No repetiría!

Stayed in a bunk bed room, wasn't too busy so it was okay. Great if you're looking for a short-term stay - reasonable cost.
There was no reception staff in the evening, I tried calling all the numbers their reception desk directed me to contact to check in but no one picked up

The receptionist was lovely, and the communal space was excellent!
There was no laundry facilities!

The hostel uses capsule beds that are very comfortable, spacious and private compared to regular bunk beds. The bathroom/shower area was modern, clean and also comfortable to use. The common spaces were well preserved for a hostel and pleasurable to spend time in. The location was good with close proximity to the center (5 min walk). The train/bus station also wasn't too far, about 20-30 min walk or 15 min by bus.
The only downside were the short reception hours which made getting stuff like towels, bed liners outside those hours uncomfortable or impossible.

Bad neighborhood! Watchout when night falls the street fills up with dealers and prostitues.
Guest smoking in the room
People coming in and out of the room all night
Could not sleep well
There was also water restritions from 11 to 4
Stay away!
Go to Pensión Fortea for a much better private room for cheaper!

They let you leave your stuff, so you can pick them up if you have train or flight later. The rooms are nice, newly renovated, with aircon. Could have been better ventilated - the have bathroom joined together to the sleeping area.

One of the lockers that we had was broken.

good location, walkable from the old town
there was a very strong smell of scented cleaning products throughout the whole place, from the entrance all the way to the room which was quite unpleasant. in the morning, I woke up to what smelled like sewage coming up from the pipes maybe

This Hostel could be a great place. But here are the reasons why you should stay away (I should have read the other low score reviews):
Several guests and I have noticed, that the hostel tolerates a local hooker to stay and bring her customer to the shared doorms. So if you are lucky, you have a drunk sex worker in your room having sex with their customer. I reported this already to booking.com.
The hostel is located in the poorest and most dangerous area of the city. There are teenagers and young adults selling drugs on many corners. Two of them even threatened me, when I didn't want to buy their stuff. As women I would feel utterly unsafe in this area. Especially at night.
There are no openable windows in the rooms for fresh air. Even after asking the manager to atleast turn on the AC, nothing happened. After the third day, I took the window handle from the front desk (you need that to open them) and I opened the window/door. The owner saw that through the camera and went to the hostel with her daughter? and a police officer. Then it got really wild. They showed up in the hostel to seek me like they were looking for a murder. Rarely in my life have I seen owners arguing in such a disgusting manner about a matter, which is their responsibility. Guess what happened? Instead of establishing an overdue AC timer (automatic AC activation at night) they blamed the worker of the prior day and me for it (Me, that I took the handle, the staff that he didn't lock it.) I feel really sorry for the people working here.
Furthermore was a fully equipped kitchen depicted in the offer. This was not the case. They removed the stove 2 months ago. After heavy intervention with the regular staff and the manager, they initially canceled my stay partially, as from me suggested. Just when I left the hostel and asked via Booking.com about the refund, they said it has never been granted.
If you really need to book here, please report issues to booking.com.

It was very clean, the staff were very professional and spoke both English and Spanish.
The location was okay and only a short walk to the city centre.
I felt safe walking home alone at night.
I needed to change my booking because I was ill and couldn't travel, this was a difficult procedure and was initially refused, with persistence they allowed me to change my booking.
The 6 bed mixed dorm was small and airless and it was difficult to sleep, there were no windows and no natural light.
It was okay for two nights.

Every single person at the desk was so incredibly helpful and nice. They were ready to tackle the issue and help, as well as have a nice conversation.
The vibes were just so nice! The common space felt very inviting and like we could hang out there easily. Free coffee (good coffee) and tea all day!
The capsules were a new style of hostel for me, but I may actually prefer them! Every bed had a light, charging port and a little bag next to the bed.
Amazing placement, only 15 minute walk away from the main attractions.and squares.
I wish there would have been a stovetop of some kind in the kitchen. Instead just the toaster, panini press and microwave.

The staff was amazing, they helped me with everything I needed. The facilities are really good and always clean. One of the best hostels I have ever been. They have free coffee too and are prepared to solve any issue you have.

Friendly atmosphere and helpful staff
The automatic lights in the dorms, I understand the logic behind them but it just meant there was no way to move around without the lights going on and off, no matter what time it was.
