We were very happy about the property! Very inviting, warm feeling my wife and kids enjoyed it! First time visiting the area and we enjoyed everything!

My friends and I met on Oak Island for the Pledge The Pink 33.3 mile breast cancer awareness walk. Cindy and Mark’s home was perfectly located for this event and, was a comfortable fit for us. The screened porch was a relaxing area to share dinner, laughter and make more memories. Thank you for opening your home!

We went down to take family photos on beach. We had a great time, kids loved their own area.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house was perfect for our family…the adults all had nice, comfortable rooms and the kids loved the bunk beds. Previous renters were right about the porch - it is a great place to hang out! Only wish the back yard was fenced in. We’ll come back again!

Property was beautiful, clean, comfortable, large enough for everyone. Safe, secure. Kitchen was great, every drawer and cabinet labeled; has everything you need. Beds were very comfortable. Great location to beach and intercoastal waterway. Golf cart rental is a must. Local area restaurants/bars were very nice. Looking forward to coming down to Oak Island again.

Our stay was great this past week on Oak Island! This was our first visit to OKI and we loved it! The house worked wonderfully for our family!! The teenagers had their own oasis upstairs and the adults were downstairs. The house was very well equipped and the owners were very responsive to any questions we had!!

Family had a great stay. Our host was great and easy to touch base with if we had questions. Our home was spacious and clean. We had a wonderful time

The house is just as described and is lovely. It has ample bedroom space and a wonderful screened porch that we really enjoyed. There is everything you could want in the kitchen and the garage is well stocked as well. It's a nice quiet street and the kids had a great time riding the bikes provided. There was an issue with the dryer while we were there but they went over and above to quickly resolve the issue.

We loved staying at this property! It was ideal for a week at the beach with my sister's family, my family, and my mom. The main bedrooms were on the first floor, so the teenager and college students had their own space upstairs.(That also meant that my mom didn't have to climb the stairs to get to her room, the kitchen, etc.) The bunk beds were ideal for them. The garage had a lot of items that were so convenient. We didn't use anything except the fridge and the storage area, but it was nice to have all the bikes, beach toys, chairs, corn hole game, etc. there just in case. The upstairs had so many board games and even books to choose from. The kitchen was well-appointed and had lots of spices, utensils, pots/pans, dishes, etc. We didn't need anything. Really, the house had everything possible to make the house comfortable. Our favorite spot was the screened-in porch. We sat out there most of the time enjoying the weather and each others' company. The beach is not within walking distance, but the owner does not hide this fact. We drove down every day, but beware: Oak Island is charging to park at the beach accesses now. It is $20/day or $80/week. That was something new and frustrating about the area. Also, we had to take two cars to the beach so all of us could be together, and finding an access with two available spots wasn't always easy. No fault of the owners AT ALL, but it's just something to think about and plan for. Great trip and property overall! Thanks again!

This was our first family vacation with all of our children after our we marriage. Enough bedrooms, and enough space to make sure everyone had their own privacy, but yet we’re easily able to be part of the family unit. Had a great time we will be back.

Cindy was very easy to reach but I did not need a thing. This property was the most fully equipped and stocked VRBO that I have ever stayed at. Everything was labeled for easy use. The garage had an abundance of all needed for the beach. We had a fabulous time with being reunited with our daughter and son in law. There were umbrellas, pack and play, stroller for a person traveling with a child. The kitchen was so well stocked you didn’t need to bring extra trash bags, dish detergent etc. There was even a straw dispenser along with everything needed to cook, bake and serve meals. Such a pleasant surprise. Definitely would recommend and return!

We rented Long Time No Sea because it is mainly 1 floor and we were having some NC family join us. The house is so convenient to everything and had even more amenities than we expected! The porch was our gathering area most of the time we were at the house. Thank you and we look forward to returning!

This was our first time visiting Oak Island. The house was perfect for our family and had so many amenities that we were so surprised to find when we arrived! The house and the location was absolutely perfect for us!!We will definitely be returning to this location if we need this large of a house again! The hosts were so accessible to communicate with! Whenever I had a question they were very quick in their response and so nice to work with 😁 Highly recommend!!

The place is awsome! Plenty of room. Very clean! Everything is at your fingertips store wise. I took my boat. Plenty of parking and dock is 5 blocks away. Definitely recommend this place.

It was very enjoyable week. The house is comfortable and relaxing. We didn't really go out much, so we really took full use of the house. We had a nice Thanksgiving dinner and they had all the dishes and utensils that we needed. Great place to stay.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The host was most gracious to allow full access of the contents and facility. There are some improvements I feel would be great for guests. A graveled parking area along the street, as well as widening the parking area on both sides of the driveway. Didn't really care for the foam mattress's and some of the furniture is on the short side, hard to get up out of when you old !

Great floor plan for our group of 4 adults and two children. Liked the separation of the bedrooms that gave early risers access to kitchen/porch area without waking the grandkids and the location in quiet residential neighborhood close to stores and beach. Beds were comfortable and home was well stocked with kitchen/laundry supplies and toys/games/beach supplies. Communications with Mark and Cyndi were great from booking through check out process. This was our first stay on Oak Island and we look forward to return visits.

We just got back from a week-long stay at Long Time No Sea. What a great place to stay! The home was very clean, comfortable, and the sun porch is a great place to hang out. The kitchen is very well stocked with all you need to make a great meal, from tons of silverware to a crockpot, and even a stand mixer. The bedrooms are nicely decorated, and the loft is amazing, with a lot of games for the kiddos. The upstairs bedroom has a double over double bunk and all beds were comfortable with microfiber linens.The neighborhood is quiet without any traffic, lots of people walking their dogs throughout the day. The hosts were very communicative throughout the week and responded immediately when we had an issue with the shower door in the master bedroom. I highly recommend Long Time No Sea.

We were delighted by how thoughtful all of the details were. The hosts really tried to think of everything you might want for a beach vacation. You don’t need to bring your own beach chairs or umbrellas, beach bags or card games. We especially loved how well everything was labeled and instructions were clear, simple, and easily accessible. Our group enjoyed our stay here! The hosts were very communicative and the check-in/check-out process was smooth and efficient. We felt there was plenty of space for three families of three and enjoyed the proximity to the main area in f shops, etc. and the public beach access.

The owners were very accommodating and the location was wonderful.

The house was great! We had 6 adults and 2 children, with plenty of room and space for everyone. There is easily room for 6 kids upstairs, in bunk beds, and 3 lovely bedrooms downstairs. The house is bigger than it looks in the pictures and everyone had space to relax and do their own thing when they wanted. Our pups loved the screened in sun porch to lounge. The neighborhood is quiet and great for walks and bike rides. There were lots of extras and items left to share for use at the house or the beach. Everything you need to cook is in the kitchen, seasoning and spices, some staples in the pantry, and 2 groceries very close. We cooked and ate most our meals at the house. Mark and Cindy were amazing to communicate with, very fast responses. Thank you for the house and all the help! Our vacation was made easy and wonderful!

Our family had an excellent vacation at this lovely home. The neighborhood was quiet, and we enjoyed several walks around the blocks in the evenings. The beach wasn't far, and there is a dock about two streets away. The hosts were excellent communicators and made sure we were taken care of.

I almost don't want to give this place such a great review - because I know it will become popular the minute people realize what a great rental it is! (plus it will be harder to book it next year). This was one of the best VRBO experiences that I have ever had. The owner was fantastic in communicating with us and sending reminders. The house is well stocked with all the stuff, and the beds were comfortable. All I have to say is I don't think you will be disappointed. Just so you are aware- the house is not directly on the beach - it is on the other side of the island near the Intercoastal water way - I would suggest a golf cart if you are avid beach goers. The house is still perfect.

This was a nice home with lots of space to spread out. Lots of perks for small kids. We had trouble with some of the major appliances and we were not able.to use the washing machine as needed. Overall, it was a great week.
