Restez à Retreat lors de votre prochaine visite sur la côte de Redwood. Cette magnifique maison de vacances Arcata de 3 chambres a été récemment terminée en avril 2019! Construit en 2005, cette maison est plus récente avec une sensation de fraîcheur et de détente. Villa Retreat a tout le nécessaire pour Redwood Coast Adventure.
Le salon est récemment décoré avec une esthétique calme et accueillante et de nombreux sièges. Il propose des jeux, une télévision connectée par câble, une connexion Internet sans fil et de belles photos. La cuisine est entièrement équipée avec toutes les commodités nécessaires et s'ouvre sur la salle à manger et le salon. Il y a 3 chambres à coucher. L'un a une reine et l'autre a un double. Chacune est calme, joliment décorée et dispose de tous les nouveaux lits en 2019. Le maître a un nouveau lit king et salle de bain privée. Il y a aussi beaucoup de parking et une terrasse privée à côté du salon et de la cuisine. De plus, les animaux de compagnie sont les bienvenus et il y a une cour clôturée à l'arrière pour le temps de jeu!
La Villa Retreat est située à environ 15 pâtés de maisons du centre-ville d'Arcata, où vous trouverez des magasins, des restaurants et le marché fermier du samedi. Il se trouve à quelques minutes en voiture de HSU et d'Arcata Redwood Park. Arcata est situé sur la côte de Redwood, à seulement 20 minutes des magnifiques plages de Trinidad, à 40 minutes du parc national de Redwood et du parc d'état de Prairie Creek Redwoods, à 10 minutes de la vieille ville d'Eureka et à 40 minutes de l'avenue des Géants. This sweet home was perfect for our weekend away. It was close to downtown stores and restaurants and offered all the amenities that we needed.

Overall property was great. Just 2 things to mention- the dishwasher was not emptied but we just treated it like a cupboard. The master shower head is broken so if you don’t have it straight, water spurts out the top all over the bathroom. We left it straight to see the issue you’ll need to angle it down.

very nice, front door was a bit tricky, the door tothe bath door lock wll lock but not unlock, got stuck for 5 minutes. The rest was good.

Great house. Roomy. Garage. Kitchen was decently stocked.
Our only complaint is that there is dog hair and very clearly a dog has lived here recently. White dog hair ended up on our packs. Our son is allergic to dogs so we weren’t psyched.
Other than that it was a great place in the Arcata bottoms.

I enjoyed the fact that the house was well equipped, comfortable, and clean. The front door code was problematic and I ended up having to contact the housekeeper who told me how to access an actual key. I would suggest offering renters the key option right up front to avoid the frustration of not being able to open the front door. Other than that, I really liked the house and would rent it again.

The location works well for us and none of the decor is so precious that I have to worry about the grandkids damaging anything. The floor plan is unique with the primary suite in the very back, with the bulk of a one-car garage between it and the living room and a large-ish laundry room between it and the two front bedrooms. It’s a great arrangement with older children, but might be an issue with very young ones.

Brought some friends to visit my CalPoly student. This house was clean, conveniently located, great parking, great kitchen, easy check in. We had a blast hiking, shopping the Saturday market, hunting for agates at Agate Beach, visiting Sue-meg State Park. Will definitely be back!

This place was ver comfortable for my family and myself. We stayed two nights while seeing the avenue of the giants. We left a few items and they shipped it to us very quickly.

This home worked very well for two seniors and two school-aged grandchildren. It’s in a quiet area, has a south-facing deck (a very good thing in chilly, damp Arcata!) and lots of windows in the kitchen/great room area. We appreciated that it was nice, but not model-home-perfect. A few little imperfections made it feel more like home. The location is convenient to the shops and restaurants of Arcata with about a 15 minute walk.

The kitchen was stocked with pretty much everything you would need to cook meals including spices. Super quiet, parking in the driveway and street parking. We felt extremely safe here. The pictures online were a clear representation of the house. Actually seemed a bit larger, super happy with our choice.

House could use some add'l amenities to make it 5 star vs 4 star. Essentials in my mind include coffee filters, foil/saran wrap which were missing. We bought and left for the next person. Some cozy blankets would be nice too while watching tv, we just had to bundle up with our sweatshirts/jackets.

The house is in a quiet neighborhood with a well-equipped kitchen, and very comfortable beds. We enjoyed the game cupboard and even worked a jigsaw puzzle. Five family members from three generations would definitely rent this property again.

This was one of the most demeaning experience renting through VRBO, which I have been doing with my family for years. I have had one other previous experience with Vacasa before which was sub-optimal, and I had thought that was an outlier. However, after this experience, I will not rent myself, and if asked, will strongly discourage others as well. I do not want to spend more energy describing the issues, I have attempted to do so to the customer interfaces I have interacted with and the experience has been infuriating at worse, and unsatisfactory at best. There are enough options outside of Vacasa, and am glad the properties that are rented through you are marked clearly so I can avoid them in the future.

My family and I stayed here during a visit to Cal Poly Humboldt. We were immediately impressed with how incredibly clean the property was. Checking in was a bit difficult. Vacasa was supposed to send us an email with check-in information but we didn't know that. We arrived at 11p after a long drive, so trying to figure everything out was frustrating. We got the door code and Wi-Fi info after calling Vacasa. Despite that trouble, this vacation rental is still a 5-star place. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking gear, utensils, and basics (oil, spices, etc.). We didn't eat out once during our 3-night stay! My only suggestions are a medium sized sauce pan (something in between the small sauce pan and large stock pot) and a few extra trash bags. Having access to a washer and dryer cut down on the amount of clothing we had to bring with us as well as gave me the opportunity to bring home all clean clothes. The beds and linens were comfortable and there was plenty of space for 5 adults and 1 child. Thank you, Michelle (owner), for sharing your space with us!

The home was in quiet neighborhood. The layout was great! Our only issue was the water pressure when taking a shower. They have water saver showers. However, it took longer to rinse off. Therefore, a longer shower time. Are other issue was we ran out of toilet paper. The back yard for the dog was Great! We had a wonderful time visiting with our daughter. We would gladly stay again!

This place was so comfortable for the four of us. We really felt at home and will stay here next time we visit family. Check-in and departure were easy. The property manager was super by when we needed her. Highly recommend!

Great base for our Redwood Coast vacation. Arcata is charming, neighborhood felt safe, and our 2 kids and 3 dogs were all very comfortable. Backyard was perfect for the Doggos and each kid had a nice size room. Beds were comfortable enough and there were plenty of dishes and towels.

Very comfortable…not hard and not too soft! We could walk to a local bakery in the morning and get tasty treats and it was also very close to the Holly Yashi store. While we were in Arcata we visited Trinidad and the Avenue of the Giants. This home was well located to explore the hidden treasures of this area. We also enjoyed the puzzles that were provided and even added one that we brought from home and completed while we were there. In all it was a perfect place for our family. Thanks so much🥰

Good home base for family adventure
Clean and well stocked and welcoming to our family of 5 and our dog. We had a great home base for exploring Trinidad, the Redwoods, Arcata, and just relaxing in the house. Lots of great kitchen supplies! Our only complaints were: more blankets, more sponges and dishtowels for actually using the kitchen!

Very Comfortable
The spacious rooms, living room, and kitchen are wonderful. The kitchen is very well stocked and clean. The only thing missing was one or more boxes of tissue--we ended up pulling out an extra roll of TP for the living room to blow our noses with. There is only one hot pad--two would have been helpful to lift a heavy baking dish out of the oven. Also, one or two trivets would be useful.

Lots of Room with Awesome Location
This house was perfect for our stay. There is a fenced area in back that was perfect for our dog. The location was quiet. We had room for all of us. The master bedroom and bath is very spacious, Convenient to get to downtown Arcata or to HSU. Will look to stay here again.
