Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Orchard Hills Circle. Family vacation with adult children and their significant others. The house was clean and with all conveniences. The host allows pets, so we were able to vacation with our senior lab and new addition- lab puppy. Recommend hiking with your dogs at Little Long Pond in Seal Harbor.

This house is so clean, comfy and inviting. The pictures truly don’t do it justice. We had 5 adults and there was ample space to hang out to eat and talk plus sleep. The location is quiet yet not a bad ride to Bar Harbor, Acadia, etc. We go different places every year but if I ever wanted to go back to a place year after year …this would be it!

We had a very comfortable stay for a week. The townhouse is conveniently located on the Southwest Harbor side of Mount Desert Island. The beds are comfortable, there's plenty of storage for your clothing and it was great having a washing machine and dryer. Our black lab was welcome and comfortable there which was a plus.

This property and listing were excellent. Plenty of room as there were 4 adults who spent the week hiking, trying out the restaurants, visiting the sites, and relaxing. Place was clean, modern in appearance, and conveniently located for hiking many trails if not all in Acadia, and 20 minutes to Bar Harbor and other places of interest. This property was clean, layout was functional, and had everything needed for a week of fun. Water pressure and hot water for showers for the 4 of us after a day of hiking was available. The property is on the quiet side of the island so local harbors and places to eat were not as crowded and much easier to navigate and quite frankly more enjoyable. Manager was on-site and easy to contact and talk to. He was extremely knowledgably of area and willing to share his insights as to places to visit and eat. Property was well cared for and lots of places to walk our dog safely. Lots of lobster roadside stops and good restaurants within 10 minutes of drive in nearby harbors. We are definitely considering coming back next summer to this location.

The home was clean and beautiful in a good location with easy access to all areas of Acadia. There is a lot of closet space in each of the upstairs bedrooms. The fans use remote controls to increase/decrease the speed of the fan and to turn the fan light on and off.

Our family of three, our mini golden doodle and another family of four stayed at the property. The property was very clean, brand new, had plenty of bedrooms for our group. The only down side is the livingroom/kitchen was quiet small for our size group. We mainly spent time enjoying Acadia outside of the rental however once there during downtime it was a bit tight. Overall, we loved the quiet side area, the wooden and secluded space of the property, close to the small downtown area and close enough to the main Acadia hiking and Bar Harbor.

The owners were super accommodating! We ended up needing to move our trip dates and with one phone call he helped us change our week so that it worked for everyone involved. The house was clean and well stocked and the location was great for our needs. Would definitely recommend!

Have no negative remarks about my stay. Perfectly clean and equipped kitchen, roomy bedrooms. Nice and quiet location.

This property was extremely clean and the perfect balance! Lots of bedroom space and overall good amenities! Only downside is the seating at the table is not toddler friendly and there’s no outdoor seating.

This is a new property and they still have a few kinks to work out. But overall the property itself is very nice and clean. It is on the quiet side so a bit of a drive to Bar Harbor in about 20 to 30 minutes away from the main attractions. However it is right next to a few great hiking locations!

The place was clean with everything we needed. It’s on the quiet side of the island away from the hustle of bar harbor. There are quite a few restaurants options within 10 minutes which was nice. Plenty of views and hiking within minutes!

The property was very clean and fully furnished. Comfortable beds. Plenty of hot water. Very quiet between 8 PM and 5 AM, when road noise from Route 102 subsides. Very convenient to access Bar Harbor/Ellsworth in either direction with points of interest and great seafood both ways.. Close to Bass Harbor for sunrises and sunsets, and all of Acadia National Park. Fairly priced, with enough comforts to make us glad we chose this property and, as with all rentals, enough funkiness to make us glad to finally be home after two weeks. Overall no complaints whatsoever and would stay again.

Comfortable firm beds, excellent frig with ice machine, dishwasher, gas grill, large washer/dryer, lots of hot water for 4 showers every morning, ceiling fans with AC worked well to keep cool. We were a little concerned that the living room would be too small but it worked out well. Note: no hot tub, fire pit or AC but none were listed. We plan to return next year!Located just far away enough from the road that we felt comfortable with the dog going for very short “escape” runs out of the door. Regarding the floor plan, the master bedroom and its bathroom are off the laundry room off of the living room. On the upper floor, you first hit a jumbo closet, then the bathroom and turn to find 2 bedrooms and 3rd smaller bedroom. This “townhouse” is attached to another unit but there is a storage space between the 2 units so no windows are looking into each other. Multiple parking spaces. On the quietside but we felt everything was easy to get to everywhere – 3 minutes to Hodgdon’s Seafood for great live or cooked seafood at affordable prices, 10 minutes to Southwest IGA supermarket, 10 minutes to Ship Yard and Wonderland hiking trails, 25 minutes to Bar Harbor for tours, restaurants and Hannaford supermarket, and 36 minutes to Ellsworth on the mainland. Northern bike carriage trails are easy to get to in 20 minutes. Honestly, the only place that takes more 30 minutes or so is Otter Creek and Cove and Jordan Pond that it’s a whole 40 minutes, which really wasn’t a bother – maybe it was the beautiful scenic drives or the relaxed feel of vacation. Google maps always sends you up 102A up the center of MDI but 102 North up the quieter side and takes the same amount of time and is certainly much prettier with a lot less (slow) drivers. Staying on the “quiet side” afforded us a quiet happy evening as well as the opportunity to easily go to Ship Yard and Wonderland hiking trails, easy trails for tide pooling, and Echo Beach Lake with Canada Cliffs and Beech Cliffs Trails. But if you like the hustle and bustle of populated streets, the din of restaurants and party feel of bars, then Bar Harbor is your place. For us, this was a slice of heaven!

This rental was beautiful! My one and only complaint was that there were no window dressings in the entire house. Everything else was perfect. The location is about 30 minutes from most Acadia attractions. It is very close to Wonderland, which was honesty my favorite place on the island. I would liked to have been closer to Bar Harbor, but that was my mistake for not researching the island and distances better. Great rental! MDI is amazing!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Maine and in this lovely home. It was beyond our expectations, extremely clean, and very tastefully done. The property manager was efficient at responding to all of our concerns and needs. We would absolutely stay here again.
