen had most things we needed but could have had a few more plates since there weren't enough for the number of people allowed in the cabin. It's on us that we didn't check if there was A/C. It was not listed in the description which we realized later. There were two window units that kept the house mostly cool, but we lucked out in that sense that it was a cool week or the upstairs bedrooms would be quite warm. The beds were comfortable and the cabin seemed pretty well cleaned between visitors. There were a number of spiders, but that's what you get surrounded by woods. The pontoon rental was great and the sandbar in the lake was super fun for the kids. We also enjoyed the paddle board, kayaks and canoe. Communication with Holly was fantastic. She was quick to answer texts and questions and even helped us out when we accidentally blew a fuse. Overall we had a fun week!

Our party consisted of 4 adults and 7 kids aged 14-2. The house had everything we needed. The pool table and foos ball table got a lot of use by the older kids and parents. The water was nice. At the end of the dock it was probably around 4 1/2-5 ft deep and drops off after that pretty quickly. The kids like jumping off the dock and diving to the bottom to find rocks. The Lilly pad and kayaks/paddle board were all well used. The only draw back was that it’s an older home and the floors and stairs are very creaky so it’s hard to sneak around upstairs if you have little ones sleeping. All in all we enjoyed our time very much!

We stayed with our adult kids, their spouses, and 1 toddler (10 adults) and were impressed with the amount of room. The common spaces were large and easily accommodated our group whether we were all together playing a game or doing our own thing. We thoroughly enjoyed the outside spaces as well including the little side deck. Communication with Holly was frequent, fast, and convenient--she was a great hostess! We had a fun, memorable week with our kids!

I cannot stop thinking of the beautiful sunsets we enjoyed every night! I love to cook so I was happy to have such a beautiful kitchen to cook and bake in. Plenty of entertainment spaces to keep everyone happy. My kids liked the game room where they could watch a kid's movie while we watched sports in the main living area. The owner was super responsive and the location is perfect if you need to grab something you forgot. Pro-tip: You can do an online grocery order for the local supermarket ahead of time and pick it up when you get up there. Saved us a ton of time and space in the car. We will be back!

We had the most wonderful time on our vacation! There were 6 of us and the open layout was wonderful. The home was very clean and homey. The stairs going to the lake can be a lot but you do get used to them, just plan ahead before going down. The outdoor living space was a dream. The upstairs bedrooms can get warm and stuffy at night unless the doors are all left open so the AC can really cool all rooms. But it was manageable, fans available for every room, which was SUPER helpful! The pontoon was a favorite addition to the trip and we are so glad it was available as an option. Holly is a delight to work with and always available to help where needed.

Happiness would be the word for the feeling of jumping off the dock when your 5yrs old. Sadness when we had to leave today. Beautiful property with the most amazing sunsets. Our family of 9 had so much space to create memories. We swam, fished, went to turtle races in Nisswa, we went biking, we did loads of crafts, roasted marshmallows, boating. I guess, you name it, we did it. Thoroughly loved our stay.

Our family of ten had plenty of room in this house. The lake is delightful but climbing the steps back up to the house was a bit tiring. In spite of that we had a great time and will cherish the memories we made.

The home suited all our needs and was well stocked. Owners were friendly and helpful.

Our family had a great time at Holly and John's vacation rental. It was large enough for the eight of us. The steps up from the lake were a challenge for some when going up multiple times in a day. We had a couple of very hot days and part of the house did get warm those two days, then cooled down again. Holly and John's communication was excellent. Loved the location on the lake, in town, and close to the bike path.

Spacious cabin. Good for a big group.. our grandkids had lots of fun with all the beach Toys. We were able to rent a pontoon from the owner separately. It was wonderful…would stay again. The cabin is equipped with evert you need with comfy furnishings

We just spent a week at this wonderful home on beautiful Sibley Lake. The house is very spacious, and there was plenty of room for our family of five adults and four children, ranging in age from 1 to 13. We were fortunate to have gorgeous weather all week, so we spent a LOT of time on and in the lake! I was concerned that by mid-August and very little rain, the water level might be exceptionally low and algae might be significant. But I was thrilled that the lake was clean and beautiful! Great swimming area by the dock, too. We also enjoyed the fire pit and making s’mores. 😋 All in all, it was a fantastic place for us to build memories with our kids and grandkids. I would highly recommend this property. And you can’t beat the sunset over the lake, either!

The lake was a great size for skiing and paddle boarding. The living room was a great size for the whole family. It would be nice to have air conditioning, the upstairs got warm on the hotter days

This cabin/home had it all! Spacious, plenty of outdoor fun things, indoor had a separate game room, large kitchen and living room, and the soaker tub off the master bedroom was a hit! Easy bike ride to the Paul Bunyan bike trail and easy walk to the cute downtown of Pequot Lakes. Would highly recommend!

This house and outside area were great. We appreciated the large combined t.v. and pool table area as well as the open kitchen. House is as wonderful as pictured. The hosts supply lots of water toys too.

This is our second year staying at this home. The location can’t be beat! Plenty to do in the surrounding area. The lake has great fishing. Kids had fun tubing, kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming. The home is clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommend this home. We will definitely be back next year!

Excellent space for a big family to stay! We stayed during one of the coldest weeks in MN and we still had so much fun with all the indoor activities that were provided. The owners were extremely helpful when we had questions as well. I would highly recommend the property - we are looking forward to booking another trip in summer to spend some time on the lake!

We spent 7 nights at this property and thoroughly enjoyed our time together. The lake was fun to boat on with our Waverunner. Due to somewhat poor weather, we had the lake to ourselves most of the time just for poking around. Too cold for swimming. We also brought our bikes and enjoyed biking into Nisswa on the Paul Bunyan trail. We especially enjoyed the pool table, board games at the dinner table, comfortable beds and plenty of space to spread out. Would definitely consider going again.

We stayed almost a week at the property with family members from 3 generations. The location was great for all. The owners provided a lot amenities for both indoor and outdoor (pool table, kayaks, air hokey, foose ball, noodles, etc) activities. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The shared spaces were large enough for all 9 of us to gather, whether it was for dinner or for a fire. Property was well maintained and tidy. We will definitely book at this property again. A couple of things that would be helpful are: more information on the access to the lake - you can see it is a hill in the pictures but it is quite steep and quite a few steps. Great little beach area once you reach it; a book on the surrounding amenities would be nice - I always like to know what the locals recommend and instructions how to operate the TV, including unlocking instructions as many movies were blocked by parental controls. Overall highly recommend.

We had a great time at the cabin. The lake is gorgeous and great for swimming. It does get deep quickly , but not so fast that my 3 year old nephew couldn't play safely. The house was clean and spacious. Very comfortable for the 8 of us with room to spare.

This beautiful, spacious, comfy and clean lake house was accurately described and perfect for our family summer vacation. The beds were comfortable and came with very good linens and towels supplied. The kitchen was stocked with all the pots & pans, tableware and utensils needed for cooking any meals. There is also a well-stocked grocery store within a few blocks in case you need to purchase items, slightly more expensive than our hometown store but not outrageous. The warm clean lake with sand beach was wonderful with great fishing both off the dock and by boat, mostly smaller fish but a good variety. We were able to bring our own boat and dock it was well as use our kayaks but there were 2 supplied, 1 adult, 1 kids along with a paddle boat and water toys. The lake and neighborhood was very quiet, even on the weekend. We played lots of games at the large table, played pool and could watch a movie or TV if we wanted to. Lots of golf and mini-golf options in the area as well as shopping if that is an interest. We would recommend this rental to friends and family and hope to return again in the future.

We picked this home as we were looking for a place to accommodate 13 people from 3 families. This home was the perfect place to gather and make memories. We feel so blessed that the owners of this home shared their home with us. It was more spacious then we thought by looking at the pictures which allowed everyone to play games and have their own space. The lake was amazingly calm and clear. We couldn’t believe how clean it was. Kids enjoyed swimming and the owners had an abundance of water toys for us to use such as lily pad, Kayak, paddle boat, and more. The fire pit and seating around it was a great place to make s’mores and visit. The younger kids loved the tire swing out front. We did most of our cooking and grilling at the house and loved the kitchen. Everything we needed was there and grills outside worked great as well. Kids loved playing 8 ball pool and watching movies late at night inside after a full day of being in the water. We loved working with the owners and they communicated well with us. We highly recommend their home and would go back. Great family lake memories had by all 3 families.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The cabin is well maintained, clean and stocked with all the necessities. The kitchen is well stocked with all the essentials for cooking. The bed rooms sleep 12 comfortably! Plenty of space to spread out! Lake had great boat fishing. The kids had great dock fishing and enjoyed tubing on the lake. The town of Pequot has a nice grocery and a few little shops, but Baxter/Brainerd/Nisswa is just down the road if you are in need of bigger city amenities. The owners of the cabin were great. Lots of communication and very helpful. This cabin was 10 out of 10. We will be back again!
