Such friendly face, in a quiet place, mixed with excellent local food. It could not be better.

It was handy to a celebration we were attending.

The carpet had been removed, but not replaced. The concrete was very stained and looked “unfinished”. This also left a huge gap between the sliding bathroom door and the floor, not great when you want privacy in the toilet. The door handle to the bathroom kept falling off, so I eventually left it off There were a couple of marks on the blind next to the bed and on a low cupboard. A very minor detail perhaps, but I chose the room based on the photo’s which had Orla Keily bedding. This wasn’t on the bed, so I was slightly disappointed because Im a big Orla Keily fan.

The rooms have been renovated nicely. Great that a coffee pod machine, pods and milk were supplied. Towels felt nice and new. The split system heating really warned up the room. The host Anne was very easy to deal with. I would stay again. Could even bring kids as the unit we were in also had a bunk bed.

The look of the outside area, especially the back, could be improved. The concrete floors were quite cold for winter. Need to bring slippers or keep socks/shoes on.

Great kitchen facilities

Painted concrete floor. Could have asked if we had a pet with us and if not could have had some rugs.

Nicely renovated studio room with full kitchen, appliances and utensils. Good location, easy drive to many destinations including Rutherglen.

Great motel with renovated rooms. A full kitchen so could easily self cater if staying for a couple of nights. A Nespresso with pods is a lovely touch. Comfortable bed for a good night sleep. Quiet area and easy walk to pub for dinner Also the rail trail is just down the road so you can cycle to Rutherglen and wineries.

Nothing. The old sign could be off putting, but such a great surprise when i walk into the room that I realised I shouldn’t judge a book by it cover.

The full kitchen. Only stayed one night but if more would have self catered using the kitchen.

Bed was Ok but a bit hard for us.

Anne was very responsive to all enquirers & our room was ready a little early which was fabulous. We loved the way the room was styled and stocked. Would definitely stay again.

translucent front door - every time some one walked passed at night the security light came on, woke us up each time Bed far too small, I ended up on sofa. sofa too big for room. table right next to bathroom door. we both hit the edge of it. Security door lock instructions needs to be more explicit, timing etc
