Another lovely stay in this house. It has everything you need and it's close to the beach, main street and the park. We all enjoyed our time in the pool, the 4th of July fireworks and our time together.

We had a wonderful time! The house was super convenient to the beach and other amenities. We also enjoyed the pool and making several family meals. We would choose this place again. The only thing that need me attention is the deadbolt keypad needs a new battery since it kept sticking. After several tries we still got in so all was well.

Pelican Pad is a beautiful home just one block off the beach. The pool and outdoor space is stunning with beautiful landscaping. It has all the amenities needed and a generous supply of beach and pool toys. The area has a more local feel and it was an easy walk to the market, a Cuban cafe, the surf shop and pizza. Our family loved it and will definitely be back!

Spent a week at pelican pad and it was wonderful! Very nice house, clean, 5 min walk to the beach, coffee and local grocery . Great amount of space and bathrooms. Tons of outside dining/hang out space and the pool was perfect! Highly recommend if you are looking for a fun family getaway!

Glorious weeks one week with our family, a week with my wife's siblings, a week with my Wife's friends, a week with our joint friends. This was a repeat adventure with the Pelican Pad and all our visitors were thrilled with the place. Everything was amazing. The home was equipped with everything you could need. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean and nicely decorated. The yard is a private sanctuary! The pool was wonderful! Being in walking distance of the beach, a beach bar and restaurant, local market, pizza place, pharmacy and ice cream shop was a definite plus! The owner, Greg, is a warm person and fantastic host. It is very apparent he wants your experience to be top notch, from how the home is cared for and his responsiveness to questions! Definitely will return for a third, fourth,... time. I kind of hate letting the world know how great this place is because they will then be my competitors, but Greg deserved for everyone to know that all of his places and rentors get the same great TLC.

Great stay. House was clean and tidy. Within walking distance to beach. Nice pool area and quiet neighborhood. This is our 5th time visiting the Melbourne Beach area, lots of things to do and great local restaurants.

We came to Melbourne to play in a softball tournament at the USSSA Space Coast and found this house for our family and one other. There were 8 of us (4 adults & 4 kids). The photos were accurate of the descriptions and the house was very comfortable for all of us. Greg, the owner, was always very responsive and helpful leading up to and during our trip, helping me understand how far away we would be from the ballpark and any other questions I had.
We were very surprised to see just how many “extras” were provided. Greg has really thought about the whole family experience! There were plenty of beach chairs & wagon for the beach and plenty of pool toys/amenities as well. Having a pool in the backyard was a welcome reprieve after a hot day at the ballpark and we were only a block away from the beach.
All in all, we loved our stay at the house and didn’t feel like we had to go find “sights” to see because we wanted to enjoy the Pelican Pad! We will definitely look to rebook should softball bring us back to the Space Coast.

The house and location were everything our family of 7 were hoping it would be! Greg was awesome and checked in on us within a couple of days after check in to the house. A short walk to the non crowded beach was really nice! We would definitely stay here again of in the area! Thanks so much, Greg!

My three sisters and I along with spouses rented this facility for a week to visit with our brother and his wife, who live in Palm Bay, FL. This was perfect because it was convenient in location to the beach, had a pool and very well maintained!! The 4 bedrooms gave us each privacy and there were plenty of gathering places for all..especially around the pool!! We will return to this facility again!! Thank you for sharing thls gem!

Our stay at Pelican Pad was perfect! Greg is an excellent host, always kind and very thoughtful! Pelican Pad and Pelican Pier are both wonderful houses for families or groups of friends to enjoy sunny Florida! The location is excellent with easy access to the beach, local shops and restaurants and the Melbourne Market! Both properties are very comfortable and very well stocked making for a very easy and enjoyable stay! Greg has plenty of pool accessories and beach gear to use while at the house. Greg also notified us when there was a launch from Cape Canaveral while we were there, and we were able to view that from the backyard! Looking forward to returning soon! This home could not have been more comfortable for our family. There were 6 of us staying, but additional family members joined us for celebrations at the home and there was so much space. The kitchen was very well equipped and there was an abundance of linens and pillow and towels and beach supplies. Really couldn’t have asked for anything better. Even got to watch a rocket launch from the yard. We will definitely stay again.

One of the better VRBOs we have rented in our 5 years of coming to Florida for a yearly vacation. We choose to come and deal with whatever Hurricane Ian had coming for us. Communication with Greg was amazing. He took time out of his travels to call us a few times and make sure we were good. He was there when needed even for little things like turning up the pool temp. The house it self was perfect for the first few days we were stuck there due to weather. The house was clean and stocked well with plenty of cozy blankets, bedding, and pillows for us. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans even a crock pot which came in handy. It was very home like for us. Walk to the beach was the best part for us. To be able to just pick up and walk there within a block whenever was a change for us, usually we have to load up the car and then drive 10-20 minutes to the beach. They have everything there for the beach umbrellas, coolers, boogie boards, and plenty of chairs (which were amazing. They had a big pocket for everything, it’s own cooler, and you wore them as a backpack). Pool and pool area was very nice. With all kinds of pool floats and toys, even stuff for toddlers and babies. Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. When we went for walks to the beach or the intercoastal there was always people out walking, biking, or on their golf carts, and they all where nice and friendly. Many insured us the hurricane would be fine and we would be safe. Overall it was a great week at the house and the beach. A great refresher and getaway for us all.

We stayed here for a week and it was the perfect house for our family to all be together. Whether it was around the pool and outdoor seating area or in the large living room area. The house was perfect for our group to spend our family vacation together. It was a short walk to the beach and the house had beach chairs and umbrellas for us to use which was great so we didn't have to buy or bring them. The host was responsive in all of the questions that I had.

The home and host were amazing. The pictures online do a good job of representing the house as it looks but staying there was really much much more. The house was clean, well equipped, and immediately felt comfortable. It has a very relaxing vibe as soon as you walked in. We spent most of our time on the back patio which was much better than we expected – you can soak in the pool, lounge in the sun, cool off under the ceiling fans on the back patio - - just a perfect set-up and beautiful. A decent size grill was right there when we got hungry. The location was also better than expected. The beach was a very short walk (chairs, beach wagon, were supplied), there is a small, family-owned store just 3 blocks away, as well as a few restaurants and bars within walking distance.
Greg was very responsive when booking, checked in on our arrival day to make sure everything was good, and then sent a friendly reminder on our checkout date. I appreciated the little notes posted on doors etc. They were small & subtle but enough info to know what/when to lock things, etc. – took all the guess work out of staying at the house.
One of our favorite properties. We are looking forward to visiting it again.

Second year to stay at this great house with a relaxing backyard/pool oasis… with pool toys and beach gear! ‘Love having the very quiet beach so close too! As a large family, the laundry room is key! Also, Greg went totally out of his way to make a repair before we arrived - and made sure everything was as described, like the right number of beach towels.
We love the convenience of the shops/restaurants 3 blocks away.
All 8 of us loved our time at this house again!

Upon checking in we were greeted with a perfectly clean and well kept house. We travel with a 3 year old and a nine month old the house was extremely baby/toddler ready there was even a gate in the garage that when installed wraps around the entire pool putting our minds at ease when our three year old wanted to play outside. I would honestly give this house a 10/10 and the host Greg was communicative and always ready to help so I’d also give the host a 10/10. We fully intend on using this property again you can’t go wrong with this place it really is a perfect place for a beach trip

Relaxing
This was our first time booking through VRBO and visiting Melbourne Beach, Florida. Everything was perfect! Pelican pad is in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to the beach as well as restaurants. The home was very clean and welcoming. The kitchen was well-equipped and had everything we needed. The back yard is beautiful and relaxing. I Would 100% recommend staying at Pelican Pad.

Great house
This was our second stay at this house. House was clean, pool was great. Only one block to the beach which almost felt like a private beach, very few people there. We were able to see a rocket launch from the beach. Won’t take much convincing from the kids to come back to this house. Owner was wonderful.

Never been to Melbourne beach before this trip always been a Clearwater Beach visitor-
