We couldn’t have loved our time at “My Happy Place” more! The house is so beautiful and we felt at home the minute we walked in the door. The house is beautifully decorated and has all that you need for a wonderful stay! The beach can’t be described in words- it’s stunning! “My Happy Place” and SW are a treasure! We can’t wait to come back!!!

The house looks even better in person. Very well stocked with kitchen items. Comfy beds. Would definitely recommend.

Our happy place was just that while we were in Spanish Wells! This house is absolutely gorgeous and had everything we needed for our stay, including our family and 2 young children. The beach in front of this property is stunning and we enjoyed its proximity to the sandbar. We had an amazing time and hope to visit again soon! Spanish Wells does it for us again!

My Happy Place was perfectly situated and beautifully furnished. We loved being able to walk to the beach and swim daily, have lunch/naps in the house and then back to the beach after dinner. It was beautiful, comfortable and very clean! We loved our stay. Thank you!

This is probably the best rental home we’ve stayed in to date! Clean, comfortable, up to date, cozy little nooks for the kids to play in, etc…everything we needed! Highly recommend!

What a wonderful vacation, start to finish! I had never heard of Spanish Wells and has stumbled upon it by accident while searching rentals in the Caribbean. And am I glad we did! The home is beautiful, new, spacious and clean. My husband is a chef and we ate most of our meals at the house. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed and the bbq grille was used many nights. We took advantage of the provided beach chairs and kayaks and spent every day relaxing and enjoying the gorgeous beach - a 30 second walk down a sandy path from the house. Thank you Marie and Ben for allowing us to stay in your wonderful home. We hope to return every year!

My Happy Place is the perfect name for this beautiful property on this beautiful island. It truly was our happy place for the week that we were there. Wish we would have booked it for at least two weeks. It was paradise!

The house is beautiful and location is great! Great set up for kids with the bunk beds. Proximity to the beach was convenient for going back and forth to the house especially with kids. We often had the beach to ourselves. We absolutely loved it and can’t wait to return.

Absolutely stunning. So much thought has been put into “My Happy Place.” Pair the house with a friendly island and a gorgeous beach and water there’s no reason not to visit again! The open floor plan and simple yet elegant decor was just perfect. They have everything you would ever need, plus more! We didn’t even have time to watch any TV or play the numerous board games since we spent all our time on the GORGEOUS beach, but it was so nice they were there! One of the first things my daughter noticed was the hammock and a swing under the house, so fun! I was won over by the kid’s step stool in the bathroom, made life so much easier for our 5 year old and was such a thoughtful added touch… it’s the little things! The house is super clean and organized. Another reviewer said there wasn’t a hair dryer.. but there is, in the green bedroom! We used the kayaks for an adventure one of the days and my daughter loved using the beach pail and sifter to collect her finds along the beach. The water is absolutely perfect for anyone, but especially kids as my daughter could go out at least 200+ meters and not even have the water over her waist. Candida was super helpful upon our arrival and even scheduled everything for our departure since our flight left in the evening after check-out. Do yourself a favor and book a full-day charter. We went out with Captain Clayton from DaSaltyPig and it was the most amazing experience. This was easily one of our favorite and most memorable vacations, thank you for sharing “My Happy Place” with us!

This house (believe it or not) is better than the pictures. So much detail went into this amazing property. Plus the berkey is the icing on top (I brought my own berkey filter to realize they had one). Overall, perfection. I will be staying here again and again.

We loved the house, it's location in town and its closeness to the beach. We will definitely be staying in this house again; it was perfect for the 2 of us and we have already recommended it to several friends who have already booked the property for themselves. This will be the first place we check when we plan our vacation for next year!

My family and I chose My Happy Place to celebrate my birthday and we were not disappointed. The house is just beautiful from top to bottom. The amenities are lovely and it looks just like the pics online. The property manager Candida was exceptional and very pleasant to work with. I will book here again as soon as I’m able to get back. Two couples and a college age son spent two weeks on Spanish Wells for the second summer in a row. We love the island and it people - it truly is a wonderful escape from the real world. We are so glad we found “My Happy Place”. The pictures are accurate but it is so much better in person!!! The home was so clean and the location on the island is perfect. A very quick golf cart ride to the grocery store and to Papa Scoops! The kitchen is well equipped although we ate most dinners out - we rotated between Sandbar, Wreckers, and Shipyard. Wreckers is a short golf cart away so we even did takeout pizza and wings a couple of nights. We loved having the Berkey! So much easier than arranging to have a 5 gallon water jug refilled. We also purchased the Blueland detergent in advance and tried it at home. We found it to be a great product and we used it for our laundry on our trip. We had great communication and quick response with the owner during the months leading up to the trip. Once on the island, the house manager was great and also quick to answer questions. You will need to book the golf cart and ferry transportation on your own - but so easy! The only thing that we found that we needed in the house was a hair dryer. Everything else was provided. Favorite part of the house - the covered porch and views of the ocean. It was a really quick and easy walk to the beach and we spent every day there! The beach on Spanish Wells is like a big swimming pool - never very deep and you can float all day! We walked to the sandbar each day and always saw lots of starfish. The bathrooms with large walk in showers are also amazing! And the outdoor shower was perfect for rinsing the sand off each day. Will we return to Spanish Wells … absolutely!!! “My Happy Place” will be where we choose to stay. It truly is a special place. Now .. if we can just figure out how to get to Eleuthera without battling the American Airline flight from Charlotte …..

Having been to more than a few Caribbean islands, Spanish Wells has become our new favorite and this house has become our new favorite place to stay. Clean, open concept, well appointed, etc.. We eat in most times and the kitchen provided all that we needed to prepare a gourmet meal with the local fish. The beds and pillows were luxurious. Even though the house is set back, the views are perfect and the front porch is covered and furnished with a lovely outdoor couch. My daughter ended up sleeping in the great room reading nook, not because she had to, after all she had a beautiful bedroom, but because she loved the coziness of it. The house is situated at the most beautiful part of the north beach. Just perfect for a relaxing vacation. Will definitely be returning.

Clean and spacious house that is close and convenient to all the amenities Spanish Wells has to offer. Lovely view of the water with just a short walk to the beach. House has all basic amenities to ensure your stay is comfortable. Neighboring house the cutest little gang of small dogs that like to let their little barks be heard ;) Candida, the property manager is a doll and is available to assist with anything you may need during your stay!

The home is more beautiful and thoughtful in person. The location is the best beach access on the island.

My Happy Place was fantastic. It is beautiful, well appointed, and welcoming. We had everything we needed and felt right at home. The kids room was a hit with our almost 4 yo. He loved the toys and they kept him so entertained. Just a two minute walk and you are on a gorgeous beach with almost no one there. We will be back!

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The location is perfect. The house was beautiful- little hard to stay cool but we made it work. The kitchen was well appointed- only drawback would be no closet in the master or bunk room and no iron if needed to iron clothing. All in all a wonderful place!!

The house is just in front of the beach, it is very clean and cozy. We truly felt at home. Very practical, you have everything that you need in the kitchen and the bathrooms. Beds are very comfortable, and the deck is so beautiful, perfect for a lovely dinner outside. The island is so pretty and calm. Best stay ever
