Our receipt handed to us stated Bed and Breakfast. When we went doen Saturday morning we were told it was only bed on the system. The staff member was rude, and even when they acknowledged the receipt stated breakfast said 'you know what you're trying to do' in a very accusational manner. Ultimately while the receipt implied a service we were offered that was not being declined I would have been fine if they had simply said sorry at any point in the interaction and acknowledged it was wrong. We didn't stay the second night.

The room smelt of cigarettes. Smell kept waking us up. Mattress way too soft. Only one mug and one glass. 1/2 a toilet roll. soap sprayed everywhere when using. Room could have potential if it was cleaned and looked after properly.

Plumbing in the bathroom was a bit cranky but room was lovely.

Paper thin walls, could hear every word from the room next door. No room to walk round the beds. Poor TV reception. Restaurant closed but advertised on the website.

the room was very dirty there were peanut shells all over the bed. I moved the bed when I dropped something and there were more shells plus rubbish and lots of dirt under the bed too.

room was not worth £100 a night. walls were paper thin. can hear everything that goes on in the building. Bar????? don’t get me started. should just close it all together. the pint was rotten and no stock of anything. I got more in my fridge at home

located near the town but in a quiet area. good size well equipped room. reception met my request and f locating rooms on the ground floor. very good service at breakfast, lovely breakfast.

thin walls, I could hear the snores from the neighbouring room. guests parked outside my room with no regard to noise, I didn’t want to hear their music at 2am! we would liked to have eaten in the restaurant but they weren’t prepared, it would have been nice to have known in advance.

I didn’t have a good sleep at all on the second night due to noise from boiler or heating which kept me awake.
