Quiet place!

We decided to stay here because of the proximity to Lanakai Beach – and it was fabulous! Check in directions provided via text message were clear, and parking was easy. The inside of the unit was decent. Comfortable bed, bathroom necessities, and kitchen basics (small fridge, microwave, and electric cooking plate). The lock on the building entrance occasionally gave us some trouble, but other then that we felt secure and had a nice stay.

This large studio was clean, welcoming, nicely supplied and had a fantastic backyard view from the balcony. Really appreciated the off-street parking (critical!). Lovely beaches right in the neighborhood and a fun downtown a short drive away. Did not know before that Oahu was so beautiful!

Close to the most beautiful beach! Close to the charming town of Kailua! Close to a great hike! The back porch is a wonderful place to hang out and the space itself is cozy and clean.

Great place - nice location, good size, great having chairs and beach towels and a cooler. Kitchenette was perfect for a few days stay. Enjoyed the quiet neighborhood.

It was a wonderful home away from home. Everything was pristine, in working order, right across street was popular beach& many others close.. It is close to stores & wonderful Restaurants! So happy with our stay and all the nice amenities. Mahalo 🌺

The room itself was nice but the host hovered over the honeymoon couple and made them feel uncomfortable. The host came to their room three days after they had stayed there and said there were new updated rules. The host questioned the newly married wife about what happened to her injured knee whilst giving her new husband looks?? Really uncomfortable since she had already been informed that there had been an injury to the knee prior to the trip . Also received a random addional $200 charge on top of the up front paid quote through Expedia and an addional $100 cleaning fee that had already been paid. The couple said they made the bed and took the trash out of the room. Never again on this property

Nice tropical retreat. Could sit on porch during rains, walk on the beach and swim during sun. Was what we needed.

Excellent price, superb location — it’s definitely not easy to find something in Kailua, much less a well-equipped comfortable studio with relaxing lovely decor. Minor downsides are thin walls and small towels (the bath towels were the size of larger bath towels, but you can always use the beach towels). We didn’t notice complimentary beach chairs in the outdoor storage until too late — use them!

Perfect location, great accommodations, very comfortable. I had a great stay! Walkable to Kailua town.

The Lanikai house was great had a parking space, firm bed, and clean. Property manager let us know if we had any problems she would take care of it. Planning on returning and staying next time we are there.

Lanikai Beach was the best beach, hands down, that we visited on either Oahu or Maui. While I did see a couple of jellyfish on the last day (be careful!) this beach had great snorkeling, swimming, and the BEST sunrise. If going for the sunrise, give yourself a good 20-25 minutes before the actual sunrise time to make sure you can see it come up. It was one of the best things we saw on our entire trip. All of the other beaches offered surf that was too rough, but Lanikai was just so, so beautiful. And this unit is literally 3-4 houses from the public access, which was less than a 5 minute walk to be on the beach. Beach chairs, umbrella, snorkeling gear and more were available. The parking is tight, so try to have a smaller car, but after seeing the parking situation in the area, you’ll definitely be glad you have a spot. Also, it was just so awesome to be away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. If you want a more quiet and tranquil stay on Oahu, this is the place for you. The unit itself was great! The AC worked well enough and we were just fine with having a microwave, toaster, and fridge. Just be aware, there are only a few restaurants in the area that stay open on the later side, seemingly due to COVID, so plan your dinners accordingly!

This studio is a great deal. I had a second floor studio with a gorgeous garden view. Lighting by the stone walk at the entrance would be useful. The studio was nice, terrific location almost across from a beach access. The bed was extremely comfortable. For me, the single thing that would greatly improve the experience would be a new, much quieter air conditioner. I will like definitely stay there again and tell others, especially if the air conditioner were updated.

What a wonderful place. The window cooler made the stay a perfect temperature. The bed and pillows made for a great night sleep. Literally 2min from a beautiful spacious beach. We sighted 5 sea turtles. This condo is an easy 15 min walk from food and fun. I can’t recommend this place enough. I almost don’t want to tell anyone about this little jewel because I want to keep it all to myself. I k ow you will enjoy your stay as much as we did if you stay here. Easy check in. They even provided small body care amenities sunscreen aloe body wash… enjoy. They have umbrellas beach chairs and beach towels. Everything you meed. Your beach home away from home.

Very close to Lanikai beach access. Perfect base for exploring Oahu. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the studio had all we needed to have breakfasts in the room after a trip to the grocery store to stock up. Hosts were very friendly and responsive. Did not hear any noise from other guests. There is a window AC unit and 2 fans, but sometimes it took a bit of time to cool down the room. This was adequate for us and we would still overall highly recommend this rental. Would love to come back one day.

Great location, cute place, host was responsive. Only negative was the towels all smelled very musky, but in all fairness I never said anything. Had a great stay.

Excellent location, walking distance to Lanakai beach and the Lanakai pillbox hike and a short drive to Kailua. Studio was clean and well furnished with a great tree covered balcony. Yes, you can hear your neighbors but the noise level is typical for city living. We found it very quiet at night and sleeping was not an issue. Pixie was very accommodating and responsive. We would 100% stay again!

Studio is clean and across the street from Lanakai beach. The hosts are very friendly and great communication regarding access and availability. We had a fabulous stay!

Overall it was a great experience, nice place , very close to the beach . The host responded in timely manner !! Recommended!!!

You can't ask for a better location! This studio is right across the street from Lanikai Beach and is a steal for the price. The hostess was so hospitable and easy to work with. Property was clean and peaceful but a little dated.

Couldn’t have asked for a better stay! The location and accommodations were more than perfect! Also the host was super hospitable and an amazing baker often leaving us treats! Will definitely be back sooner than later :)

That being said, during our trip to Oahu this time it ended up being our least favorite place to stay. It wasn't clear from the listing that the suite is one of a few (at least 3?) in an older house with not much sound proofing. Everything your neighbors talk about you can hear well. Sleeping with windows open wasn't even an option for us. We had to use the (quite noisy) AC and ear plugs, both, to sleep. Coffee in the morning on lanai would have been good except again, you get to hear every story people next to you are sharing with their friends and family. If you want solitude and quietness, it's not the place. If you're a light sleeper, it won't work for you.Another issue we had is lack of fan or window in the bathroom. Smells and moisture had to go directly in the living area. Awkward and unexpected. Towels stayed moist throughout our stay (the rack on the balcony is too tiny to use for regular towels, beach towels, swim suits).There are no basics in the kitchen. I always feel like buying sugar and salt for few days is a waste of product, same goes for cooking oil. There were not promised in the listing, but still inconvenient for most out of state travelers.Altogether, since the suite doesn't have a full kitchen, or a view, or washer/dryer (not expected - just for value reasons), everything else would have to be amazing to be a great rental for us. Unfortunately, it wasn't the case and didn't compare well to our other rental experiences of the same price point (we travel a lot).I think the place has a lot of potential and Pixie is caring host. If none of the things above are a big deal for you, it's a good place to stay close to a beautiful beach. If the details I mentioned were available before booking, that would have helped me to pick a place that better suits our needs.

Excellent location just across from Lanikai beach. Pixie and Andy were very helpful when we had questions and we enjoyed meeting them. We would stay here again. Rental was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay
