After 2 years of waiting for our family trip to happen we were very pleased with our accommodations. The location was great for us, we had enough rooms and space for 5 adults plus 1 young child and an infant. It was nice to have a high chair and a pack and play already there! Lovely pool and indoor games as well. John was great to correspond with and always quick to answer. It was a fabulous vacation and we would certainly consider staying here again in the future. I would highly recommend this property!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Gold Canyon. Communication with John was superb. The home was very comfortable and exceeded all of our expectations. It is beautifully located with mountain views and a wonderful relaxing pool. It is close to some hiking trails but the neighborhood affords walking areas and trails through arroyos. We highly recommend this rental!

Property was phenomenal! Great location, very clean & great amenities. Property owner was very accessible and easy to communicate with. He wanted to ensure a wonderful stay, which he did! The only suggestions I have would be that additional towels & washcloths would have been nice. Also additional bedding - change of sheets and more blankets would have been nice. Really was a wonderful stay though & would definitely stay again!

If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, well equipped modern home with a private pool in a safe, secure neighborhood--this house is definitely for you. Groceries, hiking trails, horseback riding, tourist attractions, etc are just minutes away and you are also within easy reach of all of the activities/amenities that a larger city (Phoenix) has to offer. Our only regret was that we only had 7 days to enjoy this awesome getaway.

Swimming in the backyard heated pool and gazing at two mountain ranges... fabulous! A very comfortable, livable home, nicely furnished and equipped, in a quiet neighborhood. Wonderful backyard with pool, fire ring, eating area and pool side furniture. Visiting grandchildren enjoyed the loft area with game tables. The master bedroom on the second floor with a large balcony overlooking the twinkling lights of the area at night was a lovely way to end the day. Grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants, etc., just a short drive away, as are many mt. hiking trails. A visit to the nearby Boyce Thompson Arboretum is a great excursion. We like the Gold Canyon area with it's location below the Superstition Mts. and its distance from the hustle and bustle of the city of Phoenix. John was a great host, just a text away. He responded quickly to any questions we had and certainly helped make this one of our best AZ stays ever!

Enjoyed visiting family and escaping the Minnesota winter. Great house, the family loved the pool. We look to come back again next winter.

Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids) rented this property for 9 days and it was absolutely wonderful! We enjoyed our own bedrooms, the gaming area, the pool, the patio(s), and very open floor plan! John was very responsive for any questions we had. We will definitely be renting again next year if available!

Perfect for a COVID getaway. We booked this place as a spot to work remotely for a couple weeks and enjoy the Arizona warmth. The house is larger than expected and we were able to easily spread out. The back patio and pool were great with beautiful views of the mountains. Very close to running/hiking trails. The owner was very responsive and checked in throughout our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. We were very tempted to extend our stay for another week. Would definitely recommend.

My husband and I enjoyed this property. It had everything we needed. We loved that there are hiking trails only a couple of miles away. Very quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay again. Property manager was very quick to respond.

Our trip was to visit our kids and granddaughter, thankfully our daughter suggested finding a place with a pool because it was so hot. The pool was a hit for everyone and the only way we could survive the heat. The kids also enjoyed playing chess, air hockey and foosball. The house has a nice kitchen and it was nice to have a bbq to use as well. With the heat and everything going on we didn’t do much eating out. The owner was easy to communicate with, which was nice. We would definitely stay there again.
