Beautiful property in a central area making it a great location to stay. Nice and spacious, the view was calming, youre in the trees so it was very picturesque with the large windows. Clean and comfy beds, good kitchen to cook in. Overall a great stay!

The house was awesome! Ski lodge feel, great kitchen and LOTs of space…it was a treat in the morning to watch the birds and squirrels. Beds were comfy and the decks were a great way to spend time outside! Will stay here again next time we’re in Girdwood!!

Spacious house with the most comfortable beds we had on our journey! This house has so much character built into it and the decor was woodsy and charming. My daughter especially loved the windows and the spiral staircase. Also enjoyed feeding peanuts to the stellar blues out on the patio. Close to Alyeska and restaurants in Girdwood. Definitely recommend!

Our family had an incredible time staying at this chalet. The bedrooms were very comfortable and each had an en-suite! We really enjoyed the living room and kitchen, especially the views and wildlife outside! Great location, easy to walk to restaurants nearby. Definitely looking forward to staying here again!

Quick stop for us, the house worked well! Great showers, appreciated the Keurig with many coffee choices.

The interior is beautiful and spacious; exactly like the images online. Beautiful wood burning fireplace, wrap around decks, first class appliances, fabulous water pressure and shower heads. We fed these beautiful blue birds that peck on the window and squirrels right out of hands. There are flying squirrels for evening entertainment. Peanuts and birdie food in the cupboard. Trees are massive and overall scenery is very impressive. 4 minutes from Alyeska Nordic Spa with outdoor hot baths and cold plunge baths, steam rooms and heated salt rooms. The 5-9 twlight admission was only $59 rather than $119.00 Five minutes to gas station, ice cream, gift shops and fabulous pizza. Very clean and super comfy. Good communication with owners. Cant say enough...price is also a bargain. So very thankful to have found this place.

House was just as advertised and the perfect place to spend a night between Anchorage and Seward. We had 7 people in 2 families (kids age 3-8) and the space was large and accommodated us well. From here, did the Virgin Creek Falls hike and the Alyeska Tram which were super close.

We had a great stay! The house was immaculate and accommodated our group well! Paula was quick to answer any and all questions we had! We will definitely stay here again some day!

This house is amazing! Comfortably fit 6 adults, gorgeous views, great location. We were there only one night after spending 5 nights in an RV in Hatcher Pass, Denali NP, and Talkeetna on our way to the Kenai Peninsula, and its luxury was so welcome! I'm sure it would be really great in the winter due its proximity to the ski resort, its epic views, and overall coziness. The summer stay price point was very reasonable.

Traveling with 3 grandchildren. They explored the house, exclaiming “they have a toaster oven and games!!! Grandaughter loved the cozy lower level bedroom. Doing the SpencerGlacier/placer River float today! Hope the rain holds off.

Nice place.well quipped and comfortable. Enjoyed the stellar jays and magpies that came to the window for food. Girdwood is a nice small town with train station close by and we were close to alpine air where we caught a helicopter to dog sledding . Also nice trails at the aleyeska resort

This place is stunning on the inside! It is spacious and so clean. Kitchen stocked with everything! Did I mention clean? Beyond clean. Would definitely stay there again. The pictures on the Vrbo site does not magnify the amazing quality of this house.

My family and I all agreed that this was our favorite house rental in our 2 weeks in Alaska! Not only did Paula communicate quickly, but she and her husband thought of everything in their beautiful home! Extra outlet plugs for charging, fully stocked kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms and extra air mattresses plus toys (which our young children utilized). The home was amazingly clean when we arrived and we wish we could’ve stayed longer than the 2 nights we booked. Thank you Paula for a wonderful stay! You’re a great host!

Wonderful and clean place with a big kitchen

I frequent Girdwood and have stayed in multiple rentals. This place is A+. Awesome open layout so makes visiting with families and friends easy. Comfortable bedding, great kitchen, awesome location, clean, and comes with all amenities that you would need. We will definitely stay here again!

Open floorplan with tree trunks on the inside and large windows for the great room gave a nice feeling of space and outdoors. The kitchen was furnished with modern appliances. If one has a large group as we did, a few might have to stand in the kitchen as there is seating space at the kitchen counter for 5. We were flexible so it was not that big of deal. Owners helped us manage our recycleables from our camping trip that we were having a hard time getting dropped off.

Lovely home and peaceful surroundings! So sorry we only had one night to enjoy Girdwood. We loved your home and the stellar blues - so much fun! Thank you for your hospitality.

Great house in a beautiful area. It would be difficult for someone to stay there who has mobility challenges due to the stairs and placement of bars in the bathroom that do not provide the support actually needed. We were able to make it work, but elders may have difficulty staying there. Otherwise, great place to stay!
