Værelset og morgenmaden var helt i top.
Havde eget badeværelse, men vi skulle ud på gangen og gå et stykke for at benytte det.
Beliggenheden er ok, hvis man er i bil. Hvis man ikke er i bil, er det no-go.

Everything was great. Spotless clean. Cosy. Comfortable. The hosts are extremely welcoming, and the breakfast was just fabulous.
I was stranded due to the ferry being cancelled, and just wanted a cheap place to crash. What I found at Yggdrasil was just so much more. Wow...
(Usually I try to avoid places with shared bathrooms. But being as extremely nice and clean as they are here, that didn't bother me at all)

The facilities were super clean and cosy. The location in the countryside was quiet and relaxing. With the host we had a nice discussion during the evening. I can highly recommend.

Lovely place to stay for a night. I used Yggdrasil Guest Lodge as an over night stay as part of a 2 day cycle trip around the Island as it was just about half way. Super friendly and accomodating host, nice new rooms, excellent facilities. Large area to store bikes if needed. A real retreat away from busy day to day life. Also an excellent peronally prepared breakfast, perfect start to see you through a long day's cycling.
The location is quite remote, which is certainly part of its charm, and Gudhjem can easily be reached by bike, but just something to be aware of when planning.

What an unexpected gem of a place. If you're looking for spiritual calm or just a lovely place to contemplate the lovely Bornholm scenery this inland delight is a great option and phenomenally good value for money compared to the competition. While the bathroom was separate, it was nonetheless only for the use of my room. The house has a sustainable policy to energy and a local produce approach to the unexpectedly delicious breakfast. The owner goes out of her way to assist guests and is herself something of a spiritual teacher - the guesthouse being home to bespoke mini-retreats on request.

We had a marvelously pleasant stay of two nights in this quiet retreat. Nicky, our host, gave us valuable tips for exploring the island. We especially recommend the typical round churches one of which is quite close to Yggdrasil.
Breakfast - prepared lovingly by our host - was delicious ("real" green tea in a tea pot, homemade bread and yoghurt and much more). The whole atmosphere of the place was enchanting.
You will need a car. It's pretty much in the middle of nowhere but that is part of the appeal.

This was like going being on time travel - time just stopped during my stay. The level of tranquilness combined with Jogns hospitality was beyond comparison. Imaging waking up with sun shining on never ending land of fields of all colours….

Amazing hotel. It definitely exceeded our expectations!
The location is wonderful and perfect for relaxing and calmness. Also, the owners are lovely, and the breakfast was totally worth it.

So welcoming and the cleanest place I have ever stayed in.

Comfortable old house freshly renovated, with great facilities (we specifically loved the bathroom). Nicky and John have been adorable and showed amazing hospitality.
There are only a few rooms so the property feels very cozy and intimate. The breakfast was also perfect, even including gluten-free bread on demand!
We'd love to stay there again!
