It is a tranquil place which suited me. If you are looking for more social interactions it may not be perfect for you

The room was big and the beds were confortable. Ana is great, she speaks very good English which makes the communication easy. She also let us check-in much earlier.

The room was very, very hot all night long and the fan is extremely loud, very hard to sleep during the summer.

Host was very welcoming, helpful, aimed to resolve our problems quickly. Ping pong table is great (at time of writing all but one ball is cracked) Free bottled water, coffee, powdered milk Adequate kitchen facilities for cooking Keyless entry Courtyard areas pretty It is quiet

No aircon in the room and very little ventilation it gets VERY hot. There is a fan but the electrics of the fan actually make the room hotter so doesn’t really help. We found lots of dead bugs in the drawer of the bedside table and loose sawdust.. potentially they were slowly eating the drawer. They replaced the drawer after we alerted the host. Plastic covers on bedsheets and pillows makes for a very sweaty night on top of no aircon. Rooms are very basic, paint pealing on the walls, stained floors, very white bright lights - not cosy feels like a cheap motel, but we were paying $40 a night. i think if had been $15 a night it would have been fine. Listing falsely advertised facilities in the room which weren’t there which gave impression we were booking an apartment. This was not the case. Host apologised for this and when we were leaving they were in process of updating description on booking.com. We cut our stay short. If you can find this for a lot cheaper than what we paid and are looking for budget accommodation with the basics you need it is fine. We found somewhere $10 a night cheaper that was much nicer.

Ana was a brilliant host who welcomed us positively even when we arrived late in the evening. very flexible and responsive. location is in a nice neighbourhood.

Noise carries easily, not much natural light into the bedrooms but good common areas

the pillows where to thick for us. The plastic around the bed and pillows also made us sweat a lot.
