This hotel has the friendliest staff I have ever come in contact with. The location is perfect for most everything in downtown Salem. It offers free breakfast, underground parking on site and the rooms are good size and comfortable

We didn't have the breakfast, but it did look adequate. Once we worked with the front desk - the housekeeping issue was resolved. The garage was "Valet Parking" which meant someone let us in and told us where to park. It was fine.

Housekeeping : The 1st day I found the housekeeper & asked that she just replace the items I needed, as it was already 5 PM. She did so. The 2nd day I found her at 11 AM & asked that she clean the room while we were out. We returned at 2 and left again at 4. She knocked on the door at 5 and said she had time. We declined by that point. I was collecting & disposing of our trash and got towels & toiletries from the carts in the hall as the housekeeper was not to be found. On the 3rd day we spoke to the desk and they arranged for immediate service. The front desk was great and the room was adequately cleaned.

Parking underneath,breakfast included option was phenomenal plenty of foods. Free coffee in lobby 24/7. Close to laundry mat and car wash. Coffee k-cup in room hot good. Housekeeping every day if wanted. Hot shower. Fitness room was great.

The bed was a pillow top mattress so soft and plush when you get settled in then you sink into a hard spot of the mattress and it becomes hard to move around in the bed and really not that comfortable. I’m only 200lbs.For that one reason I would not stay there again. Big reason comfort. That’s just me!

Wish breakfast had more fruit options. A little more communication about house keeping and what the guests should expect to be done on a daily basis. It was not a problem...

Breakfast was a good selection especially with kids. Location was central to most activities.

The bed was hard. It was like sleeping on a piece of wood. I only slept for 4 hrs because the bed was so uncomfortable. The room was hot even though we turned the A/C on because we like it cool to sleep. The system kept shutting down and I would have to turn the fan back on. Also was not aware that they charge you $25 per night to park under the hotel in a garage and have no free parking option for the hotel. Most likely would have chosen something without that added expense.

The location was perfect, the room was a great size, bathroom was beautiful, and all of the staff we came in contact with were absolutely wonderful. Everyone was helpful and so nice.

The only thing that wasn't great was paying $25/day for parking at a hotel I had already purchased a room from. But they made up for it with being a private garage and easy access.

Clean up to date accommodations. Super friendly and helpful staff and prime location to walk to restaurants, shops and the harbor. They even allow dogs here;)

My request for a room close to the elevator due to knee injury was not accommodated. My room was directly above a sports bar with a live band that played nonstop from 10 pm approx to 1 am; the next night, an 18 wheeler broke down under my windows and kept its engine running in for 1-1/2 hrs. Sleep was very difficult at this hotel. I will have to find new accommodations for future trips to Salem.

The location is good and in walking distance to restaurants.

My room looked over a busy street and it was noisy at night.

We rented 2 rooms. The second room was perfect for my daughter.

My daughter liked her room very much.

The staff was pleasant.

When we got to the 4th floor and stepped out of the elevator we were instantly appalled. There was so much dirt and dog hair on the floor in the hallway. It was disgusting. When we got into our room, everything seemed to be OK at first when I put my luggage on the ground and picked it back up it was covered in white dog hair. The room had no clock in it either. The first thing I did was pull the filters out of the heater/air conditioner, and rinse them off in the tub. it was full of dust and dirt. The staff was friendly but overall hotel cleanliness was one out of a 10. The third floor, where the breakfast was served, stunk terribly. It’s a shame because it was a beautiful space. we waited for breakfast, and it was nothing to write home about. When we laid on the bed, we felt like our skin was crawling. I don’t know if it was fleas or what, but we didn’t get under the covers. We rented a hotel at Hampton, because we expected nothing but the best in this case we were sadly disappointed.

Perfect location for exploring Salem. We will definitely be back at this hotel to explore the city more one day

The staff was amazing! We had such a wonderful time there and everything was in walking distance from there.

The only downside was the $25 daily parking rate, but it's completely understandable

How close to town,shops and restaurants.

Small rooms, no vents in the bathroom ,dirty pool, bad smelling.

The property is in the perfect location! Very clean and friendly, and helpful staff. We really enjoyed the stay and the pool.

Every thing was great from checking in to breakfast.

We were on the floor above the dance club, so we couldn't sleep until after 2 am. And when we came back from dinner someone had thrown up outside our room. But it wasn't cleaned until the next morning, when I went downstairs for coffee. Those were the only 2 things that weren't great for a Hilton property.

Breakfast was good all three mornings of my stay and I wasn’t harassed during my stay by staff.

I like firmer pillows , but the pillows are standard to be fluffier across all hotels. I just needed to use more of them for my comfort.

Everything was perfect, the room was beautiful and very clean. The staff were so friendly. The entire experience was so wonderful, I will definitely stay again!

Breakfast was really good, good coffee and a variety of breakfast selections. Room was clean and comfortable with plenty of outlets.

I tried calling the front desk 5 times in a period of one our between 7 and 8 am because I could not log on to the WiFi. I typed in my last name and the room number and I kept getting a message that the information I entered was incorrect. So, I couldn't use the free WiFi and had to use my iPhone as a hotspot for my laptop,

Loud ac unit near bed. Included breakfast was bad. The waffle batter was so thick it didn’t come out of spout. Kitchen brought new batch out but was very rubbery and chewy. Eggs were liquidy, essentially in water. Coffee was like water.

Nice location, huge and mega comfy bed and great shower soaps. Also parking in garage was very convenient and staff was very friendly!

At first the room (facing main road) seemed a bit noisy with traffic but we slept like babies and didnt hear anything during the night.

Parkering utanför hotellet fungerade dåligt. Fick då inte så mycket hjälp av hotellet

Every person at the main desk. The small banquettes in the breakfast space. The options in the little market area. The gentlemen in valet were just that, gentlemen.

Paying for parking. A dedicated smoking area, because it's legal. . . I'm medical cannabis, and really no space for a woman to feel safe?

Location was great. Newer facility - which was great.

The bathroom had no fan/vent and would stay steamy/damp after a hot shower. The front desk said someone would look at it - they never did - so I don't know if it wasn't working - or there was no vent system in the bathroom.
