I liked that the bed was comfortable.
There are no lace curtains on the windows, when you are a group and share a bathroom, there is little luxury to spend extended time in the bathroom to change because others are waiting their turn to use the facilities. The place is so packed, one can see the neighbours kitchen or back room through the windows, the chance of being caught naked changing to go for a swim is probable.
There is also a permit situation to enter and exit the resort, if you don't have a permit before 8am, stay in bed and wait. I was quite astounded by how people stayed in their tents while the sun was up and hot at 6am until I arrived at the gate and learned that they were probably waiting for reception, the restaurant and even the shop to open too.

The bed was really small and hard.

It is safe and secluded. The shop is well stocked. The pools are perfect temp on hot and cold days. Our view was super and the suroundings are perfect for a good break.
The loungers at the top pool is quite hard and uncomfortable. It would be great if they swop them for more of the loungers at the bottom pool.

The nature, quiet relaxed time spend, all visitors was well behaved, the manager at swimming pool ensure people behave well. the little shop caters for all our needs, already discussed with my children to join us next time.

The unit we stayed in was great. The pools were wonderful. The scenery was beautiful. Enjoyable stay all round.

This was supposed to be the weekend where we had to decided to become members of ATKV or not. Well they made the decision for us... I get the feeling that (because we are not members) they put you in the worst possible unit. With members who obviously gets first choice on better units... ATKV Drakensville is still stuck in the 19s, where the only recent upgrade is the Snappy Chef in the kitchen. The whole units ceiling is filled with black mold, which is a big concern for my daughter who has severe allergies and asthma. She had flair ups during the night, so bad that we had to make the decision to check out the next morning and searched for a better place to stay...

Ich nutze selten solche Unterkünfte und war somit umso überraschter - positiv. Das Apartment hatte eine kleine aber vollwertige Küche, einen privaten Parkplatz, eine Terrasse und ein super bequemes Bett! Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig.
Frühstück war recht vielfaltig und stets frisch!
Es gab ein beheizten Innenpool!!!
Bis in die Berge waren es kaum mehr als 20min mit dem Auto.
Die Mitarbeiter waren allesamt äußerst nett.
Ich würde immer wiederkommen!

Everything about the resort is just so beautiful. The rooms are clean and well taken care of. It gets really hot during the day and their aircons do the magic. They have back up power when loadshedding hits👌👌. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We really had the time of our lives.
Some of the white guests are too racist for my liking. When black people step inside a pool they leave. I found that very disturbing and flipping annoying🤬😡

Beautiful environment, stovetop using new technology of "yuppy chef" pots, generators kicking in when loadshedding happened so power at all times. Wonderful friendly and helpful staff.
Bathroom door swollen and therefore sticking when opening/closing - needed attention. Handrails along stairs to reach chalet very loose - needs to be fixed. Put Put course could do with a facelift and some work.

Not that we didn't like but I think communication should be balanced in terms of languages used as most of the announcements were made in Afrikaans.
And if you can also include some other music genres.
I would also advice that the walls separating apartments outside be built right to the roof to avoid smoke from braaing coming to the neighbours apartment.

The music after the world cup rugby at the hall was shocking till 12 that night, and the resorts rules cleaning said no loud music after 10 and we stayed right next to the hall with a husband that got food poisoning from the koswerf restaurant. It was an absolute nightmare to say the least. We were suppose to leave the Monday but left Sunday due to my husband being very sick and not wanting to take a chance ordering more food from koswerf as their food is dodging.

CATS I can not understand why the management of Drakensville do not make a plan with the cats in the area. They are pests, especially if they become feral, and should be treated that way. You are blessed with wonderful birdlife in the area. Please keep it that way!!

Ruime huisjes, prima zwembaden (binnen verwarmd), midgetgolfbaan, tafeltennistafel, kleine supermarkt. Tijdens loadshedding door generator toch stroom.
De wifi is heel slecht, zelfs bij de receptie. De huisjes zijn erg gedateerd.

It was very neat and tidy. The unit had everything you would need. The staff were very kind and helpful. Our AC unit wasn’t working upon arrival and did everything they could to make us comfortable and even installed a brand new one for us the next day.
Food at the restaurant was good and very good breakfast.

The location was beautiful
Our unit was dirty. The Dishes in the cupboard were dirty when we arrived. There was also no hot water to shower on the morning of check out.

The location is good . Activities are great. Place it well maintained and clean
Table tennis bat's need to be good. The pool table cues aren't good. My neighbour's had a loud party till about 1am which kept my kids restless. The signal is poor.

The hot pools were fantastic.
Rooms were small and only one bathroom. No heater in the room.

Loved the facilities and the hot pools. Very relaxing environment. The price was also good due to affordability.
The menus for dinner and breakfast needs to be enhanced. Very limited especially for someone that does not partake in beef and pork meals.
