My husband and I just needed a night at the beach and this was perfect. Bed was very comfy and the coffee was hot in the morning. Add in some sunshine and the ocean and it was everything we could’ve asked for. Thank you!

Once again, our stay at Beacher's Lodge did not disappoint. The short walk from the first floor to the boardwalk and pool from the first floor was great with us having two young children. The only bad part of the stay was that it had to end. Truly a gem that we're glad to have stumbled upon a few years ago and can't wait to go back.

This is my second time staying at Beacher’s Lodge. I’d probably rate my overall experience this time as 7/10. Upon arriving there was hair in the bathroom sink and around the toilet. The books inside of the room was sticky on the outside. There was stains on the drapes leading outside on the patio that resembled blood. After our time in the water we went back to shower and there was very long hair on the washcloths and towels. Due to our time crunch we didn’t even have time to try and get the issues resolved.

The people working at the front office were extremely helpful and friendly. Checking in was painless and they answered all our questions satisfactorily. The room left a lot to be desired. The sofa was dingy and dirty, the tub looked like it could use a good scrubbing, and the wiring on the TV in the bedroom looked amateurish at best. The place has a nice location and easy access to the beach and a lovely pool, but this particular room needed a lot of work.

The location is perfect and the staff were great. The room was functional, but there were issues with the lights and finding out how to turn on the ceiling fan. in the bedroom. The maintenance man was very nice and helpful. There were also ants in the bathroom.

Say they are pet friendly, but I would say there pet ok. Was disappointed with ground floor patio that we didn't use because we had a sod co lay and ripping up old.Had to close the curtains because my dogs kept barking at workers.The place right next to us was getting a new floor so hammers and grinders all day.We checked out early,couldn't wait to go home and relax. Thanks for a not so much fun vacation. I would not recommend.

Bottom line: this unit is described as is not. Window coverings have green/black discoloration on the back -- mold perhaps? Damp funky smell inside unit. I had the slider open a lot and kept fans going all day/night. Old fabric couch that probably has decades of smells absorbed into it. Needs electrical work/fixes. Dark. Not comfortable to be there, could be a health hazard.

We had a great stay at Beacher's Lodge! The location right on the beach is unbeatable (and it's a beautiful, clean, and family friendly beach). Although the suite was a bit dated, it was clean and had all the basic amenities one needs for a multiple night stay. The pool was nice also. We loved the fact it was a good 10min out of town, it made it much less busy and quiet.

We stayed 3 nights with our pup, great location to restaurants and beach access. The staff upgraded our room (very nice) except the bedroom ceiling fan needs replaced and was unusable and toilet needs t/b reset.

For the price, the room was inadequate. The sliding glass door did not lock correctly. I could not shut off the living room fan. Several light switchs did not work, to include the ceiling fan light. The TV only had a few stations, and I could not get the Closed Captioning feature. I am hard of hearing, and need closed captioning. The couch cushions were worn, and getting up from the couch was very difficult.I would want assurance of a better quality room with a TV containing more than 2 stations and Closed Captioning before staying there again.

Affordable fun with a great view
My husband and two littles had a wonderful time. The pictures are an accurate representation of the condo. If you’ve never stayed at Beachers before, these are efficiency condos so it’s a small space but we don’t spend a ton of time in the room so it’s never bothered us. The kitchen has everything you need and there is a DG right across the road. The only negative thing that happened this whole trip was we left our umbrella closed on the beach while we took our girls in for an afternoon nap. When we came back out, it was gone. The public access is right next to the condominium so it likely walked away. That’s not the condo’s fault though. We’ve just never had that happen before on the more private areas of the beach. Our girls loved the pool and the Murphy bed was comfortable. If you have littles, there is a tub in this unit so that was a big plus! I hope this helps someone! Thank y’all, again.

Nothing was as they claimed. No room service the whole week. Room was very small. Appliances were very small. Too many restrictions. Not very happy at all. Will not stay here again and will not recommend !!!

This was a fantastic location with excellent ocean views and beach access. However, the property was old and our unit was so small that it was difficult to move around. The chairs around the pool were stained from all the bodies that have used them.

Property was very clean, quiet, nice staff, steps to boardwalk to beach., ice maker on property, very pet friendly and pictures online very accurate.
The only downside is could use better pillows and better seating (couch low and old) l.

The place was very nice. Just a few issues overall....Appliances needed updating as you could tell they were old with rust. The electrical in the place was very scary, it would flicker the whole time you had bathroom light/fan on, ended up turning off the breaker to the bathroom when we would leave, since we left puppy in there. The couch was super low and definitely needed updating.

I was not able to stay long due to a continued trip to Orlando, but this was very convenient to the concert I attended at the AMP. Small space but organized well. Needs more kitchen supplies and the bathroom needs some remodeling. The faucet was leaking onto the counter and there were many small ants crawling on the bath counter.

2wk Winter escape
The property was perfect for 2 senior citizens and 2 senior small dogs. Our only issue was the sofa was extremely uncomfortable. We had to stuff pillows under the cushions in order to stop the sinking. This helped some, but the sofa needs to be replaced. Maybe get rid of Murphy bed. I don't see how there is room to use it anyway. Replace with a quality
hide -a- bed. I'd return, but not unless the sofa is replaced.

Nice place
It was a nice place to stay. Conveniently located. Only complaint would be that there was no comfortable place to set as the only seating was a very dilapidated couch and the chair to the table. And hot water heater wouldn't stay hot enough for a hot bath. It is very tiny , much smaller than pictured.

Love the location to beach. Check in was after 7 pm with a young man who was not very informative. As time went on the many women I spoke to in office were very informative and professional. Had a nice stay. Reserved for next year.

Mon-Fri with 2 dogs. Awakening to sunrise walks on beach or coffee on the patio. Clean and relaxing unit with everything we needed. Even with cooler weather, renovations going on and pool closed, we had a GREAT stay.

Good property but needs some updating
The property was o.k., needs updating in the living area, sofa was old and not comfy...room was small, bathroom needs updated amenities and was not in St. Augustine, it was in Crescent Beach and I was looking to stay cin St. Augustine
However,the property was a walk away from the beach and allowed our dog which was extremely convenient.
We did enjoy going to St. Augustine and would visit again but near the downtown area
