Very cozy and special place to enjoy all that Nevada City has to offer. Wonderful Stay!!!

Once we were at the right entrance door, the code worked and we found the room to be very comfortable. For an old building it had all the modern amenities. Hwy 49 was noisy during the day but got quite at night to go to sleep.

Darby is a wonderful host. Property was clean and very spacious for the two of us. Could have easily accommodated two more people. Very clean and so close to historic Nevada City, everything was within walking distance. White noise machines were included to mask highway traffic, street traffic and local church chimes/bells. Air conditioning was much appreciated after spending long days in the sun. Street parking was not an issue. Overall, great stay!

We went to Nevada City to see the Victorian Christmas. The location was perfect. We were able to park our car and walk to everything!! We had a super great time!! The apartment was ok and functional. We played Yahtzee in the front window at the little table. I would definitely stay there again.

My sister & I along with my best friend wanted a girl's weekend to celebrate our birthdays together, it was perfect!

We are a family of 4 with 2 little kids and this was a perfect home for us for a quick getaway. Very clean and so close to downtown. Darby was a great host! I also booked a facial with her and it was fabulous. The kids loved the property and were sad to leave. We hope to visit again!

Our stay at this house was wonderful. The owner Darby was so nice. The house is right near the shops and restaurants in downtown Nevada City and perfect for some shopping and dining out.

The studio is so sweet, very clean, it has everything we needed, electric kettle (our family loves tea), great shower (after a day of skiing) and etc. Darby really thought about all small things for the nice and comfortable stay.The place right in the downtown of Nevada City, beautiful forest surrounds the town (we saw many people with the bikes), ski resorts 45-50 min of driving (Sugar Bowl, Boreal), lots of scenic spots (great pictures guarantee), Yuba River in summer (planning to come), we loved Grass Valley town nearby.Darby, thank you for your hospitality! The price seemed very fair for 2 rooms, just 90 steps from downtown ice cream! The street parking had us steps away from our front door. We enjoyed the small coffee pot, sink, mini-fridge and microwave. Being 1/2 block from downtown, we walked everywhere, including out to the “The Foundry” for avocado toast & lattes! We walked to nearby Deer Creek to try our luck at trout fishing, but the water was low in late November, having had no rain, so no catching, only fishing. Great access to HW49 had us run down to Grass Valley for a huge outdoor breakfast at an Italian place that features 91 different omelettes! We WILL be back with mountain bikes and stand up paddle boards for nearby Scott’s Flat Resevior!

We loved staying at this home. We went to Nevada City for a little getaway with friends and had a great time! Keep in mind that there is not a separate living area and just a small little kitchenette but perfect if you want to spend more time outside the house. We will definitely be back!

This is perfectly located in downtown Nevada City! Once you park your car, you don’t need to use it again! Very clean, quiet and charming! Coffee pot was ready to go and fresh flowers on the table.

Really great little place, very clean, very cute, easy check-in, and a more perfect location could not exist. Right in the heart of downtown Nevada City; Walking distance to all of the things. Would recommend, 5 stars.

This is a great property and the location is unbeatable. It is right in town and easy to access everything by foot. The little porch made for a another living area. We had all our needs met and I would suggest this to a friend.
