Pascale was a very warm host who made sure we could find our way round the City (La Rochelle is beautiful). Breakfast was excellent and Pascale even made us an early breakfast on our final day to ensure we were able to get our train.

The location was fantastic, close to the old town, shops, restaurants, and port. The building was on a typical and pretty French street and was extremely quiet both day and night. The interior decoration was amazing, It combined elements of both traditional French design with unique, exotic touches. The bedroom was very comfortable and clean. It looked over a courtyard, so we could leave the windows open all the time, which was a great bonus during the very warm weather. The bathroom was lovely, nice, and modern, and the perfect size. Our hostess Pascale and her partner Mark were exceptionally kind and helpful and went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was memorable for all the right reasons. I highly recommend this accommodation.

The access door to the building (with a digital code) needed a little practice, but that was just a minor detail and the owner was extremely helpful in showing us how to use it properly.

Quirky townhouse in the centre of La Rochelle, full of beautiful objects d'art. Pascale has a welcoming smile and is full of character, just like her house. Attentive with good recommendations. Breakfast was lovely & fresh. The beds were extra comfortable with lovely crisp bedding.

Stairs could be difficult with luggage or for those with reduce mobility.

The location was perfect and very close to the sea front and marina. Plenty of restaurants. Short walk to the Bus Station with good service to the airport. Pascale made breakfast early so we could get to the Bus Station for 0800. Pascale and her husband made us very welcome. Our bed was VERY comfortable

The room lighting was quite dull. We had to be careful with the step down out of the en-suite which was awkward especially in the evening. The wifi only seemed to work in the downstairs lounge and it was a general problem around La Rochelle.

The accommodation is so beautiful, I didn’t want to leave! Pessa is a wonderful host and there is a very good breakfast prepared for the morning. it is in a great location, just a short walk away from the quieter shopping area as well as the busier port area with restaurants and bars. The accommodation honestly felt like a dream, every last detail was perfect. There is tea and coffee available at your leisure throughout the day too. I hope that I can come back to La Rochelle one day and would definitely stay here again!

Such a lovely place! The place itself is stunning! There is so much love and thoughts in all the details. Pascale is an amazing, friendly and lovely person! We felt really welcome and enjoyed our stay a lot. The breakfast was also really nice and tasty!

The hotel is like BnB in a really good location within walking distance of cafes, restaurants, shopping, the waterfront and monuments. The breakfast is fresh and delicious.

The stairs because we are elderly but we had help with our big, heavy suitcases.

The host, athmosphere

The location was superb, it was fantastic to be in the heart of La Rochelle with a 5 minute walk to the main port and all of the fantastic restaurants and bars. The family studio is a 5 minute drive away from the main hotel, but Pascale offered us her wonderful hospitality with cold soft drinks, a local map and restaurant recommendations before taking us to the studio in her car. The studio was furnished with an eclectic mix and was perfect size for 2 adults in a double bed, and 2 single roll out beds. La Rochelle is an amazing place to holiday, with it's small beach, lots of small boutiques, the ferris wheel, amazing architecture, churches and of course the port which is magical day or night. A truly stunning location which I'll definitely visit again. I'd definitely return to visit Pascale and would love to stay in one of the main rooms in the hotel which look fabulous.

The family studio/apartment that I booked was in a different location to the main b&b which I didn't know so I think this should be made clearer in the hotel description. There were 3 flights of steep stairs up to the family apartment which might not be suitable for elderly or disabled guests, it also made it tricky to lift your luggage up, but Pascale did help us which was appreciated. We experienced tiny ants coming into the kitchen from underneath the kitchen windowsill. The shower would benefit from having a permanent fixing. Pascale forgot to tell us how to open the steel security door to the studio building, there is a button on the right hand side of the hallway which you have to press which opens the front door.

This is a charming hotel -b & B really - in a brilliant central ,but quiet, location just round the corner from the old port and shops - Pascale is a wonderful friendly host who welcomes you to her home, which is full of quirky touches - plants and object d'art, paintings and ceramics which give the place a personality of its own - a really great individual feel. Amazing breakfast - particularly fresh croissants and many jams.Hihgly recommended - hope we all return

Difficult to open front door - but Pascale was very nice about being woken at 2am to let us in !

This was our best stay during a 4 week cycling tour through Europe. Wonderful in every respect but starting with the exceptional host. Highly recommended for a longer stay!

It was lovely. Honestly, the nicest B and B I have ever stayed in and one of the best long weekends I have ever had. If we ever go back to La Rochelle, we will definitely stay here again.

Right in the centre of La Rochelle, nice cosy little apartment with all one may need. There is a home atmosphere so one can feel like a local, not a hotel tourist. Really cool and nice.
