The tranquility of the place and the entire surrounding neighborhood. The host was great, she made sure that we were informed of everything we needed to be informed about ams was available on chat when needed.

The hosts were friendly, lovely people. Very warm and welcoming. The view and surroundings are amazing. I would recommend this to anyone looking for accommodation in Knysna. Amazing place!!

Conveniently located for a family visit and within easy reach of knysna and Sedgefield etc

This is a lovely little cottage attached to the main house. It is very tastefully decorated ,comfortable and spotlessly clean. Belvedere Estate feels very secure, no problems walking around even at dusk/dark. Although this is a bed only establishment there is a great little pub, the Bell within easy walking distance for lunches or evening meals. Breakfast was also an absolute pleasure at the Oak Leaf cafe just at the main gate. Our hosts were friendly and helpful on call if needed but otherwise unobtrusive. Beautiful location. The room looked out into a stunning garden.

I prefer a firmer bed but it wasn't a deal breaker.
