La cordialità iniziale dimostrata dallo staff.

La posizione della casa era in una strada molto buia e isolata. La stanza si presentava apparentemente carina e il bagno un pò piccolo (c'era solo il wc con il telefono della doccia mentre il lavabo era fuori). Dopo esser stati un pò nella stanza cominciamo a sentire dell'odore sgradevole (puzza di chiuso, di cantina e di umidità) che non cessava anche con le finestre e la porta aperta. Abbiamo optato di far arieggiare bene la stanza e restare un pò nella cucina comune (la cui pulizia era alquanto discutibile per via dello sporco e dell'unto sul tavolo e l'impossibilità di mettere anche solo una bottiglietta nel frigo in quanto sporco e maleodorante). Tornati nella stanza l'odore sembrava sparito ma appena chiusa la porta e le finestre tornava più forte di prima. Essendo molto tardi non abbiamo voluto disturbare il ragazzo del check in e abbiamo così deciso di arrangiarci alla meglio lasciando qualche spiffero aperto e spruzzando del deodorante. La nottata si prospettava ancora lunga perchè abbiamo provato a farci la doccia ma abbiamo scoperto che l'acqua (anche del lavandino) era di colore giallo e puzzava di fogna. Quindi niente doccia! ma almeno avevamo un letto sul quale poter dormire qualche ora, e invece.... lenzuola e cuscini sporchi! Per concludere abbiamo passato quasi tutta la notte seduti nella cucina comune perchè l'odore della stanza ci faceva venire il mal di testa e abbiamo dormito solo un'ora nella stanza con le finestre aperte e un telo che copriva il letto sporco! La mattina dopo siamo dovuti partire presto e non siamo riusciti a parlare con il gestore e non abbiamo trovato nessuno anche al pomeriggio quando siamo ritornati a prendere gli zaini (che gentilmente ci avevano fatto lasciare nella casa). Abbiamo contattato il gestore qualche giorno dopo dicendogli i problemi avuti e se poteva rimborsarci il soggiorno ma si è arrabbiato smentendo il tutto.

This is a relatively new, small, clean, guest house. The rooms are compact but have all the amenities you would expect. There is a small kitchen where you can prepare meals if you choose. Owner is helpful and concerned that your needs are being met. Price is very inexpensive for what you recieve.

If you wish to be in the heart of the tourist scene this gh is not for you. You will need to bring your own transport to get to shops or tourist sites. Location is in an everyday Balinese neigbborhood. Not bad but not what some travellers might expect.

What a wonderful family, couldn't do enough for you. I now have a extended family because they are part of mine and I thiers. The local people are the friendlyest I have ever met.

Room was nice

Water on the sink was very slow. But its not a big problem. Everything was nice.

Yoga the owner was extremely knowledgeable about the area and the travel industry in Bali. He was able to provide guidance and answer all our queries. The room had cold air-con service, hot water in the shower as well as a hanging rack for our clothes. A small kitchen was also available which we used to cook our simple breakfast.

Some of the water leaked out from under the door as the length of the door was a bit short.

Stuff very polite, good position for surfing. You can rent the scooter from the hotel for less then 60k! Beautiful family, the area is nice, isn't too tourist and chaotic

discount price for basic room ( like a lokal rumah kos ) - which was all I wanted- a place to sleep. My host was very accomodating in that I arrived after midnight and he contacted me and made provision for that XTRA Late check-in so I could do it myself after his staff left for the night .(dear soul was available until midnight!!) So I was impressed with his responsiveness and that he made sure to contact me and take care of my needs
