Instructions about the air conditioning were unclear. When I complained the next day that we had been too hot because we'd been told not to touch the controls (there was an obvious misunderstanding!) the host suggested that maybe my French wasn't good enough to understand that he only meant that we not change the mode. That was insulting. My French is near-native and my husband, who understood the same thing as me, is a native speaker. The temperature was perfect when we were shown the apartment and I had not realized that the host had turned it off just before we entered. No big deal, but it would be good to have written instructions about the air-conditioner. (I couldn't call for clarification because we got back to the apartment after midnight). The sheets were very old and worn: I suggest you replace them. Also, it would be nice if you could provide pool towels.
