Description said it had a lift. In fact the lift only goes to the first floor and the penthouse is on the 3rd floor - 37 steps. This was a real problem for people with mobility issues. In addition when we arrived at 16.30 the stairwells were in complete darkness - a health and safety issue. See photo. Apparently the lighting was on a timer and not adjusted since the clocks went back in late October. The stairwells clearly had not been cleaned in weeks and the entrance foyer to the lift smelt of drains.

We had some niggles - for example there were no curtains in the back room, making it very hard for our son to sleep - but it was very clean, and nicely furnished and made-up. The flat is a very cool space and is in a great location - close to historic bits of Great Yarmouth and easily accessible from the station. We certainly enjoyed our stay.
There isn't a drinking-water tap and all the water seems to be 'softened' so it's rather unpleasant to drink or make tea/coffee with. Some maintenance issues too: the lack of curtains in the back room was quite annoying - it's a huge window so there was nothing we could knock up for the duration of our stay, and there didn't seem to be a way to open the blinds at all in the mezzanine bedroom. Some drawers in the bedrooms would be great.

Well equipped modern apartment very spacious.
Located in a run down area. Entrance door from the car park was rotting in places and the approach was strewn with litter and unidentified debris. Immediate entrance lobby was littered and the lift smelt. Stairs up to apartment needed a deep clean. Once in the apartment the windows required cleaning and the black gloss kitchen units were heavily smeared. The rest of the apartment was clean. Only one key fob which was a pain with two separate couples staying. Noisy at times.

The property is unique and large and very comfortable, 10 mins walk to the sea and good private parking. The upstairs bedroom was big and comfortable and it was good having large double beds and en-suite bathrooms to all rooms.
The parking area outside is rough with lots of litter, broken drains, smelly and the lift and staircase are in need of a good clean and let the beautiful penthouse down. With only one key fob it was difficult to leave the apartment without being in a group as the fob is needed both for the gate and entry to the very shabby entrance. Sink plugs , Click Clack type need replacing as some were missing or as in bath in bedroom 2, just do not work and let water run away and as this room has no shower, it was not really usable and the replacement plug in the sink in this en-suite did not fit either, but as there is so many bathrooms it worked for our family group to share.

Good room layout with 3 en-suite bathrooms and is home from home.
Loved the upstairs bedroom and good location easy walk to the town and the sea front.
Only 1 tv, we would have liked a tv in each bedroom and the main tv is a bit small for the room.
Noisy floor boards in the mezzanine bedroom and no velux pole to open windows.

it was all very good, the only minor issue was the living room took quite a while to warm up - the rest of the apartment was very warm and comfortable from when we arrived

Rear entrance needs repairs / replacement and made a little more welcoming.

the property is absolutely stunning and even though it rained during our stay, we snuggled up and watched the sunset in comfort. Such a lovely light airy place, very secure parking, easy to find, I could live there full time!! The owners kept in touch all weekend to make sure we were okay and even popped up a tree for Christmas which made it feel more homely. Whoever designed the apartment was a genius, if the maintenance and decor is kept on top of it will be a lovely money earner for years to come. I will definitely be back! thank you.

little things…
1. the upstairs room shower head sprayed out the side
2. some kitchen things you may expect weren’t there (like a chopping board and sieve). what is there is of good quality and in good condition for a holiday let.
3. beware of door corners with young children! mine tripped over his own feet and cracked his head on day one. In retrospect, I should have noticed and absolutely not the fault of the hosts (it’s just good to maybe know so that you can keep an EXTRA eye while unpacking with toddlers).

An amazing space with a really sociable kitchen, dining, living room. The facilities are excellent with multiple bathrooms and even a utility room. The seafront is an easy walk away. Highly recommended!
The central location means there is some street noise in the evenings. There is a lift part way up the building and a couple of flights of stairs to reach the penthouse, so just something to be aware of.

Location was central to Great Yarmouth, decor was nice and Bedrooms 2 and 3 were very comfortable. Kitchen facilities were good
The pictures show a beautiful building, but in reality you don't see it at all, entering and leaving the property via the rear car park, it looks like a 1970s concrete sorting office. The main bedroom is completely impractical, the open plan design means you can only be undressed at one end. There are no drawers at all, so everything stayed in our suitcase. The shower was so dark, with a dim light, you could hardly see. Had to sit on floor under an eave to dry my hair in a tiny mirror to access a plug socket. The whole room was a giant pain to use. Heating was controlled by a timer which came on only when it sensed you were in the property, and the vaulted ceilings meant it took ages to heat up. If you were only using Bedroom 2 and 3, it would be fine.
