We loved this charming well appointed home! The location was perfect. We walked to breakfast, dinner and wine tasting. Comfortable beds and living room furniture. No oven, just a large toaster oven, if that’s important to you. Will definitely stay here again!

The house is super comfy and has everything you need. They did note there’s no oven or dishwasher but the convection oven works great. The AC took all afternoon/night to cool the house but the property manager was very responsive and even came to check on us in the morning to see if it had cooled off.
We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a place in the area.

Wonderful house for two couples with a great location. The only thing you need to do is make the key work on the front and back door.

House is ok. For the price, I would expect a sink disposal, dishwasher and exhaust fans in both bathrooms because if people park in the back, they come in thru one of the bedrooms and bathroom is immediately to the left. Other than that, bedrooms were comfortable.

The house was in a great location and easy access to everything. It has been updated really well and is as exactly as described. We were there for a weekend and it had everything we needed. We will be back.

Nicely furnished and great location. Weird that 6 can stay but no proper dining table. 4 stools at counter and a game table for 2 in LR.
Almost every coffee cup was chipped as many of the dishes. There was coffee but zero sweeteners. Never stayed at a short term that hasn’t had a few pantry items. Smoke alarms/carbon detectors strobed frequently during night.
It would be difficult to stay here more than a few nights which is a shame because it is a lovely little place!

Great choice for me and my husband and our 2 dogs (not completely fenced but plenty of area for pottying). Would also accommodate another couple nicely. Walk to the main drag, so very convenient.

Beautiful staycation from San Antonio with my elderly parents and my young daughter. Quiet neighborhood, absolutely lovely home with 2 large bedrooms and en suite bathrooms. We brought our 2 small dogs which completed the family. Just 1 block off of Main Street and so close to the lovely Christmas decorations of Fredericksburg! We will be coming back for wine tours in the next few months!

The house is a conversion of an old farmhouse. It’s located one street off of Main St. making walking to everything possible (it is on the west end so walks are long). The main house sleeps 4 adults comfortably though the second bath is fairly small and the shower tight. The main bedroom and bath are spacious. The kitchen is fair sized, modern, and usable, but you may want to bring your own pans if doing much cooking. There is no dishwasher. Overall, we loved the convenience to town and found it quite comfortable.

We loved Durst Haus. It is lovely, well appointed, feels like a secluded get away. However, we were a 3 minute walk from down town! The staff was easy to chat with and quick to respond. Highly recommend!

This was our first time to do a VRBO and it was fantastic. House was very clean and decor was updated and fresh. Location was close to Main Street.

House has been nicely remodeled. Someone clearly put in effort in the decor. It’s nice that it feels intentional and not just left over furniture someone put in their rental, especially at such a reasonable price point. Screened in patio was nice. The kitchen amenities were ok. No oven or dishwasher. Being a short term rental it’s fine. Just remember to buy a dish sponge. If you wanted specific kitchen items (e.g. a whisk or large frying pan) I’d bring that with, but not everyone cares about that. There was a coffee maker which was enough for us ;-)

First thing this house is cute like pics. Porch in back is great to sit on. Kitchen missing oven and dishwasher. No dish towels . There is a toaster oven and small grill. Master bedroom needs stool or trampolines to get in bed. We slept in other room the bed is awesome. Kinda noisy busy street. I’m not a fan of Fredericksburg in general. Very busy VERY overpriced.

I read the previous reviews and even though the property is very nice, little things were noted in previous reviews we’re still unaddressed such as the door knob very loose…the mattress on the brown sofa sleeper is badly stained and pillows were musty smelling. The outside of the building is in bad need of some wood replacement and paint. But the inside has been renovated and is very nice. I would consider renting this property again.

We enjoyed the proximity to Main St. Everything about the house was comfortable and accessible, and the kitchen was fully equipped.

We really enjoyed ourself. The house is a perfect size for our family of 3 and had everything we needed. The only issue we had was with the hot water in the master shower. It took some time to adjust the knobs properly to get hot water. But all in all it was a great place to stay.

The furniture and decor was great! However, there are some misleading statements in the description. There is no stove in the kitchen, just a range top and toaster oven. The advertised “grill” is a tiny butane camp burner on a wobbly table on the porch. The pictures of the front of the house lead one to believe it sits back from the road, this is not true..it sits close to the street. The front porch is not a quiet place to sit. The neighbor’s barking dogs and road noise can be heard throughout the house. Flickering lights, exposed bulbs, and missing fixtures are also in the house. The door knob fell off when we tried to close the master bedroom door. The shower fixtures are clogged and nothing sprays right, which is sad because they look nice until you try to use them. The master bathroom fan also didn’t work. We looked past all of this for the location and decor, but it is worth noting this property needs some work.

The house is in a great location. It is very close to everything on Main Street. The beds are very comfortable and he house is decorated nicely. My only complaint is the hot water did not work in the master bath room. The other shower worked just fine, so it was not a big deal.
