Grande cuisine entièrement équipée qui surplombe le lac Bear. Salle familiale accueillante et confortable avec grande section. Suite parentale et chambre d'amis à l'étage et 4 chambres et 2 salles de bain en bas. Il y a 6 lits superposés séparés (12 places de couchage) et 17 matelas jumeaux supplémentaires pour toute personne supplémentaire, laissant beaucoup d'options de couchage pour tout le monde. Belle enveloppe autour du pont pour profiter de la vue et observer la faune, ou envoyer les enfants à l'extérieur pour explorer le terrain de jeu. Table de baby-foot et télévision supplémentaire au sous-sol pour les enfants et les adultes. À distance de marche du terrain de golf, à 15 minutes de la station de ski de classe mondiale et des sentiers de VTT accessibles depuis l'allée. En plus de tout cela, vous n'êtes qu'à 5 minutes du lac Bear et de ses eaux émeraude. Cette cabine a vraiment quelque chose pour tout le monde!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hillside Hideaway. Communication with our host was key - easy check in and plenty of room for all of us. Would definitely recommend.

This house was perfect for us. I appreciated the air conditioning in that it was hot week in Bear Lake. It has a ton of extras and is just super spacious and clean. I also appreciate the Ideal Beach Resort Pass.

Everything was as it should have been, kitchen was awesome. All our family enjoyed their stay and would highly recommend this property. The view of Bear Lake was tremendous, and we took full advantage of the Ideal Beach access. We totally enjoyed our stay! Thanks!

We loved our time at the cabin. It was perfect for our big family. Very spacious! Lots of parking! Also, having access to ideal beach resort was an added bonus. We would definitely stay here again!

It worked well for us plenty of sleeping quarters and the kids had a great time. plenty of parking space, we had a flatbed trailer and several cars it was great. Plenty of space for meals and games for all of us to be together.

This is a truly a special place and you can see the care and attention to detail that have gone into making it feel like home. We thought it actually looked better than the photos and was larger than we realized also. There was plenty of space for our group of 21 to spread out. It was well stocked. Great communication with owner and no problems with check-in or during our stay. It's a beautiful, more private location and the views are just spectacular (the deck!). We would definitely stay here again thank you!

We loved staying here. The view was amazing and it was very quiet, except for our family inside : ) It was bigger than I thought and the extra family room worked out so well. We had about 7 cars, there was plenty of space for parking. The deck was so fun with the views. We would stay there again.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Hillside Hideaway. The views of Bear Lake and the surrounding mountains are breathtaking.
Beds were plentiful and comfortable. There are plenty of places for gathering groups or taking minute alone. The bathrooms were designed to allow for maximum privacy and to keep lines from forming. We cannot say enough good things about the kitchen; it is far and away the best stocked of any rental I've stayed in. The kitchen also has lots of work space and storage and lends itself well to prepping, cooking, serving, and clean-up.
Kids (and adults) loved the foosball table and the outdoor play area. The rental has a couple of TVs that can be used for gaming as well; they are placed well so that there is plenty of room for everyone, but these don't have to be the main attraction.
Truly a wonderful space. To top it off, Sam was the perfect host - responsive, helpful, and easy to work with. I really can't say enough good things this about this VRBO experience.

This was the perfect space for our weekend get away. The kids were able to sleep soundly even with adults playing board games and talking loudly. Very impressed with the communication and check in process! Will be booking again soon!

This fit our family well. Great view of Bear Lake at every angle. Short drive to Ideal Resort and the cute little town where there were plenty of shopping, food and fun. Zips was the best Rasberry ShaKe and Fries were so good! We will definitely stay at the Hillside Hideaway again!

Great Layout for a large family. Good options to keep cool in the summer. Just a little confusing about putting clean sheets on the beds since we couldn't find enough clean ones. A little far from the main road. All in all, good place to stay.

We had a great time
Just a couple things that would have made it perfect. There is a bed in the basement that is broken. Coffee pots are terrible. It was a little hot for sleeping with no AC in the basement. the view was beautiful, the house was a good in size for the group we had. plenty of room for us to gather to eat and lots for the kids to do at the house with the outside play area and TV inside. Thanks Sam we would go again

Loved our stay!
This was a great home that served our purposes wonderfully for our family’s stay in Bear Lake. Their place is well stocked with everything. Access to ideal beach is a wonderful perk for the family as well. We appreciated Sam’s immediate communications and his willingness to accommodate our every need. .

Wonderful place for Christmas family gathering
Large home to easily accommodate our large family. Definitely need four wheel drive in the winter. Beautiful views, easy to communicate with owner. Would stay again!!

Amazing experience
My family and I enjoyed our first family vacation here , it was wonderful. The house was lovely and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Our kids loved the slide outside the house to the side play area. Amazing view from the backyard porch . We can’t wait to come back ! Thank you to Sam for being a great host !!!

Overloaded breaker
My only complaint would be the breaker kept getting flipped. Happened at least once if not twice every day. But we loved our visit and we had a great time.

Family Reunion
Fabulous location included access to a private beach. Plenty of room for our family of 25. Lots of amenities including archery and corn hole. The bunk rooms were terrific for the grandkids.

Great size for our family, great kitchen with needed amenities. Loved the corn hole game there, beach toys and play area for children. Loved the tables and chairs outside on the deck. Could have used more bedroom fans as it was very hot. The phone number listed of the first page of instructions that we used for questions before going was apparently not valid, as no one ever answered. Good response from additional numbers listed elsewhere.

We had access to the blue waters of Ideal Beach with this rental. We were situated near the mountains and enjoyed an adventure in them.The cabin was child, youth, and adult friendly.We loved our stay at this cabin with our precious family in the beautiful Bear Lake area.

Great Family Reunion
This is a beautiful home with enough space for all 30 of us. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and equipment. There was plenty of hang out spaces for kids, teenagers and adults. The access to Ideal Beach was so much fun!!
There wasn’t a crib, but there was a pack ‘n play. The kitchen and main floor got quite warm in the afternoon, but cooled off nicely at night. We’ll definitely look into renting this house again for another family reunion when all the kids come into town.

Enjoyable stay overlooking Bear Lake
Sam Thacker, one of the owners, was easy to contact and very accommodating with all questions we had. It was easy to contact him and he replied as soon as he could. Our children and grandchildren enjoyed the accommodations, which easily fit all 23 of us and made us feel comfortable sleeping, eating, playing inside and out, and watching TV. Thanks for a great time!
