We enjoyed our trip to stay in Cherokee! The cabin was great and had everything we needed. We loved playing down by the stream and enjoyed all of the swings and rocking chairs outside!

What a great cabin for kids! Our kiddos (2-8) loved playing in the creek, collecting rocks, and staying cool! Easy drive to Cherokee and Sylva. Cabin had everything we needed! We will be back!

My family (and dog) loved this house! The house was very clean, we had no problems with our stay. My boys enjoyed the loft as their little hideout. I think my favorite was the creek and swings. It gave us something to do on the property during down on vacation. I loved watching my boys and dog play in the creek and pushing them on the swings.

Nice woodsy cabin by a creek. It’s a bit precarious to get down to the creek but we were too busy to get to spend time at there anyway.

These was a beautiful and quiet little place to stay with plenty of room. My children loved the creek! Best part little cell service so we got to spend time with each other! My wife, 4 kids (10,11,13,14) and myself really enjoyed our time together.

Beautiful cabin. Well stocked with cooking supplies. Very clean. Beds were pretty comfortable. I enjoyed every morning having my coffee on the deck listening to the creek. Close to everything and everyone we were visiting. We all very much enjoyed staying here and would love to stay again next time we come down.

This was an amazing cabin. Close to everything we wanted to see in Cherokee. This cabin had a nice wood burning stove (which was great because it rained the first day). We were able to spend time together as a family with no internet. It was nice to be able to unplug and not use our devices. We turned the TVs on 1 time other than that we played games and explored. The kids keep asking when we can come back.

This was my second stay at this cabin and I have enjoyed both visits. There are other cabins nearby but the area is very quiet and peaceful, with the calming sound of the rushing creek close by.
The location is very convenient to the towns of Sylva and Dillsboro, and is an easy drive to Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Cherokee, or Bryson city.

Great cozy cabin
Our family of 6 stayed for a week at this beautiful little cabin. We really enjoyed the creek running along the cabin and played for hours "panning for gold" and relaxing by the fire. Our daughters enjoyed hanging out in the loft. The fireplace was rustic and lovely and kept us nice and warm. There is no internet here so we were forced to spend more quality time together. The only downside was the 1 small sofa. We did bring the extra chairs in and make more seating for our bigger family to watch tv together but all in all, we had a very enjoyable stay and loved the close proximity to Cherokee, Bryson City and Sylva. We would stay again.

Cabin linens and towels very outdated. Screen door and sliding glass door broken. Lights on stairs to stream didn’t work. If you are looking for remote cabin great. There are neighbors beside you. Nicely stocked kitchen with supplies.

Wonderful Cozy Spot
If you want the “cabin in the woods experience” this is the perfect spot. It was very clean with everything you need to stay in. My kids loved playing by the creek and I loved drinking my morning coffee in the deck listening to the creek. It was adorable and the nearby towns were quaint with great little restaurants. I’d love to visit the area again.

For the benefit of others considering - do it! Here are my comments and notes:-the house smelled like cinnamon :)-the house was super clean-plenty of TP (though we brought our own too)-the location is tricky to find and the directions provided after booking aren’t clear. You’ll thank me later, but you’ll end up driving through someone else’s driveway to get to this house. It’s that remote!-there’s a DVD player and selection of movies and board games. - there’s everything you need to cook and eat in. -heating and air is controlled with a remote (took us a minute to figure out) but works great and we were comfortable. -the creek being right outside is an added bonus. We enjoyed listening to the water, sitting by, and tossing little pebbles into the water. The kids loved being in nature.

Only Flaw....
Loved the property and everything was as expected. My ONLY comment would be that the property needs a little better signage/description to help locate it and the master bedroom mattress needs to be replaced. It is worn out. Otherwise, beautiful weekend and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet get away. Thank you so much for hosting us.

Loved it, with a couple of caveats
The cabin is situated in between a couple of charming towns to visit and near Deep Creek, which is highly recommended for a fun day of tubing. The cabin itself is good, but it could use a couple of tweaks. We had to purchase our own toilet paper, paper towels and bath supplies. There is only one futon couch to sit on in the living area, so if you have a family of four or more, it's insufficient (and not terribly comfortable). The cabin also has no cell service, so be aware that in addition to not having wifi, you will also not be able to use your phone. I think that should be included in the description. Otherwise, we loved the cabin and its place on the river. We especially enjoyed sitting by the river and using the fire pit. It's a beautiful setting, and we had a wonderful time. We'd visit again.

The husband wanted secluded
Our stay was amazing the only issues we had were the trash was over flowing but was taken off the next morning and the little area at the door smelled like old beer (we just left the screen door propped open) we loved that it was near a lot but not in the middle of it all 15-30 minutes from tons of things. Really enjoyed our stay and all the family time it allowed us with no WiFi and hardly any cell service it was exactly what we needed. Thanks !!

Nice Creekside cabin
We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. We loved the sounds of the creek and spending time around the water/fire pit area. It is convenient to Bryson City and Cherokee. It could be improved by making sure it’s stocked with supplies (i.e. enough toilet paper), but it was clean and comfortable. We would stay again.
