Had a great time. this house is right on the water with beautiful views. We loved Folly Beach and the town itself. Everything was clean and worked for our stay. We will definitely be coming back to stay.

It was wonderful to be so close to the ocean. It is an older house but fit all our needs and had all supplies need.

I've stayed at folly Beach several times and this was my favorite location by far! Classic Folly houses are simple bungalows.... this house is one of the best in its class. Spacious, clean, away from the clutter of downtown. Huge windows. When the tide is high it looks like you're in a boat. We hardly left the house it was so nice. Proximity to the quiet beach is top feature. Basic supplies as advertised. I'll choose this house again for sure!!

This house was perfect for us. My wife, kids and I loved the house. The views from the den area and the deck are spectacular. The house was very comfortable and of course you can't beat front beach. We are already talking about coming back in December for our race and maybe even a week in the summer. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

It's a beautiful house but could need some improvements/renovation. Some paint and maybe some new "fresh" furniture. The kitchen and de downstairs bathroom wasn't that clean. But the beautiful deck and the view from the deck (and also de view from the balcony in the master bedroom) made it all a very pleasant stay, the house is really spacious! We had a great time there!

The views are great from the house and the location is perfect. The house is very run down. Lights flickered and often didn’t work well. Locks aren’t very secure. Appliances are missing handles. Windows are old. Holes in the wall. It would be a great vacation spot if there was a little bit more TLC put into it.

I never leave reviews, but this one is worth the time to do so. The house is as advertised. It is a little dated, but it has plenty of space and bedding for eight people and views that are hard to beat. The deck is spacious and has nice seating. The beach is your backyard, and there are some boards and beach toys if you have kids. The best part was how private it seemed. We saw a few people walking through, but for the most part, we had a large area to ourselves. The only suggestion I would make is to add lighting for the stairs leading to the driveway, and maybe those leading to the beach. It gets a little difficult to navigate them at night. All in all, this house is reasonably priced for such a beautiful location, and we would stay here again.

I love the location of this house!! We went for July 4th and we pretty much had the next fk ourselves. Not crowded at all.
There was a super moon while we were there, and the water at high tide was all the way to our walkover. It’s like we were ON THE WATER. The house is spacious and very bright and airy with lots of windows and sunlight, so the ocean is always visible. Wish we were there right now!!

Fabulous deck; Tremendous views; interior need a lot of attention: window seals are broken; possible leaks visible on ceilings, dampness under kitchen sink; ripped sofa cushions; unattractive covering over fire place place; needs better doors and lock; more dish towel. And yet we loved the place and plan to come back. It would be an even greater experience if it got the attention it deserves.

What a wonderful experience with family.. The pics might be a little misleading as to the distance to the sandy beach and the water… It was really close, my mailbox is farther away. At high tide, the bottom steps of the walkway was in the water.. At low tide, there was a wonderful playground of sand.. we played with a soccer ball and tossed around a frisbee without getting wet.. The house was very roomy and clean. Had all the amenities of home… Can’t wait to go back…

The view is amazing and the house is very comfortable. Beach access is wonderful. Some minor stuff: the internet login is not correct, could use some new shower heads and bathroom faucets and the garage has no working door opener(s). Would have liked more personal Q&A left for the renters inside.

This house was one of the best we have rented on Folly. It was fully stocked with everything we needed to make our stay great. Plenty of chairs, beach toys, kitchen stocked great, lots of dishes, pots and pans, anything you can need to cook, and the place was pretty clean. Beds were comfortable and house was stocked with plenty of extras like books, puzzles, small grill, flashlights, etc. Will definitely stay there again.

The view was spectacular, the location was away from the busy village so it was quiet. The house was very comfortable..has a rustic feel to it. Would definitely rent again because of it's closeness to the ocean.

The house is right on the beach. Private deck and walkway. Perfect for sitting on the deck at night listening to the waves. Not too far from Folly. A little too far to walk, but not difficult to get to by car. The house was clean. The views were perfect from inside the house. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of fans to use if we needed them. Can't wait to stay again!

The Westwind is a great house for a family. We had seven adults and one toddler and it was perfect. The house is bigger than it looks in the pictures. (Just note the loft queen bed is open and off the door to the master; not private.)
Westwind has an incredible deck facing the ocean--best part of the house! Also enjoyed being on the quiet end of the ocean. Would definitely recommend this house.
Vacasa was great to work with and were very attentive to our needs.

We loved everything about the house . The view and being on the quiet end of Folly was wonderful. The linens were new and the beds comfortable . We loved the new deck chairs and the railing around the deck made us very comfortable when our small grandchildren were outside . Someone left chairs , boogie boards, beach toys, and charcoal grills for our use. We found the house exceptionally clean . The service team responded very quickly to solve our one issue . The downstairs bedrooms were a little crowded with a pack and play but the master suite and loft room was spacious.

Great house
This was our 2nd time staying in this house and we love the house and location. Plenty of room for a family and great location on the beach. Quiet and more private than other areas.
My only complaint from our current stay is the excavator that was parked right next door on the beach and huge pile of sand/rocks in back of the house (right on beach).

Spacious house in great location
The house is spacious and comfortable. A bit of wear and tear over all but the beds were comfortable and the kitchen appliance were in good working order, some very new. You can't beat the view of the beach in a quiet neighborhood.

Needs updating
Location was absolutely perfect! We seen dolphins every morning we were there. Not a busy location. But the house needs updating and locks need fixing. The door would not lock from the inside so we couldn’t lock at night which was worrisome as we have a special needs child who wanders. Patio doors need attention as well. Will definitely be coming back though, as the location was perfect and beautiful.

Gorgeous home with the best view
Gorgeous view with all the benefits of being right on the ocean. The property is spacious and comfortable but needs to be better managed. All the the reviews are accurate and the property manager has not addressed any of them including the mice, the cobwebs, other housekeeping issues, burned out lights, etc. The direct tv went out day one of our stay and Vacassa was unresponsive to our request for service. If you can overlook some of the gripes this is a nice home.

can't go wrong with oceanfront
the previous reviews were right, the property was old, furniture old and falling apart, but the view the ocean and the waves made up for it. The master bedroom bed was rough it was so deformed and lumpy and the pillows were flat as pancakes and there were some missing top sheets on some of the beds, just a bottom sheet and a comforter so consider brining your own pillows and sheets.

Perfect Ocean View
This ocean front home really had the most stunning view right on the porch, which overlooked the beach and the ocean. During high tide, the ocean practically came up to the walkway making the experience of being right there at the ocean even more incredible. The porch also offered a picnic table where we ate many meals that offered the best ocean view.

Nice mostly
Nice place, excellent beach front location, clean and nice Amenities provided. Only complaint is there was obviously a rodent living amongst us. It nibbled our food and left presents around the house. We left traps so hopefully the visit will be perfect for the guests after us. We had a great time staying at this house.

exactly what we were looking for!
This was our first time staying at a beach front home and we are ruined for all future vacations! It felt like we were on our own private beach. The home was clean & well decorated. Fully stocked kitchen with everything we needed for cooking in. We absolutely enjoyed our stay & look forward to returning soon!
